1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what makes you trust a new altcoin? on: October 03, 2018, 03:42:29 PM
A good investigation of an ICO makes me trust in them. It is a must for everybody, who do not want to lose all their savings, to investigate the project very well. To read their whitepaper, to look at the community stats, to check the team members and to follow the product development. If everything is great, I would invest in such an ICO.

I do not trust just like that. In order to invest their investments in a new, young coin. I first analyze it very carefully. And I also conduct some kind of statistics. I read reviews and ratings. Only then do I make a decision.

Of course it is regulations regarding cryptocurrency, people don't want to get into trouble with law by buying something that is prohibited by the government. If the government give green light to crypto then I am sure a lot of people will put their money into crypto. I don't think the price volatily will scare people because that's one of the charm of crypto as a high risk high reward investment.
hi Diablesfunis, If you consider a big bank - institution in the USA -  supporting or even encourage trading with crypto currencies,
can we infer it is a first step in the legalization?

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: September 24, 2018, 03:01:56 PM
It's hard to say which coins will survive in the future, because the market is unpredictable. As long as bitcoin persists and still exists, I think all Altcoins can survive and stay there, even if some Altcoin values are very low. everything will depend on market conditions and how these conditions result in incentives to use this cryptocurrency .
bitcoin and altcoin could walk together in cryptomarket.and only qualified altcoin could be survive in market.altcoin that own blockchain and also real product could be part of this.

but not all altcoins are equally good, there are useful and necessary altcoins, and there are simply fanatics and their majority

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Can Be Done To Make Government Legalize Bitcoin on: September 17, 2018, 03:13:11 PM
Again, allow me to emphasize that bitcoin is not illegal per se. Unregulated, yes. But illegal? I doubt.

The problem lies in the government not being ready for the existence of digital currency. Who would have thought that digital cash can happen as early as 2009? No one anticipated. Moreover, no one thought that it would be possible to have a system of payment that does not require a central authority. And in this case, banks became irrelevant as they serve no intermediary purpose between user's transactions.

Then Bitcoin was designed to be permission-less. No one can restrict or impose its' usage. Here, the government becomes irrelevant. With pseudonymity in place, the government felt it is a direct threat to its sovereignty.

Perhaps it is under these impressions that Bitcoin seems to be illegal when it is not, rather, unregulated because the governments was never ready for cryptocurrency.

We suggest to inform our politicians that in a long list of non-suspicious and modern countries like the ones showed in the attached map, blockhain-based projects and then crypto-benefits is at least not banned or even welcomed, as he foresees massive oportunities for citizens and even for government agencies and bodies

I trust a new altcoin if the altcoin has enormous potential to grow and develop and many people use it. New Altcoin is certainly more interesting and makes me curious about the advantages offered.

Mostly for me, it is usually the team members behind the coin, I research them, make sure that they know what they are doing and make sure that the are actually the faces behind the coin before I invest. The product is really important but the people behind it are more important since they are the ones who can make the coin do well or make it fail

Hello there, i agree with you commenting that a key issue is TEAM experience, who are at the C-level members, CEO, COO, CIO, Head Legal, Head Finance,..

On the next importance level I would pose the importance of the CONCEPT and PRODUCT/SERVICE, as the POTENTIAL IMPACT on the sector or industry

Do u agree?

If so, please have a look at www.ephelants.io

I share with u data from Europe and Australia, of those people and countries who are getting into cryptoeconomy
Source: June 2018

The survey is reportedly conducted several times a year and takes into account gender, age and population in each country, while consumer figures are an average. The latest study, which was carried out between March 26 and April 6, 2018, compared 15 countries, with about 1,000 respondents surveyed in each.

While only 9 percent of respondents own crypto, 25 percent said they will own some in the future. The highest percent (18 percent) of crypto ownership is reported in Turkey, while the lowest (4 percent) is in Luxembourg.

Fewer than one in ten in Europe owned crypto, with similar figures in the U.S. and Australia.

The survey revealed that people in Europe who are mobile bankers are much more likely to own crypto (12 percent) than those who are not mobile bankers (4 percent).

66 percent of Europeans have heard of cryptocurrency, of which 77 percent are men and 55 percent are women; 35 percent agreed that crypto is the “future of spending online,” while 35 percent said it will increase in value in the following 12 months.

The share of awareness of crypto is equal to or exceeds 50 percent in every surveyed country, with the highest rate in Austria (79 percent) and Poland (77 percent).

In the U.S., 57 percent of respondents have heard of cryptocurrency.

1. lack of knowledge of some people about crypto currencies
2. many negative issues about crypto currencies
3. Price fluctuations that are too high and too fast so that the risk that can be experienced is very large.

We agree with BABARIAN commenting on a 2nd key issue: PRICE FLUCTUATIONS
In our startup, we are developing mechanisms for token economics to remain stable
This is a trending topic as u can see on the crypto news since April 2018 approx.
