1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did the government want to kill Bitcoin? on: July 25, 2018, 06:10:21 AM
the reason government are against bitcoin is that bitcoin will reduce corruption to the bearest minimum, with bitcoin, sidefoning and misapropriation of funds will not be possible because of the volatility nature of bitcoin. I think bitcoin is too transparent for corrupt politicians to accept as a means of transacting.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most Crypto investors are Cowards on: July 24, 2018, 08:04:30 AM
The answer is just simple, we all are cowards  Smiley. Everyone will like to wake up one day and find out that Btc has reached 50,000. All these people are scared to invest hugely in bitcoin but want to become  Crypto millionaire and Billionaire. You ask them why they are scared and they are like crypto is volatile and so on. This is the time to set the record straight make people realize what they are into. If you are scared then there is no need for you to join this amazing fraternity Smiley.
the anticipation is understandable, especially when you tend to move with the tides without indepth understanding of the market, but  on a personal note, investing now that the price is low is wisdom because selling at a future rise in price automatically skyrock you to become a millionaire, is that not why we are all in this business?
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital Money = Cashless Society on: July 24, 2018, 04:16:57 AM
in my country, trasactions are gradually creeping into digital the economy is gradually becoming cashless, its a gradual process and my country is moving with the threads, you see situations where all you need to have is your debit master card and a pos terminal or an atm mechine one can purchase and make payment without physically holding cash. Very soon the world will become a global casless society.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Politicians fear cryptocurrency because it will stop corruption. on: July 23, 2018, 03:01:09 PM
i share your view, cryptocurrency is the answer to ending the fight against corruption, with cryptocurrency, politicians will find it difficult to sidefone public funds and divert such into private account because of the decentralized nature of cryptocurrency. funds meant for execution of public projects will be well utilized for the said purpose. i think cryptocurrency is the answer to end corruption.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Wise thing to do with your savings. on: July 23, 2018, 01:57:01 PM
the best thing to do with one's savings is to identify a prospective investment and invest in it. yes there's not a profitable investment that is risk free but carefully studying the threads of such investment could give you a clue of when to make a go decision, and whatever risk may be involved in an investment is worth more than just saving such money in a bank account.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest into Bitcoin or bank on: July 22, 2018, 04:05:56 PM
I have worked to get $2000 worth of money and I am planning of investing in bitcoin but my uncle is pressuring me to save the money at bank. I have done everything to convince him but he is not comprehending to my point. Please what do i tell him again to convince him?
the banking system is not an investment, it just a means to save ones money thats all, you dont expect to get return on investment by saving your money in a bank account. Bitcoin is a good example of investment whereby your get roi on a price increment. I would rather invest in bitcoin and earn profit than to allow my money wallow away in a bank's saving account. make him understand your objectives, that you want to invest and not save, they are two different things.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency in five years! on: July 21, 2018, 09:38:09 PM
yes crypto currency is gradually creeping into the system of things and gaining prominence as the day go bye, thats a very good step, but going forward in five years time, crypto currency would have gained more ground but not to the point where we can say it has completely integrate into the system of things. the blockchain potential will be fully harness by the government, but the government will not openly welcome crypto currency in five years time.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your attitude to this? on: July 20, 2018, 10:15:18 AM
good morning and thanks for your candid opinion, but the reason why people prefer bitcoin to altcoin, same reason goes to me too is that despite the volatility of bitcoin, it has this feature of bouncing back to track after suffering a fall, this feature is rarely found in altcoins, bitcoin is a store of value, an asset, while altcoin to me is just a means to an end but not an end in itself. yes there are some altcoin that has stand the test of time and been able to stay competitive, but such coins are very rare.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Investment in Bitcoin vs Investment in Education? on: July 20, 2018, 06:49:55 AM
investment in both areas are very important, both work hand in hand. Education like they say is the bed rock of any nation, meaning an uneducated nation is a failed nation. An uneducated person may be unable to predict and invest in bitcoin, an uneducated person may not be ascertain when to and when not to invest. I think the reason why people get disappointed is that they tends to see education as a tool to achieve socio economic emancipation, but it does not always end that way and as such people tends to loose interest. education is rather a tool for self development, not neccesarily to get you a white collar job. bitcoin on its own can caterpault an individual from want to affluence, despite it volatility, it is still my most prefered investment option compared to other token. both bitcoin and education are very important investment to hold dear and invest in without comparison.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen to banks? on: July 19, 2018, 08:19:46 PM
The bank will no doubt act in order not to quickly wear out in the future, hear so much that banks count so many cryptocurrencies as the most dangerous and unfit for investment or as a means of payment, I think it is a self-defense to convince everyone not to over-react against cryptocurrency, for me it's cunning and gaining authority in every country, banks will always be there because they are so important.
well said, your analysis are factual, for sure, join them if you cant beat them and that will be the scenero when crypto finally takes center stage, the banks will have no option than to fit in to the new system of finance else risk fissling out completely from the financial business.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: The Future of Cryptocurrency on: July 19, 2018, 01:23:04 PM
cryptocurrency has a very lucrative future, i believe in the nearest future there is going to be millions of coins, i believe every person, country, province,
every company, every organisation, every project, every person can issue a token, some of the tokens will be valuable while other may not. Th future economy of blockhain and cryto currency will be huge.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Government regulation on cryptocurrency, GOOD or BAD? on: July 19, 2018, 01:43:11 AM
it a very good thing for government to step in and regulate cryptocurrency activities, that has always been the duty of government, to regulate and checkmate, in order to prevent abuse and citizens falling victims to scam and fraud. With the government's endorsement, it creat confidencein the heart of investors about cryptocurrency.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Beside Cryptocurrenices where would you invest? on: July 18, 2018, 04:09:06 PM
If i am not investing in cryptocurrency alternatively i will channel my investment to real estate, reasons been that there are lots of opportunity areas in real estate and lots of untapped potentials in the sectors. An investment in such sector will continually yield interest for it investor.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Wise thing to do with your savings. on: July 18, 2018, 06:32:32 AM
the wisest thing to do with one's saving is to invest it, i mean whats the use of one's money in a savings, current or fixed deposit account when one could invest such money in a cryptocurrency ico and get better return than any banking system's savings could accrue. it is more wise to invest than to save.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Does money make you rich? on: July 18, 2018, 04:51:12 AM
money alone doesnt make you rich, a wealthy man without proper planning will always go bankrupt, waking up every morning and hurrying to your work place doesnt make you rich, a well managed investment makes one rich, so in my own view, investment makes one rich.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How useful is bounty programs to the overall success of icos? on: July 17, 2018, 05:31:05 AM
bounty programs are very important to the overall success of any ico, because bounty programs serves as publicity and a medium to reach other prospective investors who has the finance to invest but hasnt gotten the right source to do so. Bounty programs serves as an intermediary between ico and prospectives investors through the engagement of bounty hunters.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason we pay taxes and why we should on: July 15, 2018, 05:07:16 PM
tax is a civic responsibility that every citizen that is employed should embrace. paying of tax is not debatable, non negotiable, because it  is with taxes that we are able to have and enjoy socio amenities provided by the government. the only issue is that the government should watch out not to over tax the citizens
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk? on: July 13, 2018, 09:21:28 PM
We, as physically and intellectually healthy individuals, strive and survive to achieve our dreams, establish our roles in the society and fulfill our needs and wants. But in order to do this, we are also required to be financially healthy. The lingering fact is that money is not achievable as a single candy you can buy in the store. Sometimes, people risk their lives and reputation just to get a handful. Bitcoins are not officially a currency that you can just see in a certain country, that are being utilized and used. So, is dealing with bitcoins and other things related to it also puts us in a risky gamble?
even the life we are living is risky, entrusting our hard earned money to a legal entity called bank is risky too, i mean what if the bank goes bankrupt? you see that risk is inevitable in all human dealings. conclusively i will say engaging with bitcoin puts an investor at risk, but it is more risky not to take risk.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of bitcoin in Nigeria on: July 13, 2018, 05:42:43 AM
Too bad

From statistics, just 11% of the nation knows about bitcoin or cryptocurrency at large
yes you are very correct and it is going to be very difficult to predict the future of bitcoin in nigeria.Though government policies are not against bitcoin, but it acceptability is very low, and the reasons been that there is no bitcoin publicity. The awareness about bitcoin and how it works are shallow hence potential investors are prone to scam.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think bitcoin redistributes wealth or just makes the wealthy richer? on: July 12, 2018, 09:13:22 PM
Just that... do you think there is any re-distribution effect at all due to bitcoin?
bitcoin is not a promzy scheme, hence the idea is not to redistribute wealth, but to make persons who are willings to take risk, calculated risk richer. The mindset of the investor matters alot, bitcoin doesnt make you rich over but when you take out time to study the market trends and the zeal to invest is in you then the sky is your starting point.
