There's no such thing as bad publicity, right?  Cheesy
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Digital currency and cryptocurrencies on: October 17, 2018, 08:26:23 AM
I've always considered crypto as a form of digital currency. I'd say keep them under one roof. In fact this might even cause more confusion from a newbie's perspective.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin connected to our banks!!! on: October 17, 2018, 07:52:53 AM
Banks working with Bitcoin kind of defeats the purpose of decentralization right? I'd rather have my crypto separate from banks. I don't think there's any reason you can't use both anyway. Yes, this might be convenient, but we might be looking at further restrictions. On top of that, many banks remain skeptical about Bitcoin, so IF EVER something like this happens, we're looking at the far future.

11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can too many Altcoin's can become a threat to bitcoin's existence on: October 04, 2018, 08:26:27 AM
If anything, I think the increasing number of altcoins can help Bitcoin grow even further. Bitcoin is number one, and without it, the entire concept of decentralized payments will be pretty much non-existent.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Organized Crime on: October 04, 2018, 01:51:41 AM
I'd hate for people to think that because of the association of Bitcoin and organized crime, it automatically gets the red flag, when in fact, it is actually one of the safest payment methods out there. Hopefully this doesn't end it for those who know nothing about crypto.

14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Ask "Time To Buy" "HOLD or SELL" "Right time to entry" on: September 28, 2018, 08:44:16 AM
It's always the best time to buy bitcoins. You can always HODL to your coins if you want to prevent losses or at least break even. I think the latter question is more valid than the other as it is a common query that comes from beginners
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Idea: How to increase bitcoin demand on: September 27, 2018, 08:29:34 AM
Looking at Bitcoin's status right now (or crypto in general), I'm sure that plenty of online merchants out there get the usual crypto payment inquiry. In fact, if i do have the option to pay with bitcoins, I try to do so to see if services actually give importance to their crypto-payment side.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you reccomend family and friends to join the market when it's crashing? on: September 24, 2018, 08:48:13 AM
Yes, but with ample reasoning. It can be a good opportunity for new users to test out crypto while the market is at a low point, which means they can play with a few BTC without breaking the bank. Then, if crypto prices go back up then they get to earn from it. If they have the extra dough to shell out for a few BTC, it can be a good experience one way or another.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WARREN BUFFET says Bitcoin won't end well on: September 21, 2018, 07:42:39 AM
At least in his eyes, Bitcoin won't end well. It might be a lack of understanding on his side, but we can't blame him for that. If he thinks that Bitcoin will go down in the long run, let him be. We, meanwhile, take advantage of the opportunities presented by volatility, investments, the blockchain, etc.
18  Other / Archival / Re: The Founder of Bitcoin on: September 21, 2018, 07:14:06 AM
Nakamoto is right for staying anonymous. The amount of attention he will get should he reveal his true identity will only endanger his life. Yes, it has its perks, but I'm guessing it won't outweigh the risks that come with it.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UNICEF is now accepting donations in Bitcoin and 8 altcoins on: September 20, 2018, 08:41:19 AM
About time they did this! I'm ecstatic for UNICEF! I'm sure donations from the crypto side will start coming in left and right. Looking forward to more programs embracing crypto payments.
