Bitcoin can be considered an investment since you are using your funds for something that is developing. However, from another point of view, you are purchasing/buying coins and then selling them. I use to call Bitcoin an investment

Yes, it is, Ethereum looks very strong, however, Bitcoin now is growing faster than Ethereum which you can see just by looking at the graphs and trends. Depends on how much you want to get from your investments. More you invest, more you will get, however, you have to always remember that you can invest all and gain profit or invest all and lose everything you have invested. I saw people who managed to gain a huge profit and they started with only 100$
