Yes, its very hard to establish. You are correct.

Letīs think for a moment that the info was false and that these investors in fact were at 2011 and not 2010. For the price evolution index and volume I believe it is quite possible.
You as hero member here could you please tell me which tools may I find to track down old wallets? I went into Blockchain but donīt know how to properly look into this. I am not a tech guy.

Assistance would be much appreciated it.
Thank you very much.

Hi guys, good morning.
I would please need some help from those of you who have been here with the Blockchain for some years by now.

I am working on the thesis for my Postgraduate Course at Colleague. I come from Finance and I am working on how the Blockchain can add value to societies as a whole and also, in this case that I need, to individual people.

In short, very short. I have heard that many short term investors bought high quantities of BTCs in the early days of BTC (lets say 50k) and then resell it 3 or 4 months later. Very aggressive short term investment, not a buy and hold as most BTC enthusiasts probable did.

I am trying to prove that these people really existed and I need to find a wallet (or group of wallets) that contained 40k/50k in 2010 and were sold at least at 300% of its value that same year. Example: someone bought in July 2010 when BTC was $6 cents and sold it in December 2010 when it was $26 cents. Thatīs 300%, something like that. I just need to show the original address with those 50k (or group of addresses that together sum that amount) and then where that money was moved some months later (trazability?) until it was sent/sold/cashed out to somebody else.
I am not being asked to prove that they were sold, we donīt really know if they were sold to a third party or if the wallet was from the same owner and was just moving the coins. I only need to prove that it was possible and that that amount of USD in BTC really existed by that time.

I come from Finance, I donīt know how to get this information. I donīt know how to look for it with tech expertise, either. I promise to send payment to my need based on the quality of the answer. Please provide BTC address, I will send with most pleasure from my heart many bucks for helping me on this one. I will send U$D 100 for a clear help on my doubt. Itīs part of my degree, you deserve it for the time it will probably take you to help me out.

Please advise, guys. I am lost here at this point.

Thanks a lot, community.
