1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin safer than banking? on: October 01, 2018, 04:08:40 PM
We deposit our money into banks for safety and security of our funds which makes us to feel free about our funds also it's banks responsibility to take care about our funds but we are almost tention free
But if you keep your fund with yourself like in Bitcoin then it's your responsibility to take care of your funds, you must aware of scams and hacks, you must secure your fund as possible as you can because no one knows about your funds, it is limited to only you
If you think that you are smart enough to secure your fund with yourself then there is no problem
Storing our fund into Bitcoin is so easy in my opinion as there are many ways to store Bitcoins securely
I love Bitcoin and blockchain technology and I also prefer you to do some research about Bitcoin wallets and secure ways to strore Bitcoins
2  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitart's post review topic for newbies to help them earn 1 or max. 2 merits on: October 01, 2018, 08:37:50 AM

Despite of I was really trying to give you a merit because you were the first applicant in this topic, I've found out that you have exactly 5 posts in the Bitcoin section and most of the others are in the Alt section...
Your posts in the Bitcoin section are mainly in spam megathreads, rephrasing things have already been mentioned, so you should try a bit harder to create useful content in connection with bitcoin if you want to receive a merit.

I really appreciate your idea for helping newbies who has good writing skills to get merit
But Forcing some one to write somewhere is not a good idea in my opinion
For me I have zero knowledge of mining but a little bit good at trading that's why I mostly used to write into trading discussion thread also I am reading almost all good posts there to increase my knowledge
But if anyone else force me to focus on mining and write there then off course I will prove myself very poor and fool guy
I just wanted to conclude that please don't force anyone to change their field of writing only for merit, it is not good for newbies as well as forum
Thanks for understanding
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A big movement by a Big exchange in INDIA on: September 30, 2018, 03:52:13 PM
RBI ban cryptocurrency trading through banks but they also argued that they are not against block chain and digital technology, they support it and they ban cryptocurrency because it has many harmful effects for now on Indian economy like corruption, hacking and many more
So we can't say it is a permanent ban on crypto in India, we can hope if some regulations will come in future or if government will find some useful cases of cryptocurrencies then there may be chances of crypto to be legal in India

If we talk about exchanges then there are some exchanges doing well with P2P trading
For zebpay, they did a very good job in Indian crypto world but I can't comment on the future plans of zebpay unless I have always positive hope regarding crypto world
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A simple proof that Bitcoin has zero value on: September 30, 2018, 08:32:33 AM
what you dont understand is this

1. if the database was secured using a signature, (PoS) then the costs to secure it is zero. but bitcoin actually has a real hard cost to secure the database (PoW) which is commonly called mining.
in 2009. mining could be done by one persons PC and he would broadcast the database out to other and the costs were negligable.

2. over time the security increased, it became difficult to secure it with single machines. people started to calculate that the electric required to secure it was as such
if electric was 5cents an hour. and 6 blocks were created in that hour. and a block contained 50coins in 2009
then a cost per coin was $0.000016666666666667
then it started requiring more power. and thus when 10 people were using their electric only one got to secure it meaning for every 10th block a person got rewarded. thus the cost rose 0.00016666666666667
then it started requiring more power. and thus when 100 people were using their electric only one got to secure it meaning for every 100th block a person got rewarded. thus the cost rose 0.0016666666666667
then people started using GPU's and the costs rose. they started pooling their workload together and sharing the reward and the costs increased.

by 2011 the amount of electric and time put into securing bitcoin got to $1.
by 2012 the amount of electric and time and equipment needed made it cost $6

the the reward halved so that doubled the costs because there was then half the reward. so 2012 had a $12 cost
more people started to join pools and the security difficulty increased. so costs to secure it went up

by 2013 ASICS became a thing and vastly increased the security and difficulty. to a tune of $100
by 2016 the cost went up to $300
by 2017 the costs went upto $900
by 2018 costs went up above $5000

yea the costs dont match the price.. but thats speculation. thats random drama above the underlying value.
it like housing.
it cost $80k to build a house but the builders sell it for a bit more to profit so houses price in at over $100k. and then speculators add on more.

housing has real costs and so housing is not free. and yes when the PRICE hyper inflates above VALUE/COST
that excess is a bubble because the price is "inflated" like a bubble inflates.
the housing market had a 'housing bubble' not because housing is fake but the price was inflated way above value

so yes with bitcoin although we did see a $1200btc in 2013 although the value was ~$100. did not mean btc was worth zero.. its VALUE was $100 and its PRICE was an inflated bubble of $1200

so yes although we did see a $20k btc PRICE in 2017 although the value was ~$2k. did not mean btc was worth zero.. its value was $2k and its price was an inflated bubble of $20k

and now in 2018. by looking at the cost of mining. there is not much of a inflated layer(speculative layer) above value. bitcoins VALUE is actually around the $6k costs and so compared to the very thin % of speculation. is deemed good value as the price and value are close to each other.

bitcoins have a cost
housing has a cost
tulips has a cost
but the price fluctuates above cost.
you can still buy tulips even now.. astonishing right? you would think tulips are fake or not worth anything. but they are worth something.
you can still buy houses even now.. astonishing right? would think houses are not worth anything. but they are.
you can still buy bitcoins even now.. astonishing right? you would think bitcoins are fake/worthless but they they are worth something.

I think you missed the point of my opening post, which is this: bitcoin has neither price nor value. Furthermore, terms 'the price of bitcoin' and 'the value of bitcoin' are oxymorons. Let's go back to our database to see why.

_____A______     ____B____    ______C______
____Alice____      ____2____    ____iPhones___
____ Bob ____     ___20____    ____US Dollars_
___ Steve____     ___15____    ___IBM Shares_

Now, can you say that entries in column B have prices? Of course not, this would be nonsensical, since they are quantities not prices. Things outside this database (named in column C) are what have prices. But, in the case of bitcoin, there are no things outside this database that are named in column C, and this column simply contains the name of the entry in column B - number 2 is bitcoin.

____Peter____     ____2____    ____Bitcoins___

So, when you say that bitcoin has price, what you are actually saying is that quantities (numbers) have prices, which is, as we just saw, nonsensical.

I can understand you but Bitcoin is a code like a software has
And a code has both value and price like software
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoin price based on bitcoin price? on: September 30, 2018, 07:09:12 AM
Altcoins prices are affected by Bitcoin price movements may be due to several reasons
- Bitcoin is the most dominant coin in crypto market (approx 50% dominance now)
- almost all altcoins are traded in Bitcoin market with enough volume as compared to other markets
- volume of bitcoin is nearly around 30% of total volume which means most of the traded funds moving according to Bitcoin that's why whole market is being affected by Bitcoin movement
But this is not always true becoz it depends on market trends,TA, FA and many other things

Also there are many ERC- 20 tokens which have market only in ethereum and these tokens are affected too by ethereum movement

I prefer you to do not rely on one thing as movement of any coin depends on large no of factors
Don't trust blindly on something, doing own research is a good habit
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage your profits in trading? on: September 29, 2018, 03:58:06 PM
Most people after getting profit lost their stability in excitement and will lost it all by panic buying and selling
Don't make your decision in hurry , if you get profit then start investing again but remember invest wisely don't forget your strategies in emotions
Also sometimes we did mistakes but got profit by luck, so in this situation try to overcome your mistakes, luck will not work everytime
Learn from experience everytime,be patience and continuesly improve yourself, don't forget your strategy, invest wisely
I hope it will be helpful for you
Keep working keep growing Wink
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good coins to buy now and hold for a long term? on: September 29, 2018, 02:25:35 PM
It is really a good decision that you are going to buy a coin for long term
Please don't make decesions in hurry for investing into any crypto project, there are so many scam projects coming day by day which creates a bad economy here
Give your time and do some good research , check everything or if you find anything wrong then leave it, remember your one wrong decesion can results into a big loss so be careful and don't invest much into one
Diversify your investment as much as possible because it is very hard to predict which one will gives good results and which won't
I hope for your success in crypto
Good luck Wink
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade Vs HODL on: September 29, 2018, 09:21:14 AM
Day trading and hodl both are profitable if you use them in right way or by using good strategy
Like most people are not able to get profit even in hodl also and same with day trading
But hodl is safe and easy job from day trading
Even if you go for day trading you can but I prefer you to start with small amount first then if you find yourself doing well you can try with more funds
If you wanted to find which is more profitable then it depends on you that how good you are doing something
I use hodl because I found myself very good in it
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH to hold now or not? on: September 29, 2018, 07:24:03 AM
Although the whole market is red, I'm very much afraid of holding ETH now. In my opinion, ETH was fluctuated to its ATH when people were more interested investing in ICO. Nowadays ICO is almost dead. That is why it has less demand. I don't think it will get another ATH soon.
What's your thoughts on it? Should I hold now?
Fluctuations in price is very common in crypto market for almost all coins
Making decisions in panic may results in big loss
If you bought something for profit then you must trust on your investment and keep hodl it until you will get good profit
Now market is not good that's why mostly 90% people are struggling from loss, A good trader always closed a trade when market is good enough, not when there is blood going on
And for ethereum it is in top crypto projects, very large community, also it has some good news for next year
So for now keep hodl is only way to get profit
I also prefer to do some research about it without doing any decisions
Thanks
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should investors trust ethereum anymore? on: September 29, 2018, 06:53:04 AM
Ethereum is best code and updated time to time by its strong core team
Ethereum has very large community which makes it very strong enough
As of today there are a lot of strong real world working projects developing on ethereum platform
Also it has new roadmap for next year
All these things concludes that ethereum is strong and trusted project
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you stomach the dips? on: September 29, 2018, 04:35:35 AM
Everyone have different plans for trading but according to me, I mostly use following strategy for trading
1. When I am interested to buy a coin then first of all i wait for some dump
2. Then I bought it with Very small amount
3. I will collect my profit  If price goes up otherwise if more dump happened I will buy more as I have enough money remaining because I bought with small amount only
4. After buying with much of my funds due to more and more dumps going on , I will change myself to hodl position
5.  I will calculate my average buying price and off course will sell all of them as soon as I will get price above my average buying price
6. Enjoy profit and a look for another trade
This technique always work fine for me and earning a lot
Thanks

Remember : I have always some backup funds for safety if anything happened bad with my investment, it helps to stay in market always
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best way to profit in cryptocurrency on: September 28, 2018, 01:42:06 PM
There is no enough profit is possible without taking risk
Risk = profit
If you take more risk then more profit is possible and vice versa
Crypto trading is very risky but also much profitable
But if you don't want to take much risk then go for bounty and airdrops, not so bad but you will get sustainable profit from them
Many people having good earning records from airdrops and bounty so I am favour of it as it is not a bad idea for earning without risk
But also you can't dream for Lambo
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Best coin for transfer funds between exchanges on: September 28, 2018, 07:34:20 AM
Bitcoin transaction fee is approximately higher on exchanges and transfer time is also too much
Also there are many alts which have lower transaction fee and fast transaction even on exchanges
But If we  search for best one to transfer our funds from one exchange to other than I suggest you to use stellar (xlm)

Reasons to use xlm :
-it is available mostly on all exchanges
-it has good volume on all exchanges as compared to that exchange total volume
-it has lower fee (0.0001$ approx) than all alts on exchanges
-it is instantly transfer in seconds even through exchanges (exchanges takes more confirmations for other alts but for xlm they takes only one confirmation mostly)

So I found it best for transfer funds between exchanges. I uses xlm always when there is instant requirement for funds on any exchange or I have to transfer small amount.

I hope this information will be helpful for people ( mostly traders and Noobs having small amount )
Please share your experiences if you uses xlm and other alts for this purpose
I also prefer to do your own research on it
Thanks
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My luck is very bad for crypto trading 😞 on: September 26, 2018, 02:53:09 PM
It is not easy to take full possible profit for any coin because we have no idea about how much it will rise
But the best possible things that you can do is to place sell orders in different ranges
Selling whole bag at one point is not good strategy imo

Also if you thinking of checking everyday price that is not possible I think but maybe you can use some price alert apps
And mostly placing orders in different range have always gives best results because it not possible to sell your coins without orders at a price where price remain only for few minutes
For example in recent days xrp touch 0.000117 btc for few minutes then go down to 0.000080 btc

BTW  I prefer to do some research about good trading strategies and trading rules
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Rules of Crypto Trading on: September 26, 2018, 05:37:29 AM
NINE RULES OF CRYPTO TRADING

1. ONLY INVEST WHAT YOU CAN LOSE

You need to have a big heart when you plan to invest in cryptocurrency as you must be in a position to digest this reality that the money spent in cryptocurrency is gone forever. This belief is going to keep you calm and would let you trade using your brain instead of your emotions. The loses do not only result from dips in the market but hacks, bugs, and government regulations remain the other important factors that can cause you harm. Therefore, you are advised to invest the money that you can afford to lose so always make a prudent decision after re-evaluating you current financial status.

2   ALWAYS PAY ATTENTION TO BITCOIN

Since all the cryptocurrencies are closely pegged with Bitcoin, therefore, Bitcoin price directly impacts that of all the altcoins. If the Bitcoin price experiences a drastic hike, the price of altcoins go down because people look to exit altcoins to harvest the profit of Bitcoin. Similarly, if the price of Bitcoin slides down, people prefer to exchange their altcoins into fiat currency just to avoid loss. Altcoins are highly likely to grow when Bitcoin shows organic hike or decay or remain stagnant.

3   DIVERSIFY YOUR INVESTMENT IN CRYPTOMARKET

Investing in one coin gives you the chance to make profit but this comes at the equal chance of loss as well. A more intelligent way of investment in the cryptomarket is to spread your investment thoroughly in more than one coin. Simply do not put all your eggs in one basket. The best way to safely capture the overall growth of cryptocurrency is to diversify and reap the benefits of growth from multiple coins.

4  GREED MUST BE AVOIDED

The greed increases as a certain coin begins to grow. Take out profit when the coin is doing good and the green candles are getting bigger and better take out some of the profit even before reaching set goal. That’s called playing safe and managing risk. Waiting for too long or succumbing to the greed of getting out at higher point, you risk losing profit you already earned or even turning that profit into a loss. Taking out profit and re-entering the market again to earn some more profit seems sensible.

5  NEVER TRUST BLINDLY

Cryptocurrency market is highly speculative, therefore, never trust blindly on others who may misguide you to invest in the market. A good investor is supposed to do his or her own research in order to take responsibility for the potential investment outcome. Information coming even from most trusted sources does not promise success so blind trust is never advised.

6  FOMO IS HARMFUL

Being greedy, investing blindly, and FOMO are the core factors that make an investor make a bid at an all-time high. It should now be very clear that if a coin is hiking quickly, it is going to correct as it is only a matter of time. Speculative pumps are almost always followed by dips. FOMO is never going to help you.

7  LONG TERM INVESTMENT

Make some investments in certain coins that you are going to hold even during the dips. Holding should be tactic for certain feasible coins and wait patiently for the right time to reap the benefit.

8  MISTAKES ARE TUTORS

Yes! Mistakes are the best teachers and you should learn from yours. Once you do not repeat them you would be well off. Mistakes are made by everyone but the reality is that if you wish to become a better trader you must learn from your mistakes and try not to repeat them.

9  USE STOP LOSES FOR ACTIVE TRADING

Always set stop loses for the coins that you are not having as your long term investment that is supposed to be held. Setting stop losses can mitigate your losses and provides you with a chance to re-enter at lower prices keeping you fresh and alive in the cryptomarket.

These are some rules which I used mostly in trading
I hope this post will be helpful for new traders as well
Please share your opinions and also share your strategy that you are using in your trading
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the dumping end? on: September 26, 2018, 04:09:26 AM
We will see huge gain in price when some powerful news will coming about crypto
But this is just a hope
So please always use stop loss and manage your investment wisely

BTW Bakt and Nasdaq coming into crypto that will be turning point IMO
Also Do your own research I prefer
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / News based trading on: September 26, 2018, 03:46:38 AM
Hi
It is very common in crypto that most coins achieve huge gain in price when there is good news comes about them
In recent days xrp got huge gain in its price after us banks adoption
Same with electroneum (etn)

What you all thinks about this type of trading
Please share your experiences
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Most trusted altcoins? on: September 25, 2018, 07:16:50 PM
Hi there are too many coins in crypto
It makes difficult to find out which one is trusted which is not
So please suggest me the name of altcoins which you will find most trusted and profitable
It helps me a lot
Thanks
19  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the Best Coins to Buy? on: September 25, 2018, 06:53:13 PM
if you wanted to invest in altcoins then remember in crypto there are too many big potential project and too many scam projects also
So it is important to not rely on anyone
A good invester always divide it's investment as it can afford any scam and loss
So I suggest you to please try to invest in high marketcap coins having strong community like eth xrp bch ltc xlm dgb Nano many more
These names are just for examples not suggestion
There is a lot of risk in low marketcap coins but it doesn't mean low market cap projects are not good project there may be
But do your own research first I prefer

If you searching for the best then remember best things are always at top
Off course if new people wanted to invest in crypto then btc is best and first option as  according to its history it always gives good return in long term investment
At last I reminded you that invest only that much which you can afford because panic selling is common in crypto
But good research by yourself about your investment can remove this problem
