VeChain is the no-brainer here. World class team, a project that solves a real life issue and can easily survive in the following 2-5-10 years. A lot of partnerships,a lot of support. The list can go on for ages but you should do your own due diligence.

It is helpful but it's not a must. The crypto world is a whole new world and it has to be looked at as such. Most of the rules that apply to the cryptos don't apply to other assets and vise versa. The key here i A LOT of reading,researching and not trusting everything you read on the internet. It's too early to talk about patterns and history. What you should be more interested in is the future. Will a coin/token be used in 5 years ? Is it solving a real life issue ? Do we NEED it ? The market is still too fragile and easy to manipulate. A speech from a famous investor is more than enough to shake the price of any or all coins at the moment so personally I don't believe that examining the 4-hour movement of the price of Bitcoin in April 2016 will be of much help to you.

You should look for improvements and implementation of new features, which can help raise the price gradually. Our top 3 right now would be:
1) Ethereum - with the implementation of PoS/PoW hybrid, they can solve a lot of their current issues and they keep improving constantly in order to stay ahead of their competition.
2) EOS - speeking of ETH competitor,the EOS team have set huge goals ahead of them, and if Dan and the others can keep up with their promises after the main launch somewhere in June or July, they can become a serious long term player in the crypto world.
3) VeChain - if you are not familiar with the project,check it up ! World class team,recent rebranding and moving to their own platform and a product that focuses on solvin a real life issue. Definitely worth investing in for a long term.

Its not about the current price but the future of the altcoin. The market will have a lot of rise and falls and if you are looking for a long term investment and hodl-ing you should consider coins with strong fundamentals,strong and determined team and posibility for future use of the coin/token. I'm talking 5 years, 10 years even. A coin/token/project should solve a real world issue and must be ahead of the competition in the sphere to have a chance for a long term survival. Any product that combines those features and has good coin economic should survive any bear market.

There are a lot of thing wrong with putting all your eggs in one basket. Yes,we also believe in the bright future ot Ethereum, but the whole market is too unstable and too unbredictable to make rash decisions. If you have decided to go "all in" - good luck, but still there are a lot of better ways of splitting your portfolio which can lead to a lot more profit than trusting everything in one coin.

Its a great project with a lot of thing going on really good for them. It's on of (if not) the best privacy coins out there and if you can affor a masternode you should definitely set it up because the price will only go up from here and it's a great investment for long term passive income which is the best option in this unstable market. Do your own due diligence, but PIVX is one of the best Masternode coins alongside Dash and VeChain right now.

The cryptomarket is impossible to predict at this stage of its development. Even a statement from a famous investor is enought to shake the whole market so you should be very careful with your investments because right now the whole market is a part of a lot bigger picture and we all are just observers hoping to make a decent profit out of it. You should invest only in stable projects with strong fundamentals which can survive the following years.

It's a little bit of a risk right now, but with all the implementations and new features coming to ETH, the price can potentially double or even tripple in the following months if everything they plan goes smoothly (and in our opinion,it will!). Transition to PoS is more than enough of a reason to believe in the bright future of Ethereum, especially with competition such as EOS and NEO breathing in their neck all the time,they can't afford to stop even for a second. Highly competitive market brings the best out of all involved so ETH (and even EOS and NEO) is the better and smarter investment compared to LTC, because as Charlie Lee,creator of Litecoin, said - they are more than happy with the second place after BTC, so there isn't a lot of room for improvement for them.

Going All In is never a good idea. Yes,if you really believe in a project/crypto you can invest a lot in it but it should never be for all your money. A good percent would be 30% of your portfolio (40% if you are a true believer) but never more than that because it really limits your future possibilities and exits in case of a crash.
