2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does bitcoin need to improve? on: June 01, 2018, 05:10:06 AM
I can clearly see that there are other cryptocurrencies that are beginning to dethrone bitcoin, showing off there quick and secured transactions, though bitcoin continues to be the king. What does bitcoin need to improve state your opinions.

Bitcoin needs to improve its Security in terms of Transactions. That's all for me.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What you need to know before investing in crypto on: May 31, 2018, 12:35:13 PM
A news from ABS-CBN, a Filipino Media and Entertainment Group.

MANILA - An investor who saw a 39,000-percent increase in his bitcoin investment warned on Monday that many cryptocurrency investment schemes right now are scams.

Emerson Fonseca, Philippine head of NEM Foundation, told ANC's Market Edge that since he started trading bitcoin 2 years ago, a lot of scams have cropped up because people don't understand cryptocurrencies.

What are your opinions?
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOW TO protect yourself from Scammers on: May 31, 2018, 06:10:25 AM
Easy as hell.
Download Metamask.
Keep your Private key and valuable informations highly-secured.
As much as possible, get a printed piece of your informations in BTC instead of storing it onto your computer.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin acceptance on: May 31, 2018, 06:00:47 AM
You can pay with Bitcoin in several stores and even restaurants here in Germany. Are we the only one who have this?  Huh

Bitcoin is absolutely accepted in several countries, in Germany, just like you said. But we can't blame other countries for not totally accepting it 'cause they thought it's illegal. Well, if you know that what you're doing is illegal, then you have to stop it.
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where does bitcoin end up this year on: May 31, 2018, 05:53:29 AM
Bitcoin is starting to climb up again. Where do you think think does it end up by the end of the quarter or eventually by the end of 2018.

Bitcoin was $7369.03 now it has reached $7491.12, I kept on predicting what will be its value by the end of the year, maybe $12,000? No one knows, though everyone can give their opinion about it.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency on: May 31, 2018, 04:10:13 AM
Bitcoin was supposed to be used as a currency, not only a form of investment. However, it's been more successful as a form of investment, a "speculative asset".

Do you guys think that this can change in the long term ?

"[Bitcoin is] unsuitable as a currency, because people are far more likely to hold it in anticipation of it appreciating in price." -- Kain Warwick

I'm pretty Satoshi will be dismayed.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have mechanism to recover stolen or lost bitcoin? on: May 31, 2018, 03:49:16 AM
We are not dealing in actual realm of transactions. We deal virtual currency peer to peer system. Once you've lost your bitcoin sorry to say no chance to get it back. Whether you like it or not it simply means we have our full responsibility to our own belongings.

Apologies, I meant in cyber. But thanks for that Smiley
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have mechanism to recover stolen or lost bitcoin? on: May 31, 2018, 03:38:39 AM
Bitcoin could not easily be stolen though, for that you need to freaking secure your private key as safe as possible in this case you will not get robbed flawlessly by some intelligent hacker no matter how smart they are the private key will be the answer for his/her decade of study to the block-chain technology to put an end to every potential victim he/she can get.

Very well said, but I think we don't any escape plans in this kind of matter 'cause we're in Surface Web, in my opinion.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you mean when you say Bitcoin is number 1 on: May 31, 2018, 03:26:03 AM
We are entering an era of multiple digital currencies, and many of them will survive. Bitcoin is certain to be one of them, but it can't be number one for every factor. Where do you think Bitcoin will stay as number 1

  • Store of value
  • Services in addition to simple money transfer
  • Convenience
  • Security
  • Investment/speculation
  • Safe transfer speed
  • Privacy
  • Freedom from globalist control
  • Other

For me, Bitcoin is number 1 in store value (ofcourse we already know that it is especially in Cryptocurrencies) and Security.
On the "Security" concept, Bitcoin is not as highly-secured as some might think, but putting security perimeters over your wallet could.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Problems: Lack of regulation creates a risky environment. on: May 31, 2018, 03:14:10 AM
One of the large problems of Bitcoin as well as the other value-based blockchain network.
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin & College students . on: May 31, 2018, 03:02:15 AM
I believe that a huge portion of the the crypto community are still young college students that don't have any necessities that need another source of income aside from their scholarships / the money they are getting from their parents .
And apart from spending their cryptos on either betting or purchasing goods/video games from online markets , many of these students didn't make plans for what they'll do with their coins in the future.
I myself have had many thoughts about hodling and launching a business as soon as i graduate with the coins in my possession , yet i'm not exactly sure what i'll be doing ..
So i'm really curious about :
- On what do you spend your coins apart than partying/gambling/paying for tuition loans ?
- Do you have any future plans for your coins if you are hodling any ?

Bitcoin and Colleges

This is an extreme help for them especially for me getting ready for my college life.
One of the few advantages of using Bitcoin is that we won't anymore have to ask for financial support from our parents because there is Bitcoin.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Does Bitcoin have mechanism to recover stolen or lost bitcoin? on: May 31, 2018, 02:53:49 AM
In case someone stole your bitcoin or you lost it, you won't be able to get it back.
Is this true?

What are your knowledges about this?
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Robbery on: May 31, 2018, 02:00:46 AM
Police in Dubai have arrested ten members of a gang who reportedly stole 7 mln AED ($1.9 mln) in an armed Bitcoin heist in Dubai on Wednesday.
http://cryptozona.ru/dubai-police-use-ai-tech-to-locate-and-arrest-gang-suspected-of-1-9-mln-armed-bitcoin-heist/

Very well that those armed robbers were arrested, even though they were only 10 members of it atleast it lessen some cancers in the world, but they didn't hid their money very well.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no built-in consumer protection? on: May 30, 2018, 03:59:43 PM
Is it not that block chain technology itself is a protection in itself? Have you gone through how block chain works?

Uh yeah, it's a public ledger of all cryptocurrency transactions.
Which allows us participants to safely keep the path of digital currency transactions without the recordkeeping,
though the record’s authenticity can be verified by the entire community using the blockchain instead of a single centralized authority.

16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more risky? Bitcoin or bank investment? on: May 30, 2018, 03:37:17 PM
Bitcoin is indeed risky. But bank investments are risky too. In our country (coz I'm not sure if this exist in other countries). When you have a large amount on your account they will call you and ask you if you want to invest, minimum of 20,000 Php (or 400 USD). They will propose some investment plans where there is a choice of low, medium, or high risk investment. When you choose the high risk there is a chance to lose or gain 100% of your investment (Medium is 75% and low is 50% if I remember it right). It doesn't make sense to me, it sounds like a scam, they will invest using your money and you don't have any control to it. That is why I like bitcoin more, coz Though it is risky and it's very volatile, you have full control on your investment.

What do you guys think?

What's more risky for me is bank investments, we can't predict and we absolutely don't know what is happening to the money we invested inside the bank itself.
'cause bank investment issues are very common worldwide, unlike in Bitcoin there are several Best Bitcoin Wallets that you could ever have, all-way secured.
17  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: What are the best bitcoin wallets? on: May 30, 2018, 03:25:37 PM
Looking for a secure place to store my bitcoins. What do you recommend? I found a few here, but looking for more feedback: http://cryptomarketmag.com/2018/01/07/best-bitcoin-wallets-2018/

Thanks!

Looking for the best bitcoin wallets?
MyEtherWallet.com is one of the finest though it's not much popular, I transfered few of my bitcoin earnings here and yeah,
When you create an account on MyEtherWallet you are generating a cryptographic set of numbers, your private key and your public key (address).
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC for taxi on: May 30, 2018, 03:16:11 PM
I wouldn't recommend it. I mean how would we pay the driver? 0.000027 BTC? Like that? Widen my horizon guys please.
Now for real, I wouldn't recommend it, there are risks that we might get whenever paying the driver, for instance, he can blackmail you
that he will do something or kill you if you will not send him much bitcoin.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin has no built-in consumer protection? on: May 30, 2018, 03:06:39 PM
Bitcoin offers no such protections? And the Transactions are Irreversible as well.

These includes the following like:
Protection from counterfeit bank notes BTC
Protection from financial surveillance BTC
Protection from identity theft BTC

What are you opinions?
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People are joking about Bitcoin on: May 30, 2018, 02:48:32 PM
Actually, I thought Bitcoin was a full joke until my friend recommended to me that BTC is not a joke and has to be taken seriously when you started to get some sorts of things or do things to it. Some people are too judgmental like they already wanna jump into conclusions without getting pre-knowledge about what a thing is, like people are joking about BTC. Those people won't see the true kingdom and legacy of BTC, not until they try it. This could lead the Legacy of Bitcoin in a harsh place if these kinds of people won't stop.
