1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin $ 1.000,00 this year on: July 01, 2018, 04:39:53 AM
Sort of has too, really, if it’s to become everyday currency. Supposed to be the silver to the crypto storage gold of bitcoin. If that’s to happen, it needs a shit tone worth of growth so people can use very small parts of a coin.

I’ve upped it to 3 litecoin now, as I’m sure it’s going to go up and above the current cost of bitcoin, and bitcoin is going to go up a lot more too. I’ll see how my bank account looks in the new year, I want 10-20 litecoin by September really, before they get too expensive
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase has no future! on: July 01, 2018, 03:58:04 AM
I love Coinbase and I think it has brought a level of accessibility and trustability previously unseen in crypto exchanges (I think Gemeni and Bitstamp are possibly the only other comparable exchanges).

However, they're going through some growing pains and need to buckle down and focus on scaling their team, infrastructure, and banking capabilities before they expand their business further.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 80% of ICOs are Scams on: June 30, 2018, 05:29:32 AM
I am in project Sharpay.io and I monitor their news, they closely interact with the community, post many news and do roadshow - I’ve even met the team on the event, they don’t have any of scam attributes
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me choose an ICO please! on: June 30, 2018, 03:18:33 AM
regarding Giftz It seems to have grown in size since you posted this. It does seem very lucrative to buy gift cards without giving away my physical address to randoms scammy websites and deal directly with Amazon. I am looking to see if anyone has actually ever bought anything on their website and been able to use it
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrency is the fastest? on: June 30, 2018, 02:29:02 AM
The fastest AND most inexpensive CryptoCurrency is Ripple. (4 second transactions costing 0.0007 USD).

Not sure why everyone is recommending random coins that don't answer the question when Ripple statistically is the best performance wise.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: War on cryptocurrency! on: June 29, 2018, 03:20:50 AM
The elite 0.1% have been ruling the world by forcing all of us to play in a game they’ve rigged to their own advantage.

Cryptocurrency is the biggest and potentially fastest redistribution of wealth the world has ever seen. The ruling class will not give up without a fight. People will be jailed, defamed, and some will literally lose their life in this war. We are talking about a significant percentage of the world’s economy here. People have been murdered for much less.

If you sell, they win. If you HODL, there is nothing they can do. They have the wealth but we have the numbers. If we choose to place our belief and a bunch of magical internet coins they don’t own, then we are robbing them of their wealth and their power over us.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: A cryptocurrency with volatility can't be used as money on: June 29, 2018, 01:31:56 AM
They're volatile because the market is still so young. When more people will start buying and actually using it then we will see normal gains and drops like 5% tops a day. But this could very well be in only 10 to 15 years...

Crypto is the future. Wether you want it or not. Wether you believe it or not.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your recommended crypto allocation? on: June 28, 2018, 03:04:22 AM
100% ether.

Markets behave in irrational ways, for a while. Your mind has a little hamster that runs furiously on its wheel attempting to rationalize the irrational behavior that you observe. The rationalization hamster produces bizarre theories like, "Bitcoin is a terrific store of value,"

On top of that, the price is a mood altering drug, it affects your perception of reality. Bitcoin price has gone down, so it seems sexy and attractive right now. Earlier in the year ether went up in price a lot, so it seemed sexy and attractive then. A rising price is influencing you on a subconscious, instinctual level. It is sending you a message that the herd is moving in that direction, and since you are a herd animal, you want to move with the herd.

Actually, if you want to make a lot of money, figure out where the herd will be a few years from now and go there today. Disclaimer: You may be eaten by predators and/or fail to reproduce if you follow this strategy.

Good luck, and have fun.
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin, the highest fall in the year 2018 on: June 28, 2018, 02:02:18 AM
I think it's because bitmain is dumping bitcoin into the market to artificially suppress the price to try to take down DPW, the company that will be releasing the Anteater in 4 weeks. They are financially weak and may not be able to withstand a long price drop. The thing has a hash rate off 17.4Tb/s and runs cooler than anything ever made. It's also indestructible for African climates.made in california. Don't know how much is gonna cost.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin future on: June 27, 2018, 01:42:20 AM
I believe ITO and altcoins have future.

Also I believe that real sector of the economy is a current trend and it will expand to ITO market in the next few years. Being a great option for small real sector companies funding and investment, ITOs will boost global economy.

ITO is a very good investment tool which will help many companies to enter the global market. For example NAgriCoin has been in development for more than 7 years and is now ready for release worldwide.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How centralized is EOS? on: June 26, 2018, 09:48:08 PM
Like many things, the discussion is entirely subjective.

If you compare EOS to a large scale meshnet, it's centralized. If you compare it to a system which relies on a single organization, it's decentralized.

The better question is whether or not the current level of (de)centralization is sufficient to accomplish the goals of a particular project. Not everything needs to be distributed across a ridiculous number of nodes. I think that the biggest argument from the "it's centralized" camp comes from the fact that the vast majority seem to think of cryptocurrency as just that, a replacement for centralized currency systems. What is best for something designed to be a currency is not going to be what is best for a utility token focusing on a different use case.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the price of ethereum dependent on bitcoin? on: June 26, 2018, 04:23:32 AM
The correlation between two assets (be it crypto or normal financial) isn't something constant.

Sometimes it exists, sometimes not.

Having said this. The last year, based on my observation, the correlation between BTC and ETH was pretty tight. When one rose, the other dropped.

For some short period of times, however, we saw both (BTC and ETH) could rise.

Might happen, that one day (when the fiat money are massively taken from crypto) we could see how both decline.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto can built my future? on: June 26, 2018, 02:14:18 AM
I simply advise you to go, baby steps, anyway, the market is in a recession so there's no hurry, we're all waiting and expecting, so research well the projects and currencies that you choose and then decide what to get into, and always have a backup plan
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Evaluate a Potential ICO on: June 25, 2018, 02:19:38 AM
Apart from the already mentioned things such as the quality of the team, the quality of the whitepaper and the potential for real world application, an investor needs to make a judgment that the project stands a very good chance of actually getting implemented, and that's very hard to work out. There are certainly lots of projects that will never be realized, and as far as possible they need to be identified and avoided. Some projects sound very good but won't get very far. Quoine's team are promoting only projects they consider bona fide, so they are doing the job for us of selecting ones they reckon are worth seriously considering, but how many of the ICOs will actually prosper cannot be known. So there is a risk in investing in any ICO. Caveat emptor: Buyer beware! I've invested in only one ICO I think, but when I saw their last recent video I realized how little the project has been developed and I concluded I've probably selected a dud. I hope I'm wrong. (Btw I'm not talking about a Quoine-backed ICO.)
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tips on how to avoid Scam ICO's? on: June 25, 2018, 01:32:46 AM
Usually developers may try to simplify or hype up their product on the announcement or website and detail the actual tech behind it on the whitepaper. However, if the whitepaper is full of buzzwords with no clear meaning, no actual tech is discussed and only high-level descriptions are given, then this is definitely a scam.

Whitepapers usually explain how the platform works both on the high-level and specifically. This often includes charts, calculations, simulations, specifications and so forth. If your project claims that it is building some sort of decentralized service or token with new features and actually provides no explanation of how it works specifically, then just close the document and walk away.

A perfect example of this is deClouds. An ICO that turned out to be a complete scam with no product whatsoever. Their whitepaper is full of nonsensical claims which fooled many less than tech-savvy users
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: nem vs cardano, who is the best on: June 24, 2018, 11:54:06 PM
I'm invested in both projects, NEM and Cardano. I at least think I have a fairly objective view point. As a supporter of both, I will play the role of the Cardano supporter without putting down NEM. NEM is far ahead of Cardano in terms of released product. However, Cardano's ambitions are much higher, their goals are very different, and the whole premise of Cardano is to take their time...
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Ripple on: June 24, 2018, 02:51:27 AM
Ripple isn’t a truly decentralized but lightning fast, Ripple has the power to improve on legacy banking systems and help streamline international money transfers, the potential is limitless, but now that the entire market is in downfall, Ripple is following the bitcoin steps in this market.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best investment right now? on: June 24, 2018, 01:02:26 AM
as we are in the altcoin marketplace I will not jump in like everyone else to say bitcoin or ethereum, I will suggest you try NEO, while you may feel that Neo is currently pretty expensive and you may have missed the boat on this one, i disagree. Neo has the potential to reach Ethereum's marketcap, and if you had the chance to pick Ethereum up at $150, you would have backed up the truck right? Neo could end up being in the same situation.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO for July 2018 on: June 23, 2018, 02:06:21 PM
i think Nafen is a ICO worth investing, here is why. Nafen is a project designed to be used as a nano-material for the industrial purposes. It is a unique crystalline material, also known as alumina nanofibers having the capability of changing the chemical and mechanical properties of various materials. Using Nafen with ceramics, concretes or polymers can increase the longevity of these materials. Therefore, Nafen leads to the reduced maintenance and usage costs.

Token Symbol: NFN

Price Per Token: 0.122 USD

When you look outside of the window of a plane, if you are high enough, you can see the curvature of the Earth. Having seen this first hand, I think it justifies the roundness of the Earth without relying on third-party info.

that's what the conspirationist want you to believe, the theory is that the plane has a predesigned window that shows you nonsense
