Is there any practical way to take a short position against MAXcoin?

I'm planning to put that up if I can obtain and benchmark samples on reference platform(s):

I will also tabulate and post if stats are available from credible sources.

Getting the dynamic coin prices in order to calculate profitability here is turning out to be a hassle:

Does anyone have a script that they would be willing to share?
Intent is to input the Acorn or Acorn+GPU hash for an algo and return back a list of coins in profitability order.
Defaults, multiple algos, etc. to follow.
