what's going on with middlecoin the last few days, payouts are super low, but unexchanged balance is crazy high

Look again.

I'm pointing my miners at the three best pinged pools. Of course I could point them all to the best.
If it's so that each server tends to mine different coins in different proportions, do you think I'm helping or hurting myself by diversifying. I've been quite happy with results of the main server, just wondering if I can maximize somehow by playing around.

I'd wager on average, you won't really affect your results.  But if you do, we sure as hell would like to know! Smiley

This might be getting anoying but i would also like to put my vote on fixing so that the mined coins are split even between servers.

I have been on amsterdamn these past 3 days and I have 10ms ping and have been averaging 0,4%rejects during that time. So far, its been fantastic! (im in sweden btw)
But then I look at the stats and see people with the same avg hashrates that have much much higher rejects and they still get loads more btc than me, some even twice as much.

Thanks for beta testing the beta server.

I will not come with any arguments like it not being fair because thats not the biggest issue just yet, with this problem people will start to look for patterns of what pools are the best and they will start jumping to that server and before we know it all servers are empty except one which will be crashing because of all the excess traffic.
That has to be quite a valid reason for h2o to take a look at this asap imo.

I can even say I dont mind the disconnects once in a while because with failover to the other middlecoinservers it wont matter much with a couple of minutes here or there.

I'd agree, he should work to get the beta servers up to production level.  Until he does that I'd personally consider using anything but the non-beta server a risk.  Would you not?  It could be that he didn't properly set expectations of what being a beta server actually means.

not enough...

LOL; You are either an asshole or a really good satirist Smiley

I always thought he was being sarcastic. Wink

Poe's law is a beautiful thing.  It allows me to think everyone's just really clever and not actually crazy.

I just came in to see if there was a reason why my balance today was so poor. I have one rig mining on middlecoin at about 1.7+ m/h and my payout is 0.010xxx at the moment and an unexchanged of over 0.0251xxx, This is just sad...

Really hoping for a miracle at this point tonight, I'm going to have to find another pool very soon if this becomes the norm and I certainly don't want to do that.

Looks like everyone's in the same boat.

I just don't get it. I JUST DON'T GET IT! Why do people keep complaining about the unexchanged over and over and over again?! What about it is sad? The fact that at any moment your balance could be shooting up like a rocket? You're scared that you won't get the coins from unexchanged at all if you don't get them today? I mean come on! If your payout is low for today but you have a lot of unexchanged your payout is most likely great the next day. It balances out people!

Sheesh, everyone needs to use their brains instead of the thing that you might or might not have between your legs.

Relax kid, no reason to get your panties in a massive rustle. The balance is suffering greatly today, I wanted to see why. Now take a pill and relax like a good ass kisser.

Well, but you didn't want to see why.  You hopped in and said the current situation was sad. If you read any of this thread's history, or had even a week of experience with this pool, you'd know this is almost always a good thing.  I've basically been trained to get stoked when my unexchanged goes up, because at least in the couple weeks I've been here, it's always been a kickass payout that day or the next.

We're not ass kissers if we are using historical context to say "no, you're wrong", but some of us could definitely say it nicer or more clearly.

can someone explain this?

Bank error in your favor?

Hmmm the amsterdam server and the useast server have serious issues.

A lot of disconnects on Amsterdam and a lot of rejects and stales on useast.

On us east my rejects were breaching 10% today after being ~3% normally.  I took the advice from earlier in the thread and dropped intensity down to 18, from 20.  So far so good.  Increased WU values, and rejects seem lower so far.  Worth a shot if you've never tried.

Hello, i'm kind of new to this middlecoin thing.
Now i have a problem, i have sevrals rigs connected to stratum+tcp://middlecoin.com:3333 with user as 1FMjeNh46HGJJC7oKMV4RgEMBpv3GAX97k and it worked fine.
But it's been2 day the graph of middle coin is not shoing anything and i didn't get payed.
http://www.middlecoin.com/reports/1FMjeNh46HGJJC7oKMV4RgEMBpv3GAX97k.html

But my rigs are working fine.
So what's the problem here?

So i'm the only one with that issue?

*shrug* seems that way!  I haven't seen a response from h20 in here for a while, you may want to hit him up on twitter w/your address to maybe get some traction.

Are you load balancing with another pool?  Your stats are super spiky!
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: January 29, 2014, 03:51:34 PM
yeh we are off-topic so one more question and i am off  Tongue

So All I do is Export Private Key. Then With that > Exported private Key << I do not need to keep updating the wallet.dat? In a scenario where my HDD is DEAD I grab that key from my USB with the Private key on it and use the Import private Key function and reset the blockchain + transactions.

Yup.

Quote
And what happens is that the same BTC address which was there when I exported the key and all the transactions that have ever been made to that address will appear again on the new hard drive with my new wallet?

Is this correct?

Yes.  The coins of course are not stored on your computer, they're in the chain, so if you have the private keys for them, you have them.  Depending on the client, if you create enough new addresses, you may be generating new private keys, so if you do a lot of transactions, it's worth backing up on occasion.  If you're just receiving to a single address over and over you only need to back up once.  Hell, you could just create a paper wallet and use that address as the middlecoin mining address.

I plan to buy a Powercolor 6950(400-450 KH/S) to mine on middlecoin. How much daily BTC should I expect?

Scroll to .4XX section, and have a look.

May i ask you a dump noob question?

You are telling not to use "--no-submit-stale"  im not sure how to check if i am using this. Would it be wrtitten in the cgminer.config if i do?

Hmm, yes, if you used it, then you are using it, and if you didn't then you are not using it.  It would either be on the command line or in the config, if it's not you're ok.

Quote
And while mining on your pool, I am getting a lot of notifications about " Network set to ..." "Stratum from pool detected new block"

On other pools i get almost 95% "Accepeted..." notification and only 5% the other, on your its different 95 % the notifications written above and only 5 % about accepted...

is that a problem at all?

im using the europe server with two rigs on one worker

What's your hash rate?  If it's low, this is a somewhat high difficulty pool you may get less accepted but they are of "higher value".  Ultimately, watch your balance and payouts, and if they match your expectations/calculations, you're good.  Give it a good day or two before you decide.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: January 24, 2014, 03:09:46 PM
Because I thought people would understand what I am saying , Obviously I was wrong

To be fair, it appeared like you were assuming some kind of guaranteed pay rate, and wondering why something/someone magically doesn't account for rises/falls in exchange rates.  I know you didn't mean it that way, but I saw it like that the first time I read it.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: January 23, 2014, 07:46:07 PM
Can anybody tell me how much will be the approx. payout (per day) for 4000 khps miner with middlecoin?

I'd wager it'd be similar to all the other 4MH/s miners: http://www.middlecoin.com/allusers.html

Scroll down to the 4.xx range and have an eyeful.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: January 16, 2014, 01:17:05 AM
wow great payout today.

(can't wait to read the complaints, allegations, and threats!)

h2o kidnapped the Lindbergh baby, made ASICs to kill GPU mining and puts fluoride in our drinking water...  It's just horrible.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: January 13, 2014, 04:53:53 PM
Anyone else having problems on middlecoin? My hashrate is normally around 6.5mh/s... now it's 4.9 and getting lots of rejects. None of my settings have changed.

What servers are you using?  I've had great luck with these: http://middlecoin.kobal.org/index.php/Main_Page#Stratum_servers

Basically just moved 'eu' down above 'asia', and went with that.  Hardly any rejects.

What exactly do you want to learn?  You said you have accounts on sites like Cryptsy, deposit the coin you're interested in trading, and trade it!  I'm guessing you have a specific goal in mind, what is it?
