This is a cock and bull story. I can't believe this story for 50 BTC reward. You claim to have participated mostly in content writing but you have a chunk of 168 activities. I can guess the number of articles you must have written, obviously more than all the pages in this forum combined... Grin Please tell this story to kindergarten kids and tell your hubby to put you on ignore  Grin
2  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin vs world economy on: June 18, 2018, 11:58:38 PM
If bitcoin has been able to go through half of 2018(apparently, most attacks at bitcoin have been launched this year), it is certainly gonna succeed. Mr. Andreas, the famous writer of "Internet of Money" puts it clearly that: "You can get your country out of bitcoin but you can't get bitcoin out of your country".
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe John McAfee is right about Bitcoin hitting $500,000 in 3 years? on: June 18, 2018, 09:36:33 PM
I don't believe entirely in so-called expert predictions. There are many factors that affect the price of bitcoin, such as FUDs, Good news , the effect of some whales who try to manipulate the price of bitcoin and so on. Demand and supply forces are the major drivers. The people in bitcoin market have more power than the experts concerning bitcoin price.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is altcoin is too riscky to invest now ? on: June 17, 2018, 11:57:52 PM
There are very good altcoins out there you can invest in. I usually love the ones that are relatively cheap so I can buy more at a vey cheap cost and hodl for a year or two or more and sell them; they are likely to increase greatly if the project is good.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strategies for minimizing losses on: June 17, 2018, 11:10:45 PM
The best strategy for minimizing losses is target setting. When you have no target to reach you tend to do overtrading and when your greed has had the best of you all you get is a sudden loss. It is best to stick to your target no matter how the price may be increasing at the time. You'll always have another buying point if you are patient enough.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: project shivom ( OMX ) speculation on: June 14, 2018, 10:32:03 PM
The price dipped too quickly. I was about to get these tokens until I realized that chunks of these tokens were given to bounty hunters. When a high percentage of tokes are  give to bounty hunters the prices are likely to dip. Most investors won't sell too low unless the project isn't promising.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your attitude to this? on: June 13, 2018, 09:33:28 PM
I think most of these altcoins are somewhat against the progress of bitcoin. Many of them want to take over as the most known and the most used cryptos but they are actually not prepared. Considering the fact that bitcoin was the first to realize the idea of blockchain and it's been near perfect as far as it's existed, it deserves every popularity and success. Altcoins should focus on developing their project and let their project speak for these coins.
8  Other / Meta / Re: Disappearing forum posts on: June 12, 2018, 11:58:34 PM
If you get notifications that your posts are "out of topic" you should reconsider the threads where you've been posting. Posts I made in Politics and Society were constantly deleted. Apparently, that section and others like the off topic section are being spammed. There is nothing new to add to the comments over there, tens of thousands of them...lol
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What service missing in cryptoworld? on: June 12, 2018, 09:41:25 PM
I think there is still little work in teaching newbies to accept cryptocurrencies. People still find bitcoin and crypto quite abstract to understand. Other forms of digital payments/systems are comparatively direct. Exchanges have to make sure they provide enough information to new users so they don't lose much in their early days.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest in BTC vs Invest in Real Estate? on: June 08, 2018, 11:54:00 PM
Starting real estates from the scratch needs some monumental efforts unlike bitcoin. You can start with as little as $100 and still have a good short at bitcoin investment. I doubt you can do same with real estate investment.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's happening to Bitcoin? on: June 08, 2018, 11:43:49 PM
More experienced people on this forum have been in the bitcoin market for a significant number of years and I believe they've seen worse. Bitcoin price is still far greater than(not anywhere near) its initial price when blockchain began. This success should tell everyone how bitcoin has been resilient and will continue to gain stability.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Reasons Why Many Families Are Feeling Extreme Financial Stress on: June 07, 2018, 09:25:27 PM
The depth margin of countries has kept increasing from the 19th century through to the 21th century. It's becoming obvious  that governments don't have every solution to the economic woes people are facing currently. We have to shift from buying liabilities to buying assets in order to start solving our own problems. Every liability comes with an extra burden that plunges the family into economic woes later.
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best time to take profit in Trading on: June 07, 2018, 07:04:09 PM
the best time to make a profit withdrawal from the trading you do is when you are able to earn more than 50% then you can make a withdrawal of profit.
Really? What if you never hit the 50% profit mark? I believe in target setting and obeying your own rules. It is also important that you quit trading immediately you hit your target, even if it is 2% for the day. You don't know how quickly the next dip may come. And you may not have the patience to wait for market to recover.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing in Bitcoin? Advantages and Disadvantages on: June 06, 2018, 10:14:58 PM
Advantages of bitcoin investment include: you get to operate and maneuver your own bitcoin account, You get to pull out your bitcoin whenever you want, you enjoy a massively cheaper transaction costs and so on. Disadvantages? Governments causing FUDs everyday may make you a jittery bitcoin holder. But you have to understand that you are part of a very important renaissance, the digital world.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What you need to know before investing in crypto on: June 06, 2018, 07:14:38 PM
Most people who are scammed don't get the time to read about what they need to know about cryptocurrencies. Others are also greedy and want excessive profit in a short time because they might have heard that crypto pays in a short time.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: How much important bitcoin for entrepreneurs? on: June 06, 2018, 05:26:29 PM
Freelancers can also benefit from this technology massively. Imagine working miles away for your superior and getting paid in bitcoin immediately your done with the work you did. This transaction also happens with so much speed that you don't have to wait for days to receive it, just seconds.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you have an expectation of bitcoin recovery from fallen? on: June 05, 2018, 11:54:53 PM
Of course! I am not a crypto pundit, neither have I been in crypto business for along time but I read the news and I see bitcoin rising up every time after a fall in price. this year won't be an exception as most investors are beginning to believe that crypto and blockchain is the next big thing.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin recovering ? on: June 03, 2018, 03:22:37 PM
It has become normal for bitcoin to fall during instances of bad news and government attacks. Because of this, it has also become usual for bitcoin price to rise after every FUD. Bitcoin is fast becoming a household name and like any currency it will definitely rise after every fall in price.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Is NOW the best time to buy or enter in bitcoin? on: June 03, 2018, 01:12:27 AM
I believe anytime a coin falls more than 20% below its peak price it become a good opportunity to by. It is likely that that coin will go back to that previous price. Bitcoin has reached a peak of more that 19K previously. It is not even half that price as of now so it is definitely the best time to buy. Even if it gets to more than half of its peak price you'd have some good profit.
