1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Slimcoin | First Proof of Burn currency | 0.5.1 binaries | Decentralized Web on: July 21, 2018, 11:36:22 PM
I can't connect to any nodes.
Any addnodes? Can't find a block explorer with addnodes   Sad
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: June 11, 2018, 09:42:53 PM
Dash has working privacy, Monero does not.

Dash is decentralized, Monero is not.

Dash can scale on-chain, Monero requires off chain scaling.

Dash has instant confirmations, Monero does not.

Dash is self funded, Monero requires donations.

Dash is developed by professionals, Monero is developed by amateurs.

Dash has a decentralized system of governance, Monero has fluffypony.

Dash has developed many innovations, Monero hasn't even developed a decent wallet.

Dash sponsored Ben Swann, Monero sponsored Mariah Carey.

Dash has many integrations and channel partners, Monero insults and threatens everyone who doesn't adopt them.

Dash has mature community, Monero has a toxic community

Dash is the future, Monero is shit

Dash uses "masternodes" a.k.a pieces of metal that sit around doing nothing and get rewarded for it, Monero actually uses ring signatures to obscure your identity.

Dash cannot scale on chain as much as Ethereum, and neither can Monero.
Dash uses pomtsadnagrfi (my new name for masternodes) to do instant transactions, Monero does not because that's not a good idea.
Dash asks for donations, and so does Monero.
Dash is developed by a loosely-knit network of dickheads, Monero is developed by a group of professionals.
Dash has a tyranny from the developers, Monero doesn't, and shut your ass about fluffypony.
Dash has 0 innovations, Monero has a fully grown wallet, a web wallet, ~100 pools, ring signatures, and a web miner.
Who the fuck is Ben Swann and Mariah Carey?
Dash has zero integrations except web wallets, Monero is humble and waits for people to adopt it.
Dash has a community of dogs, Monero has a community of professionals.
Dash is the past, Monero is the future.

Also,
Dash has ASICS, Monero doesn't.
Dash has Bitcoin codebase and vulnerabilities, Monero doesn't.
Dash has Bitcoin protocol and vulnerabilities, Monero doesn't.
Dash has an asshole called "Lontonbit", Monero doesn't.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Credits(CRDS): CPU-only mining | Argon2d PoW - Masternodes on: June 11, 2018, 09:22:00 PM
Isn't CPU coins are prone to botnet attacks though? Have you guys thought about this and what will you do about this?

If you can get an really easy connection to a pool and can start mining it secretively without downloading anything and the user won't notice (as is the case with Monero), then yes, but Argon2d250 doesn't seem to satisfy this (yet, at least), The Cryptonight function can be easily implemented in Javascript.

CPU-Only Era maybe will come to an end,
Programmable "Future Proof" FPGA mining...

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3459858.0

supports different Algorithms, Argon2 Not yet... but is just a matter of time.

http://zetheron.com

but $5OOOusd. each.

--------------------------------------------------

I don't think FGPA is feasible (at least profitable) just yet, judging that CRDS is only about ~$0.50 at most and Argon2d is a memory-hard algorithm. But sooner or later, sooner if CRDS has a spike in market capitalization, Bitmain would get its hands on us and start manufacturing ASICs. It even made ASICs for Ethereum and Monero, two claimed "memory-hard" and "ASIC-resistant" algorithms. But hopefully later.
