Thanks for the warm words. There are some unreplied mails I'll answer within the next 2 days. Little_boo will get a refund of 0.19btc (factor 1.00 instead of 1.20) soon from the small stack of money I still have in reserve for that kind of case.

You are welcome. Almost all payments have been processed. Vast majority have been (almost) committed already - all have at least 3 commits. There are only four transactions that couldnt made yet. I am waiting for a mail response...
Please note: I am on vaccation from 3rd September for 15 days. It is highly unlikely that I will answer or even look at anything here on bitcointalk or the mails @exocoin.org in that time. I'll answer anything thereafter.
I decided to donate at least a bit of the exchanged money to a charity like amnesty international or similar. Not sure about the organization and real amount. I'll decide it when I have the money on my bank account but I think of something like $300.
Thanks again once more for your understanding and general support of eXocoin. It would have been a great community around the coin I guess!
best regards eXocoin
Fuck them all, man. You've worked on eXo for months and months, why would you even consider to give any money to organizations and people you can't actually trust. You've got close ones right? Better make something nice for you or them for that $300. Well yes I can truely use it for close ones. You are right! It's embarissing that I did not take that into consideration. I'll make my mind on that in the next days only 2 open transactions left, got 2 replies in the mean time. Still thinking of releasing the source code... not sure about this yet. I'm out of here for today.

I am OK with that.
Glad to hear! So if anyone does not agree with the plan, please respond here, via pm or to refund@exocoin.org. If that is ok, I will start with the transactions today at ~20:00 UTC and will finish them tomorrow at latest. I have the passphrase of the wallet, the client (chain) up to date and running. So there won't be any issues on the technical part I guess.

Had more time than expected today - LTC payout finished right now (all LTC investors, who asked for a refund, got a factor of 1.47 of their investment back). All LTC refund proposals have been delivered, but those transactions are still unconfirmed by the network yet. BTC, as said, tomorrow or wednesday..
best regards eXocoin
#edit: people who would have gotten a bounty in eXocoin will get some BTC more than others, but not too much. The final factor for BTC payouts is not calculated yet ...
Calculation seems to be finished. If nothing is wrong here are the figgures: invested LTC 322 returned LTC 301 keeping for me 21 LTC == factor of 1.47 of investment, all refund-requestors get invested BTC 152.5 (after subtracting costs) returning BTC 136.8 (1.5 BTC used in sum for bounties, 2BTC still reserved for claims that are on my list, marked as "probably or waiting for answer") keeping for me 15.7 BTC == factor of 1.20 of investment, all refund-requestors get which turns out to be a salary of ~$3200 --- roughly $1.50/hour I got from the project. I hope you find the compensation I pay off myself reasonable for the hard work of more than 2,000 hours of planing, coding, writing and communication in general. And it is surely lower than the amount of $ I would have gotten if I scammed you right away in the beginning (> $100,000) or finishing the project (another 125BTC via escrow). (or if I would have worked 2,000 more hours on my regular work ...) best regards eXocoin

best regards eXocoin
Important information: Closing refund proposals at 31st August 12 AM UTC#edit: All mails are replied by now. No open refund-requests are in queue. I do not expect (m)any new requests in the next 12 hours. Next notification tomorrow. best regards eXocoin #edit: closed. Expect payouts to happen tomorrow or wednesday.

I am not at home on friday and probably saturday as well. So don't wonder why you do not get a reaction in that time. Anyway I am going to close the refund proposals probably on saturday, calculating what each of you will get. Expect the transfers then on sunday/monday/tuesday

all new mails and pms have been answered by now. Table on exocoin.org updated. You should find yourself on the list if you got a positive mail reply. We have reached the 100 btc threshhold

Hi.
I invested x btc and am just about to repsond to the email. I completely forgot the address I used to send the bitcoin though. Is there a list of investment addresses so I can see if that address is still active/in control of?
Regards.
Please see the PM I write in a minute. If anyone else has similar problems do not hesitate to write a pm or here. #edit bahamapascal is right, your address must be somewhere there. Anyway I help you out via pm #edit2: @ExoCoin: Thanks for coming back and refunding our investments! Must admit I didn't count on that any more.
Well I understand that nobody counted me in any longer. I couldn't live with such a fraud and wouldn't use the coins either. It was never my intention to scam someone #edit3: you will get a bit more btc/ltc than you have invested. That depends on how many proposals there will be in the next few days. Currently I would say that you get something like your investment factorized by 1.3 to 1.4, but dont nail me down on that figgures right now. Official numbers will be calculated once we close the refunds (if there are no more ltc proposals that factor would be quite high (something like factor 3, however the ltc development is really sad ...). But lets wait how many more refund request there will be. All I can tell for that is, there have been 7 new requests today. I have tried to reach all direct investors that I could reach via mail. If you know someone who did not filled a refund request please tell him. #edit4: I sent out many PMs to maximize the people I can reach. Due to limits of bitcointalk I cannot sent more than 120 an hour, so not all got one yet. #edit5: done.

Thanks for your warm words within the mails and here. I don't think that I will start a new project or work together at a different project any soon. Once the refunds are over I think I will write some kind of history about the coin development, mile stones and what has gone wrong and so on directly on exocoin.org. The LTC refund proposals are "opened" now as well - please write a mail therefore to refund@exocoin.org as well. I have updated the list on exocoin.org and added a sum row. best regards eXocoin #edit since I only read this topic again from page #315 on - I don't have any news on how the refunds from Anon have worked out. Did he paied everything back properly?#edit2: all that I can reach (BTC and LTC) should have been informed. Now I will wait some few days and then we will have the complete pay out within the next 9 days. #edit3: all mails that have reached refund@exocoin.org should have been answered by now

Yes, good idea. I just finished the list. Will be available soon. If you would like to have a refund and did not already mailed to refund@exocoin.org please do so as fast as possible - see exocoin.org for details#edit: please have a look at exocoin.org. Use CTRL+F to identify your BTC address. The BTC address + amount in that table will be used to send out the refunds! If that address is no longer available please write to refund@exocoin.orgIf you did not received a mail yet you won't receive a mail or refund anymore! Thus please immediately write to refund@exocoin.orgDo not use admin@exocoin.org or suppoert@exocoin.org for any messages anymorebest regards - next message tomorrow probalby eXocoin #edit2: Does anyone know the user apullman? I cannot reach him via pm or mail. If so, tell him to immediatly write to refund@exocoin.org, thanks

there are no words of excuse I could tell you.
Just want to emphasize: I never ever wanted to scam anyone. Refund organization is in progress (yes, very very late) - expect refunds next week. You may can trust this words due to the fact that I logged in and write this words right now. Why should I do it otherways (no I am not afraid of being tracked. This topic has been over I guess)?
sorry!
Please send an email as described on exocoin.org right now to get a refund if you not already did so. Please send not again a mail. Please note: To get a refund you MUST send me an email as described on exocoin.org --- A PM on bitcointalk.org is not enough. Mail must arrive within the next days to calculate the spreading amount.
best regards exocoin
@chopper: there is a need. Many people use public/managed wallet services. We cannot simply send all BTC back to the source addresses. Besides, we explicitly stated that we would like to have the same BTC address, not a new one if possible "my current BTC address for receiving coins: *BTC ADDRESS* (NOTE: please use the same as the original if possible. That would speed up things drastically)"
#edit: I have not got a single BTC/LTC personally. all send-transactions from that coin accounts were used for paying things like the server. If there are less proposals than 150btc, then I will split parts of the difference between all of you. Lastly I will pay myself off for the work put into eXocoin (dont worry that wont be too much).

2 is ok. We will increase that to 6 later on this day. network is ok at the moment. Initial sync probs should have been better but, I must admit, it is still fiddly. Proxy software is doing a good job so far as well.
Please wait for the next small update(1-2 days, including linux release) which will improve initial sync (not only in terms of speed). Next message from me in ~10 hours.

it's online, checkout sourceforge / our download area on exocoin.org
very excited to see what this version will bring. next client update, as stated, soon within few days.
best regards eXocoin

Alright, the speed-up on initial sync is not part of this version, however, the server part of it is included. That means that there will be a clientside update in the next 1-3 days which enhances the initial sync. We moved the grabber part of our online block explorer to a live server so it's data (well there is not that much information yet) should be accurate and live. Changelog is online at exocoin.org. Download link of beta version within the next 15 minutes. linux builds are delayed until tomorrow.

Hello everybody, good and bad news below.
yes it's right, we will launch with 0.7. that number indicates a major release version. However, 0.7 will be pretty close to 0.62 for sure.
Network is "still" stable, however we unfortunately found a bug, introduced by this version itself. We forgot to remove a test feature which kicked in after a certain block amount threshhold and it modifies the block's hash in an unwanted way. So we already removed that one line, but we need to re-upload the binaries and restart the network... I'm sorry for this mistake. To compensate this happening we will delay it some more hours ("what - more? yes, read on...") and will integrate the faster sync feature (needed syncing time should decrease up to factor ~50-80) already in this version. I promise that we will start the open beta test today (today in UTC time).
I hope you can understand that eXocoin

well, if we reach #1000 without problems it should be enough of testing We did not managed to include the mechanism to dramatically increase the initial sync speed in time yet. This and some more features will be implemented in the next 2-5days. If the network stays stable we will update the binaries on client and server side in the live system directly without interruptions then. Network on the live system started successfully. Nodes are up and running. We can sync up with the network and initiate transactions as usual. It took some more hours than expected, also, as usual... I'll go to bed now, while uploading some binary-packages (2xlinux + windows) If network is "still" running tomorrow early, then we will start with the beta (~5-7hours). Changelog of V0.62.0 will be finalized tomorrow. OSX will follow shortly hopefully. best regards eXocoin

0.62 build finalized on linux. uploading and starting the network now. This should take about 2hours, then a final test. If that all goes well we can start the openbeta within 7 hours or something. 0.62 will be available at start for windows and at least a fedora 20 x64 build. A centos 6.5 x86 build might be available at start, too or in the next days (we moved from centos 6.5 to fedora 20 as primary OS). Ubuntu or similar is targeted to be available in the next days as well as OSX. regards eXocoin Hello everyone,
Flowcontrol needs some more adjustments. We are working on it. open beta test will be delayed to tomorrow night probably therefore. Meanwhile tests on xp, vista, 7 and 8 were successfull. We are preparing the builds for linux and osx as well.
have a good night
Waited this long, I can wait another day or so! I still think eXo will be big, have you contacted jl777 about joining the SuperNET? No - I did not find time to read the pages that have been written when I was on the business trip. I'll do that after the open beta.

all tests with 0.62 were successfull on our windows testnet.
Tomorrow we will test it again on the final linux server that will be used for the launch. Still want to improve one minor thing tomorrow as well. Beta test should start tomorrow night if everything goes well, otherwise the day thereafter.
best regards eXocoin team
