You are pessimistic.  Angry Angry Angry

You are using 200 weeks moving average as a baseline so you can't tell me I'm pessimistic if corn went above 100K€ for a few minutes only.

Good to see 100000€ again today if only so briefly.

Spicy take

I don't really like what Saylor is doing (and now being copied by others) but I don't think he has that kind of goal, he's just being greedy.

I'm not sure I would invest in real estate right now. In fact I'm still looking for a house and aside from the fact I can't find what I want, I have more and more reservations about putting a large amount of money (not BTC) into it as I feel a krach is near.

Hello all.

I don't know about you but despite being a long time hodler corn price's swings affect me more instead of less.

Not like a jittery newbie who can sell in panic, not at all, but just my mood. I see a drop and I feel sad, I see a rise and I feel great.

I need to lose weight so I don't jump on food (or alcohol) for either scenario anymore which might contribute to it.

Some interesting thoughts…

Bitcoin’s 200-day moving average just crossed $100K for the first time.

In 2013, 2017, & 2021, Bitcoin reached 2.4x the 200-day simple moving average during its peak (according to Grok).

The average time to reach the ATH after the halving in those years was 478 days (531 if you exclude 2013).

It has been 483 days since the last halving.

This seems to suggest we will be at nearly a quarter million dollars per Bitcoin sometime around the end of September or beginning of October (removing the days after halving for 2013). Is FOMO right around the corner?

Just before my 42th bday that would be nice.

I've sold every stock and ETF I could before the Trump krach and didn't come back. Since it also crashed the dollar and I'm living in Euroland, even if I had bought the dip I would probably be no better or barely. However I still own a 6 figures euro amount of stock in my employer's company, that I can't sell. And it dropped 7% yesterday, that hurts. BTC dropped a bit, too. Feeling poor !

A lucid analysys IMHO, without the spicy talk that someone else has addicted me to.
Here are just a few snippets from an informed, valuable news article.

Weak Bitcoin Treasury Companies Will Be Crushed By Bear Market, Insider Warns

Bitcoin is homogeneous collateral, but public equities are not. Liquidity, index inclusion, and the absolute size of a balance sheet produce a “winner-take-most dynamic”

perpetual preferred equity—dividends but “no debt maturity ever”—(is) a structure that removes the most dangerous cliff

The times are good now… there will be a cycle. That’s what will separate the men from the boys

I'm also worried these companies will do more harm than good.

The only thing we can do is to keep some dry powder for when they crash the price of BTC...

Another massive airdrop coming to Bitcoin holders? This has some real Hex vibes to it. I imagine it will sell off immediately and be used by hodlers to get a little extra free Bitcoin for their stack. It’s been a while since Bitcoiners have seen a dividend going out. Are we back in 2017?

Exactly what I need.

Are they dropping existing coins or minting new ones ?

An interesting one:

The Logicians (INTP) are proud of their unique perspectives and vital intellect. They can't help but rack their brains on the mysteries of the universe, which may explain why some of the most influential philosophers and scientists of all time have been Logical. This type of personality is quite rare, but with their creativity and inventiveness, Logicians are not afraid to stand out from the crowd.

I lost interest after too many questions... is there a condensed version?  Can I get someone to finish the test for me?

It's not that long if a tad repetitive, it takes 5 minutes not 10.

I'm sure the fact you didn't finish can reveal your personality type to someone knowledgeable !

Is there any reason given for why Powell would resign ?

I only see a rumor started by the White House. If he resigns under pressure, it might do more bad than good.

I'm not necessarily arguing in favor of the dollar, and my life right now has no connexion to that currency other than indirectly through BTC (and some USDC), but we will all be better off if the USD's dominance fades gradually over many years.

Having Trump in control of the printing press could be very very bad.

Eyes full of tears. Engulfed in happiness. 7/13/25. The day I reached my goal.

Bro…. A year of 10 backwards…. Never thought reaching where I’m at now…. And it’s only just loading….

Yeah...for some reason my goals are always changing.
It's not a "number", it's a process.

Yeah me too, I thought at 100K$ I would sell some, and at 150K$ quit my job. At 100K$ I didn't sell anything and I won't quit my job if 150K is reached soon. Although I might get fired at some point because staying motivated to work for a measly salary is becoming harder and harder.

Glad to be back above 100000€ too. That took some time since the dollar kept going down.

Condolences goldkingcoiner

In the world we're in it's not always possible to be there for our elder ones, or we would never live our own lives.

My evening dinner wasn't the best last night...

I have had a bag of candy, nachos with cheese sauce and a salsa dip, 220 gram MM's bag yellows and a bag of oven baked paprika chips...

yes when i'm at the movies I go all the way

stomach talked back at me all night long though.

But most of the times i'm disappointed yet the new jurassic park wasn't to bad at all, kind of liked it.

When it comes to your stomach, you should give Jägermeister a chance - out of 56 herbs and spices, at least one will help you Wink

Until yesterday, I didn't even know there was a new Jurassic Park sequel - I was watching a bit of Bloomberg last night and for some reason they mentioned that very movie. If nothing else, I have to watch the movie because of Scarlett Johansson. Smiley

I don't think I've ever tasted this but anything "herbal" gives me "medication" vibes, I really don't enjoy them.

Of course.. you should NOT exercise and adjusting your daily diet to lose weight instead BUY lab made juice first like Ozempic with unpleseant side effects so American fat fcks can maintain an unhealthy diet.

www.medpagetoday.com/cardiology/prevention/116170

I started Mounjaro 5 weeks ago.

In France it is only prescribed by nutrition doctors and diabetes doctors. And is not covered by our health system yet for weight loss (it is for diabetes, but I'm not diabetic). So it's about 350€/month. It might get covered by next year.

I spent 4 days in the hospital to do a battery of tests before getting it, and a diet and exercice is integral to the success, I was told.

Now since the other day, all French doctors can prescribe it, but they should still link it to exercice and changing bad habits.

With that said, these drugs really lower appetite so I can understand how it will work for many people without much effort. My sister has managed to lose a lot of weight on her own without drugs, however she still has massive cravings to the point of getting very cranky about food. She's not considering these drugs but I'm sure they would help her.

In my case it's not really working so far, because my appetite sense was already screwed up, I eat because I like to, not really because I'm hungry. I could go 16 hours without eating without feeling hungry.

But the dose is progressively increased so I have good hopes, and soon I will get 3 weeks in a rehabilitation hospital, to train to cook good meals, do all kinds of sport, etc.

Already what I feel is that if I make too big of a meal I'm a bit sick, like if I had done a very big meal before. For some people that happens after half a meal. It's similar to what people feel who have had their stomach altered surgically, which is what doctors wanted to do to me the last few years, but I always pushed back.

I understand the disdain about fat people, I don't like fat people either, but the easy availability of bad foods that are addictive is an issue to consider, for some people they can consume a bit of these and be fine, for others they get addicted.

I have never put a cigarette in my mouth, maybe I could and wouldn't get addicted, or maybe I would smoke one and get at 2 packs a day in a week, who knows ?

trump attacked irans nukes

this quote is from the link above.

“ WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump said Saturday that the U.S. military struck three sites in Iran, directly joining Israel ’s effort to decapitate the country's nuclear program in a risky gambit to weaken a longtime foe amid Tehran’s threat of reprisals that could spark a wider regional conflict.

The decision to directly involve the U.S. comes after more than a week of strikes by Israel on Iran that have moved to systematically eradicate the country’s air defenses and offensive missile capabilities, while damaging its nuclear enrichment facilities. But U.S. and Israeli officials have said that American stealth bombers and a 30,000-lb. bunker buster bomb they alone can carry offered the best chance of destroying heavily-fortified sites connected to the Iranian nuclear program buried deep underground.“

So that's why. Damn.

What you say isn't false but on a liquid exchange there would be arbitrage opportunities (even easier to do than doing it between exchanges) so the prices should be aligned.

One would need to compare the price in EUR, USD, and the USD/EUR exchange rate at the same time to check.

Hello guys.

Little observation, especially for people not living in dollar land.

I have the BTC Price ticker on my phone in USD and EUR, from Kraken, side by side.

Sometimes I notice that the USD price is "random", whereas the EUR price isn't.

For example the 24h top is 107812$ and 92999€.

Have you noticed this, too ?
