The process is described in detail in our Hashbon Pass White Paper on page 15 under the section "Description of the biometric verification process." However, in simple terms, the idea is that a user would be verified by licensed verification providers. Their personal information and KYC documents would then be stored and handled in accordance with GDPR & local data protection laws, putting the stored data in the user's control. After passing KYC, an NFT passport is issued and the user is now a Hashbon Pass holder. The user would then register for an account on any service, which would be completed through one click. How does that work? Well, instead of the user having to submit their documents for passing KYC procedures, the service would request the verification status from licensed verifiers, which would return information regarding whether or not the user is underage, listed on sanctions lists, or blacklists. This would let the service provider know if the user falls under their usage requirements without having to deal with identifying the client.

We're aware of how malicious the user data industry can be, as even services promising to not share your information can share your data with their "partners". These partners can be unrelated to the service you're signing up for, which means that your information has been distributed before you're even finished with the registration process. With Hashbon Pass, no information is provided to any party, as the only entity receiving any information will be the licensed verification provider.
