1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will bitcoin be replace by ethereum/ripple on: May 30, 2018, 01:16:48 PM
Not Ripple in my opinion, but possibly be Ethereum. With the current situation its highly possible, but it really depends on the Ethereum competitors (such as EOS and NEO) and how they solve Ethereums problems. The market is big enough for all of them to exist, but they can damage the price of Ethereum in the long term. Its still too early to make any prediction as only time will tell who will emerge as the top dog in the crypto field, but it's highly possible for Bitcoin to lose its Nr.1 spot in the comming years if they don't introduce any major improvement to their product.

The main launch is scheduled for 2nd of June so if you are hoping for a huge rise in price after it moves to their own platform, now is the best time to buy the token. It's risky but the project looks very promising and everyone hopes that EOS can solve the scalability issues of ETH. A strong, competitive market is the most important part for the crypto world to move forward so let's see if EOS can keep all their promises.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to invest, please help? on: May 30, 2018, 11:40:04 AM
First of all, don't trust people on the internet but do you own due diligence. Second of all, the best coins to invest in are the ones which can survive the test of time and the market falls. So look for coins with strong fundamentals, experienced teams and good coin economy. Before you invest in a coin/token/project think if it solves a real life problem? Will it be used in another 5-10 years? Is there a lot of competition and is it better than that competition? If the answer to any of the questions is No, then probably it's not worth investing in,except if it's a revolutionary product which will blow the competitors in the long term (which is also hard to predict). Hope this helps and good luck to all !
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoin would you prefer to be paid in? on: May 30, 2018, 11:27:36 AM
ETH would be the best choice in our opinion. It's easy a stable coin with huge possibility for price increase, it's easy to trade for other altcoins, tokens or fiat money if they manage to implement PoS in the near future, transaction speed will rise dramatically.

Yes, it is, because it helps get rid of newbies with little to no knowledge and experience in the field. People who enter the crypto world only to get rich quick and effortlessly have no bussiness being here. The core idea of cryptocurrencies was for them to be used in the real world instead of fiat money, not to be traded as assets and hoping to profit from them.

You should focus on roadmaps and future improvements. Look which coin has major plans for the near future (e.g. changing consensus algorithms, moving to their own platform or any other features you find promising).
It's risky because their plans may always fail but this is the best way in our opinion to pick coins/tokens which can double or tripple in price in the following months.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how do you choose Altcoin .. ?? on: May 30, 2018, 08:35:30 AM
Well there are several key factors in our opinion:
1) The idea of the project/coin/token. Is it solving a real world issue? Is it important that this problem is solven right now? Will it be useful and useable in the next 2,5,10 years?
2) The team itself. They may have a great idea but if they lack the knowledge and the expirience to make it happen - they will crash.
3) The competition. If there are a lot of competitors who are infrom of them, tha chances that the project succeeds is drastically reduced.
There are a lot of other things, but these 3 are the main ones in our opinion. Invest smart and responsibly and good luck !
