Hi guisez

I know this question has been asked 1000 times but I never seem to see an option suitable for me...

I have 1 laptop and want to store a good amount of Bitcoin, how can I do this safely without worrying about then getting stolen / lost.

I have 2 brand new USB drives to store back ups of anything needed

So wizards, enlighten me?

You'll not be able to brute that password, it would take 100's of years.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Blockchain Change? on: January 14, 2014, 01:07:00 AM
Hi guys,

So, I recieved 1.5 + small change BTC to my blockchain wallet I then sent it to localbitcoins to cash out, today I logged in and my blockchain says,

Total Sent    3.0018 BTC

I know I haven't sent more than 1.50, I did send the 1.5 in sections....

First I thought someone sent me funds and somehow I got hacked but I looked at my transactions and I only see the 5 I made to localbitcoins and the one where I recieved 1.5xxx

It ended up getting picked up by a GHASH.IO mined block after missing 3-4 blocks. took around 50 mins for the first confirmation.

I ended up using LocalBitcoins, I didn't know it was so easy!

I used 2-3 sellers instead of going balls to the wall with one and got all 3 payments!
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / NO TX FEE PAID on: January 11, 2014, 01:57:47 PM
Hi, I dun goofed and did the quick send option on Blockchain.info (first time using it)

I sent 0.1 to my localbitcoin account and it didn't include a fee and I thought it would :S

Will it go though, is there a way to add a fee?

10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: UK PEOPLE! WHERE DO YOU CASH OUT / PURCHASE FROM! on: January 11, 2014, 02:46:12 AM
I'll have to take a look at the buyers on LocalBitcoins, I'll probably go with someone with good feedback.

Is there any fee's I have to pay to sell? I'd rather split it down to 100 quid transactions since UK-BT is free a nd instant!

Hello my fellow Bitcoin nerds.

I have a problem, I'm still slightly troubled on where to cash out.

I made a thread on here requesting UK Bank Transfer only and recieved 3-4 PM's from people with broken English which were obviously not from the UK and trying to scam me......

I don't really want to have to set up a LocalBitcoin selling account just to sell 1 BTC here 1 BTC there.... hassle!?!

I wouldn't mind purchasing bullion if the site was reputable and in the UK!

I dream of a site like CoinBase but like the UK..

So... where should I go if I don't want to be scammed and recieve funds in my bank account!

PM'd

What do you recommend we use as a price guide? I'm not one of those people who demand every last penny, I will shift a bit on price.

bitbargain.co.uk but they are now asking 0.2 vendor fee (was 0.1 two weeks ago) to register.
try kraken, they seem to verify quicker than most others and you can withdraw EUR or USD to a UK bank (so there will be transaction/exchange fees)

best luck

Do you know of a site where you're able to purchase bullion via BTC that is based in the UK or has a good reputation of shipping to the UK?

So annoying to exchange!
