1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH VS EOS on: June 12, 2018, 12:45:37 PM
You should wait a couple of more days to see how the main launch goes. We believe it's a good investment for the long term but it still depends on a lot of factors and involves it's own risks. Right now anything can go wrong and we need to see how Dan and the rest of the EOS team can react to setbacks and if they can solve their issues (if there are any). It's speculative thing but if you are ready to wait a year or two, you might get a huge profit from EOS. Good luck !
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin back to $500 is likeley on: June 12, 2018, 12:30:23 PM
I feel like people here are just shouting random numbers like a Bingo game and are hoping for it to happen so they can feel like their opinion is actually worth something. Try doing some reading instead of "trusting you gut". The market is almost impossible to predict but it doesn't have a rocket scientist to see basic patterns and sum 2 + 2. Things like that happen all the time and if you predict the death of crypto after every market fall, then don't waste your time on the crypto subject at all. Be careful with your investments, don't trust people on the internet and best of luck to all !
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ICO or buy BTC? on: June 12, 2018, 12:17:38 PM
Both. The best way to diversify you portfolio is as follows : 50-60% biggest coins by market cap (Bitcoin, Ethereum) , 30-40% altcoins with big potential (in your opinion of course) and 10% ICOs. This way you minimize your lose chance and You maximize your profit potential. You should ALWAYS have stable coins with less risk and coins in which you see big potential for growth. That way even if they don't meet you expectations for one reason or another, you will always have something left and won't bust. As people say "Don't put all your eggs in one basket".
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: regulations regulations regulations regulations on: June 12, 2018, 11:56:42 AM
The main purpose of regulations is to restrict people from using crypto, as most of the governments see it as a thread to the people and to their own interests. Regulations these days seem more like a witch hunt to track down the people behind the wallets and more and more of the big players start to sell their cryptocurrencies in order to avoid that (which is pointed out as one potential reason for the resent market crash). People need to take a stand and protect their interests or more and more regulations and restrictions will hit them in the near future.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bear market end or not? on: June 12, 2018, 11:47:48 AM
It's impossible to predict. Prices can go in any direction at any time and you should be careful with your investments. With so many regulations and restrictions all over the world it's hard to predict when and what moves will the big players make. One of the possible explanations for the sudden falling price of Bitcoin (and all crypto in general) is that big players in the US have started to sell to avoid getting investigated by the authorities. At this point the only thing we can do is sit down and enjoy the show.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best pick this month ? on: June 12, 2018, 11:19:51 AM
With the current sitution any Top 10 coin is a good pick. Sooner or later the prices will go back up and now would be the perfect time for a long term investment. Buy low - sell high and don't worry if you have to hodl because it's a lot smarter and easier than to day trade and wasting you time, energy and health. EOS has an upcoming main launch so you can always try them and hope everything goes according to plan without setbacks. It's risky but if it pays off you can make a fairly good profit in the coming months.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How long does it takes for a Token to rise the price after ICO? on: June 12, 2018, 11:13:41 AM
It depends, as the guys above said. Depends on the progress of the project, the hype, the roadmap, setbacks along the way. In general, ICO tokens are not meant for short term investments and they will need some time to show their true potential. If you are interested in short term investments try day trading with bigger coins and hope for the best. If you are interested in the long term, then you should consider ICOs and Tokens. If you sell too soon you might miss out on the bigger profit. Be careful with your investments and good luck !
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is crypto bubble bursting finally? on: June 12, 2018, 10:56:25 AM
With those things it's hard to predict. Prices can go in any direction at any time and you should be careful with your investments. With so many regulations and restrictions all over the world it's impossible to predict when and what moves will the big players (whales) make. One of the possible explanations for the sudden falling price of Bitcoin (and all crypto in general) is that big players in the US have started to sell to avoid getting investigated by the authorities. At this point the only thing we can do is sit down and enjoy the show.
