The member called ICOethic in Bitcointalk forum reported our project due to us not using our real team photo which we explained in HERE.
They as a group went on to carry out their "responsibility" by attacking Cointroops, including defaming Cointroops as scammer (when no one was actually being scammed, including them). They cast unjustice upon us by making the moderator to give us -8 Trust, as well as all the fellow bounty hunters who participated in our projects a -2 Trust. We certainly do not mind being misunderstood and being punished (as we know this will happen for working on a project that goes against the mainstream, let alone making the ordinary people to understand and to accept us), but they should not limit/penalise fellow participants/bounty hunters for doing what they like to do in this forum without a solid ground of reason and proof of scam activities carry out by any party (note again that NOT SHOWING REAL TEAM DOESNT MEAN THAT WE ARENT DELIVERING A WORKING PROJECT). We seek for justice for ourselves by way of delivering our promises, which we did already by openly allowing beta testing on our P2P Exchange ahead of schedule.
Sad enough, haters are going to hate, we will just let them be and proof ourselves right (we do admit that we nought the team photo off Shutterstock as explained on Medium Article and in all the accusations threads). We make great effort to prove ourselves and we arent going to avoid or dismiss anything. End of the day, we just want the world to see what we do, but not what we say. Until then, let the hates win.

This has nothing to do with staying anonymous, you used pictures of other people who have nothing to do with this "project" and presented them as your team members for reasons known only to you, while on the other hand you are trying to collect millions of dollars from investors without escrow - nothing guaranties you won't run away with money as soon as you collect money. We did not steal picture of others. We bought it off websites like Shutterstock. Steal and buy has huge difference. Reason being we must have team photo so that the ICO listings sites that automatically list us without our consent will not leave us with lowest rating due to not having fullfill the TEAM Profile.

We certainly doesn’t want to give in which helps these dirty tricks grow and on the other hand doesn’t want our project to be sabotaged, we took the decision to put fake photos just for the sake of not falling for these set ups. If anyone has been following us since the the beginning, we didnt even put team profile and picture.
The reason for it (about a month or two ago) was because many ICO Listing agents/scammers list our token on their website, giving us very low rating as we do not show our team. And when asked to remove, we are demanded to pay some 5 ETH, and this is not the only incident happen so far. Having this in mind, without compromising to these people, we put on some fake pictures (yes, not denying that) just for the sake of reducing the damage bring forth by the future ICO Listing scammers.

WTF team ? Using stock image and called team. Stop it now. You are answering of accusation or promoting your project here ? Asking KYC, LOL team is totally fake and your are asking for KYC. Look like joke of the year. Please read reply properly. In short We DO NOT ask for KYC, not submitting users identity to authority, hence we need to remain anonymous ourselves. If this doesnt satisfy you, I dont know what else. Anyway, we do not expect people to not think us as scam (that is how ICO space is). Our P2P Platform is launching, P2P Exchange doesnt take deposit from users. Its Buyer and Seller dealing directly and we are escrow service. I hope you will monitor us when our beta testing is ready on 1st Sept (official launch was set on 1st Oct but we are ahead of the schedule). |
