As a pool runner I can say The only way that happens that i know of is if the block rewards were set too high and not set automatically adjust. I thought I checked this and it was correct. What was the problem?
That's apparently what happened. Rewards were 10% higher than they should have been. It ate up all pool fees and left the reserve empty.
I lost 1.2M as well..
THat really sux, i noticed someone had huge hash power, like 75% of the hash, he would of ended up with 150% of the coins =(
Anyway those who lost coins. post your address, your pool username, how much probably you lost, and ill send you up to 25,000 to the first 10
