Is any news about Croat? Croat live or dead?
Hello, Croat's not dead but there are some new points since 1.1.2020: - exchange STEX, where Croat is mostly traded require KYC since 1.January 2020 - nicehash removed original CryptoNight Algo from from the Hashing power market + since 1. January 2020 network difficulty is constantly rising - yesterday 17.2.2020 we touched again 4 satoshi price. According to my personal opinion it is the great oportunity to buy such a cheap Croats. - 99% of hashpower is still unknown, I personaly assume that others admins are still mining Croat as auxiliary chain beside QWC (merged mining). Sometimes they mine Bytecoin, sometimes Croat. In the past cnpool.cc produced most of the Croats and they dumped these Croats at stex.com. If You have suspicious blocks, then You need to compare "Nonce". If it is the same, then You have a proof. It is very easy. Is any news about Croat?
Hello all, the situation on the original CryptoNight algo has been dramatically changed since Electroneum (ETN), which has been significant CN player decided to kick out all loyal miners on the fly. This caused big price pressure of CN algo hashrate at the Market. It seem that we have 3 big players here: Dero, QwertyCoin and Bytecoin, while Croat is currently probably at the 4th place with hashrate about 70 MH. From the CROAT/BTC Market Size it looks that Croat is heavily dumped by single player, who is still dumping Croat with 701 amount for single trade. The price is currently 8 Satoshi. It is hard to fight against this dumper, probably the best choice is to buy. According to my opinion, it is a big oportunity, but nobody knows when we will reach the bottom. The previous bottom was 7 satoshi during the May 2019. Nice day for everyone! |

Hello all, if You compare blockchain explorer with known pools, it is clear, that CROAT is currently heavily mined on some unknown pool(s), which are not listed at http://pools.croat.community/ and https://miningpoolstats.stream/croatcoinFor long time we had about 20MH/s hashrate, now is much higher, so there is absolutely no reason to sell Your Croats so cheap, for 28 satoshi This is the right time to buy, but to calculate with price drop is according to my opinion too risky. update 8th of May 2019: The hashrate of Croat network is currently between 50-70 MH/s. Hello all!! stex.com exchange works again, but please do not forget to make deposit transaction with correct Payment ID!! So do not use AndroidAP and https://www.croatwallet.com/ for deposit to stex.com !! Also deposit history seems to be not working, but deposits to STEX accounts looks OK. Here is my temporary quick unofficial personal how-to for Windows CroatCore desktop wallet. It is also very similar for Linux wallet. 1.) prepare CroatCore desktop wallet according to http://www.croatcoin.info/croatupdate/ and locate binary files croatd.exe and simplewallet.exe 2.) within first CommandPrompt window change directory to directory where is installed Your desktop wallet. Then start croatd.exe with arguments: croatd.exe --config-file configs\croat.conf 3.) when You will see "SYNCHRONIZED OK", within second CommadPrompt window also change directory and start simplewallet.exe with arguments: simplewallet.exe --config-file configs\croat.conf 4.) generate new wallet file or open existing wallet file, then check balance with command balance 5.) make test transaction to stex.com within simplewallet (in this case 0.5 CROAT) with syntax: [wallet abcdefgh]: transfer 1 your_stex_croat_address 0.5 -p your_stex_croat_payment_id 6.) you should receive "Money successfully sent, transaction your_transaction_hash" 7.) wait for email conformation from STEX about deposit, then wait till You will see Your deposit balance change at STEX. 8.) Hello, Trading on the STEX still disabled, Light wallet and AndroidAP still not FIX-ed. But the main pools are on the FIX-ed chain, new wallets will be released in the near future. Existing wallets could be used according to recommendation from http://croatcoin.info/hardfork/The FIXED network chain with official pools has currently LOW difficulty, so owners of single Bitmain Antminer X3 (200kH/s) are able to mine about 1500 CROATs/day, while mining at network chain broken by ATTACK seems to be inactive now (have last block with height 899361 mined about 8 hours ago). Why are there no payments to the web wallet from the pool? Does www.croatwallet.com work for everyone? In recent months, Croatcoin has nice rise of the value, so it has been more interesting for attackers. Between 13-14 january 2019 51% attack has been performed agains the CROATcoin. The blockchain has been fixed, but for now, the web wallet (croatwallet.com) and Android App, is not yet synchronized with the new chain. I tried to make a transaction from AndroidAP => the coins left my wallet, but did not arrived. Of Course, after fix, they should appear again within my wallet. Croat wallet of STEX exchange is still offline. DEVs promised fix within few days, please be patient. More info http://www.croatcoin.info/hardfork/>Analyzing the "old" chain it was detected that in 2 days chain grew from block 732423 to 888000 approximately. In normal conditions, about 2 minutes per block approximately, it should have taken about 108 days to reach this block height! Which indicates that roughly it would be an unlawful appropriation of about 5,700,000 CROATS! I will try to express my opinion to this situation: The blocktime of Croat is 1minute=60 seconds, but total of 5.7M of Croats looks correct. The question is, where are these 5.7M of Croats? If they are outside of the STEX or inside already. Since no massive DUMP has been noticed on the STEX and CROAT accounts on the STEX are according to my opinion just regular valets, I hope we will have no big damage. The attackers were motivated by possible profit (which was not confirmed probably), or motivated to damage CROATcoin for unknown reason. To be immune against the attack like this one, we need to have much higher hashrate like today. Since difficulty is similar to price, it means, that price of Croat should be at least 5 eurocents and market capitalization at least 3 Milions Euro. It is hard to be immune with hashrate about 20MH.. Definitely we are on the right track. Please HOLD Your Croats! |

I would like to ask if the CATALAN Altcoin is stable in the market? We would like to hear the coins pump to its peak but sad to say after that the coins dump.
Hello, here is my opinion about the price. -January- February 2018 - 20 eurocents -Croat started to be locally exchanged for about 20 eurocents and accepted for 50 eurocents by several merchants. -March -April 2018 - 3 eurocents - Croat listed at Octaex exchange and later at Stocks.exchange (current stex.com) where the price was around 400 satoshi (0.000004 BTC = about 3 Eurocents) but started to drop. Octaex exchange stopped after several months without possibility to withdraw coins, so we lost many Croats there. -Jul-August 2018 - 1-1.5 eurocents -October - November 2018 - massive dump from 0.5 to 0.08 eurocents -Now from 27 November the price of Croat is rising from 0.08 eurocents till today's price about 0.2-0.5 eurocents. Yes, I used word PUMP for this price increase before, since price recovery of Croat was strongly in opposition to current Bitcoin price fall. I think it is still very undervalued, so for long time holder it could be very perspective (of course, it is only my personal opinion). Project seems to be rock stable without ANY chaotic decisions. The very positive thing is, according to my opinion, that Croat survived influence of current BTC fall. This shoved us that ambitions of Croat are much higher than just to be used for Bitcoin purchase. |

DIFFICULTY = PRICE. I am still thinking about the Black Tuesday for Croat which was 4th September 2018 (our all time LOW). When DUMPers without ANY sentiment to Croat took over the mining, they were able to sell 500 000 Croats even for price 4 SATOSHI (Yes 0.000 0000 04 BTC). CROAT still did not fully recovered since this day. So I realized, that one of the worst thing for the coin is, when the mining is under dumpers control. They are not willing to wait, they will simply sell immediately for ANY price. For many months I considered as support point price 150 SATOSHI for Croat. This point was broken. Some HOLDers too quick accepted the new price level without ANY fight. I hope, that the price 4 Satoshi at 4th September was only stupid try of the DUMP-er. Another possibility could be, that it was very smart manipulation of some BUYER, who is now very happy, that he can now buy Croats so cheep for whole month.
The next battle between sellers and buyers started just NOW. You can see it LIVE on stex.com (former name stocks.exchange). The buyers wants to buy CROATs for price under 60 SATOSHI, while sellers wants to return the price before 4th September 2018. Most of the Cryptonote coins were able to return back, before price drop (Sumo, Dero, Electroneum). We have the chance too. We just need, to took over the mining process of Croat. The HOLDERs should took over the mining.The miners of every other successfull cryptocoin are doing the same. MINE and HOLD. Remember, the 1st half of whole emission was finished, so value of Croat could not drop so much in any case. Everybody who is the HOLDER of CROAT invested his money, time, knowledge, effort. By these COSTs is backed value of Croat.
You all remember last winter? When early merchants accepted the price 0.50 Euro for 1 CROAT? Some even for whole bill, i.e. ski resort of Lles Cerdanya, some taxi service etc. It is for us too much to pay 0.50 Eurocent for Croat just now? It is Electroneum 1000x better project than Croat? No definitely no.
Please HOLD Your Croats. In case You are miner, You probably know when and what to do to be most successful. If You believe that price should be definitely somewhere else, where is just now, it is easy. And in case You are miner who is still DUMPing Your 2000-3000 Croats every 1-2 hours during the day for 57 Satoshi, please consider if there is any sense for such a behavior, if it is not better to do it with other coin, or please wait a little and You will be able to sell it for much better price.

Update 07.10.2018: Yesterday 24K of Croats were sold by DUMPers with price 58-59 Satoshi = 0.014 BTC = 80 Euro. It means, that 520 blocks were mined by DUMP-ers, so they mined 520 blocks from 1440. This is one of the reason of the current Croat price
There is truth in your words, but I suppose that the project is gradually starting to feel worse and worse with each passing day, but this is my personal and observation. I am an investor at the early stage of the CROAT project and regretted not selling the asset at the same stage Hello everyone, during these days we could notice incredible PUMP of CROAT coin. Electroneum has currently incredible PUMP and incredible Network hashrate about 6GH/s. Profit from 1 MH/s/day for ETN is about 0.0033BTC, while on the Nicehash is currently price about !!0.005 BTC for 1MH/s!! Whole capacity of the CN Nicehash is used for this ETN PUMP. It is artificial manipulation performed by ETN team according to my expectation. The goal could be to retrieve more miners from other coins. It is not the 1st manipulation of ETN team. We could still remember, that they were able to bought whole capacity of the Nicehash CN7 algo after switch to CN7 for several days.
Please HOLD Your Croat, do not sell it so cheap.

ETN responded, that ETN mobile mining is not affected, since ETN mobile mining is only EMULATED!!! 3) Some ASIC miners switched stratum from ETN and SUMO to Nicehash.com, because currently is more profitable to sell the hashpower to Nicehash 4) On the Nicehash there was till today's midday opportunity to make some profit from CROATs.
