Major dump on LTC going on atm. Who knows, all that BTC and, better yet, Scrypt hashing power has to go somewhere.....might as well be VTR

Dev, this is a great project. I am surprised not more people support this coin. Heck, I am more surprised that Youtube and other file-sharing services have not jumped on or stole this idea. As people upload more of their videos/photos (of their cats or whatever), these companies could use "miners" and their storage space to alleviate their capital costs. Am I missing something? Who knows there might be something out there already, but I am not very up-to-date or savvy about internet stuff. Keep up the good work!!! 100% supporter here.

Just installed new wallet, sync fine until I solo mine. I think I got a block at around block 8305. It says 0.00 coins in my wallet. The time in wallet is 18:25 PST.

heh, i'm mining QB faster than ever now, the more miners leave the better for me!
cause you know, bitbar sure did awful for itself, their ANN thread only having 30 pages, lots of people hating on it.. yeah... and now it's worth 0.05921618 BTC per coin.
haters gonna hate xD
Where did you get " 0.05921618 BTC per coin" from? Is there an exchange I don't know about?

Noobs, plz stop complaining. Take your hashrate, divide by network hashrate, see what the percentage is and your chance of finding a block. Until we have a pool up and running, keep knocking on wood unless you have a server farm or control of a bot net.

Thanks tahir and Duva. That's what I did, but the command window shows busy for a few minutes, then come back with instruction errors. I am running from folder win64_sse2x2, the improved miner from the OP.

I also have FX 8350, but the avx-aes version could not even start, instruction errors. Which version did you use?

I'm solo mining, so when I find a block the coins go directly to the wallet on that pc.
OK thanks. My bad. You have a wallet for each PC. I have 1 wallet and point several PC's at it. \

I see nothing in my (Windows) miner console. Only yay!!! when it finds a block, and quickly scrolls off the screen.

How can you tell which PC found the block? For me besides catching it roll by in real time I have no idea which PC struck gold. Thanx

Hi, this is my humble suggestion for a QBIT logo. The two arrows represent the superposition of two quantum states (spin, polarization, etc.) that is the qubit. I was going to add a bra-ket notation for the wave function but it might not appeal to the masses. Or put both arrows inside a ket for entangled states.....But simplicity=elegance=mass appeal. If the community like the concept, we need a real graphics artist to redo the colors, shapes, proportions, etc....This is all I could muster from Powerpoint with my limited artistic ability

Look at it this way. While mining with GPU, let the CPU do some work rather than idle. Save those CPU coins, they might be worth something in the future. Look at Quark......
