1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't start your day by checking the price of bitcoin in the morning. on: October 11, 2018, 09:55:54 AM
The temptation to wakeup and have bitcoin price in ones mind is sort of inevitable especially with the volatile nature of the current bearish market but its just safe to get distracted with other things and only look up current price if you must. I read recently that bulls may take as long as mid 2019 to have their run.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen with Bitcoin if it never scales? on: October 11, 2018, 09:41:54 AM
If bitcoin never scales this current bearish situation, i trust that other coins will rise up and become the future bitcoin. They will become the most talked about and most used for cross crypto transactions.
Bitcoin will now become the alternative.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet hacking is it possible? on: October 11, 2018, 09:37:13 AM
Of course, yes, wallet Hacking is possible and many have been victims of hackers but there is what an individual can do to protect his wallet: Avoid sites that are not trusted, use different passwords for various sites, DO NOT EVER sign a message on fraudulent sites. Protect your private keys, back them up and write them out on a seperate device.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if someone bought up all the existing bitcoins? on: October 04, 2018, 11:39:15 AM
Buying up all the bitcoin by one fellow sounds really funny and i find quite impossible now here is why?
There are new bitcoins continually entering circulation by way of mining and i read that, there are bitcoins in cold storage that are not available for sale,.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Digital money or virtual currency? on: October 04, 2018, 11:22:42 AM
Each Country's level of acceptability defers and it will just take time for some countries to fully accept bitcoin. Like mine, full acceptability looks like it will take a while but thank God, with internet access, one can always do what you need to do with bitcoin and can push pass some restrictions.

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: YOU CANNOT EAT YOUR CAKE AND HAVE IT. on: September 25, 2018, 09:40:46 PM
True, one really have to take a stand, make a choice and move on.

The price of bitcoin is red on the market so you want to do panic selling?
Trust me, if you get scared today and sell your bitcoins, and the market gets better tomorrow, what happens?

You cannot eat your cake and have it back.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we change the public's view of Crypto world? on: September 25, 2018, 09:36:39 PM
Most experts agree that, soon enough, countries will turn to cryptocurrency, its evident that money is already moving to the digital realm. So a method that secures digital transactions is necessary to adopt, and the blockchain technology used in cryptocurrencies is the real deal. So its completely true to say the cryptocurrenciès will be the future of finance and there is no need to fret as the world will eventually embrace fully all that cryptocurrency represents.

13  Other / Meta / Re: How hard to earn merit? on: September 20, 2018, 09:28:11 PM
So  much sudden interest in merit and quality post, i just hope deserving post ends up getting the merit that is due. But I trully think one should get his mind off merit and just be as real as can be on this platform, if merit comes along the way, fine, and if it doesnt, we do what we love to do and enjoy the community as best as we can. My one cent thoughts.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you're gonna make an ICO, what would you name your coin? on: September 15, 2018, 10:55:22 AM
Name is  very important as it can catch the interest of possible investors even before the person does his or her research. So something catchy name will suffice but its worthy to note also that the name is quite superficial as content is much more beneficial than name so its two ways if you ask me- Great name and good content will do the trick.
15  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Is HODL is a good policy? on: September 15, 2018, 10:32:28 AM
Hodl is a great policy that comes with a caveat, Hodling points at those investors who are willing to hold on to their coins for the long haul and this policy cant work for day traders like in stock. Though Just know that the hodl policy, keeps Bitcoin from circulating throughout the society which in turn affects the value.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will bitcoin become obsolete? on: September 14, 2018, 10:13:05 PM
Bitcoin from my point of view will remain king for a very long time regardless of its down trend presently. At the end, it will still be bitcoin reigning, all these other alt coins exist because of bitcoin, and the mostly derive their value from it. For me, It remains the backbone of the blockchain world so i doubt if it can ever become obsolete.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone, please tell me how can I invest in ICO? on: August 31, 2018, 11:18:00 PM
How to invest in an ICO is to first research about the said project, researching is so important that it can never be overemphasized, look up the roadmap, use case, whitepaper, team and every other detail that is provided, if you are satisfied with the prospects that the project present, just go ahead and invest as much as you are willing to loose.
