I'm working on a new Avalon board and have a first prototype. I'd like to test the communication to the Avalons but the datasheet is really unclear on lots of points. Does anyone have example data to send to Avalon that will immediately return a result? I'm looking for the hex oder binary data that is sent on DATA_P and DATA_N pins.

Another questions on Avalon: In chapter 4 of the datasheet it says "When A3256Q48 get the nonce, it will return the nonce by REPORT_P and REPORT_N.". Does this mean it will return the initial nonce I sent as a confirmation that it has received it, or will it only send a nonce if it found a solution?

I'm on a project developing a new Avalon based board and have some questions about the ASIC interface. I hope to start asking these questions in 4 hours...
