1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON leaves Ethereum network! How this will affect prices of of both coins? on: June 04, 2018, 11:47:54 AM
We don't think it will affect the price of ETH in any way, but depending on its performance it will definitely affect the TRON price. We would advice you to avoid investing in it for now and wait a little bit for problems to arise and for the team to solve them. For now the best you can do is explore the market and the possible outcomes but don't make any rash decisions involving investment.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BCH- Bitcoin Cash moment on: June 04, 2018, 11:28:16 AM
It has better features than BTC and with its current position, it can easily rise in price, but it's still a gamble at this point. It's obvious that the other Bitcoin forks will die out sooner or later but BCH will most probably survive and can even reach for BTCs spot at the top. It's still too early to predict and with the current market nothing is certain, but it might be worth investing in it at this point (at least it should be more profitable than investing in BTC). If you are looking for a long term investment this and ETH should be the smarter choice. Be careful with your investments and best of luck !
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Existing coins or ICOs? Where will you invest? on: June 04, 2018, 11:15:01 AM
70/30 in favor of ICOs is a little too risky. We would recommend 50/50 or at least 60/40. ICOs might need time to develop their projects and get listed on exchanges so you should have some sort of stable coins while waiting for that to happen. In the long term you can increase the % of your portfolio in favor of ICOs but for the start you should try a more balanced approach.  Most of the people start with around 40-50% in Bitcoin,Ethereum,Litecoin etc, 20-30% in altcoins and 10-20% in ICOs, which we believe is the smartest thing to do when you are a beginner investor. Hope this helps and best of luck !
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is weird on: June 04, 2018, 11:05:11 AM
Well, the crypto world is still new and people don't know what to do in case of these market crashes. When looking at the price of coins you should always compare them to the price of BTC instead of looking at their actual price in $. If Bitcoins price fall for any reason, all coins will follow. But if the price of BTC is stable but the price of you coin drops, then there is something wrong with that coin, not with the market itself. Same applies for rise in prices. You should be able to distinguish the reason behind the movement of the price and decide what to do based on that.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I buy TRON or ETH? on: June 04, 2018, 10:54:39 AM
There are a lot of reasons in favor of Ethereum. It is one of, if not the most stable coin out there, because more and more tokens/projects use their platform. Another thing is that they have big competitors in the face of EOS, NEO  and so on, which means they have no time to relax and must improve constantly in order to stay on top. Another very big plus is that you can easily trade your ETH coins for other tokens which use their platform, so in a way, it's a good start to buy ETH because it opens the door for further altcoin trading. Hope this helps and good luck !
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to make a decision to buy coin with this market situation? on: June 04, 2018, 10:19:42 AM
The most important factor is the test of time. Can the coin you want to buy survive market downfalls and recover afterwards? Is the idea innovative and solving real life issue ? Will it be relevant in 5-10 years ? If the answer to all (or most) of those questions is Yes, than you should research further (the team, the roadmap, the planned implementations and improvements) and after all that you could invest in it but always trade with caution and be ready to hold patiently when the next market crash happens.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you watch the price of your altcoin everyday? on: June 04, 2018, 10:01:57 AM
This practice in obsessive and unhealthy. If you truly believe in the coin/token you posses you shouldn't check it every day all the time, because the market is really unstable and the price can go up and down for no particular reason. Give it some time and focus on the long term growth. Instead of wasting your time on coins/tokens you already posses try to research and find new interesting projects. It a lot more interesting than reading the same old thing over and over again. Be careful with your investments and best of luck !
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Over 90% of ICOs are a scam on: June 04, 2018, 09:51:57 AM
If you spend enough time researching you will most probably not get scammed. Most of the projects are either a scam or the people behind them are unprepared and uneducated. You should watch out for red flags such as team transparency, quality of the idea itself, roadmap , token economics , and many more. The main things you should look for and are the easiest way to spot a scam are the team and the token economics. If there is no information on the people behind the project - it's almost certainly a scam, and even if it isn't its still not worth the risk. The other thing is the token economics. If they have set unrealistically high hard caps or they haven't described how the plan to distribute the money - it's probably a scam or the team is ill prepared. In both cases, you should stay away from the project. Checking this information costs not more than 5 minutes and is the easiest red flag to spot. Ba careful with your investments and good luck to all.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to start investing with 1$? on: June 04, 2018, 09:38:13 AM
The only good way would be to invest in a proper ICO and hope for the best. But with 1$ of investment I don't think its worth even wasting your time on that. You could end up wasting hours of reading and researching and even if the token goes 5X-10X you would still make only 4$ of profit. Focus on educating yourself on crypto in general when you feel you are ready, make a proper investment. Right instead of trying to make 1$ into 2$, you should better try with e Demo account and see how it goes. Good luck !
