Awesome work and fast reply Do you know how bonuses are computed? Are they taken from the 85mln distributed WAVES? I don't see 1J5ar3E4H4XTJhSsDgUAokKrADneDUdJUy in the blockchain: is it a valid BTC address?

Hi, WAVES ICO is scheduled in this way: 1) Apr, 12, first day => 20% bonus; 2) Apr, 13 to Apr, 30 => 10% bonus; 3) May, 1 to May, 15 => 5% bonus; 4) May 31, end of ICO.
Does anyone know the amount of BTCs collected at the end of the first three periods?
Thanks!

Despite some unpleasant things that makes Cryptsy, I consider sharing safest of all altcoins and I think it has never been hacked. Safety is the most important thing in this.
Cryptsy was one of my first crypto-exchanges, I stopped using it months ago because it was too slow. Anyway, I have seen reliability problems in virtually any exchange and I hope Cryptsy have solved its issues. What I have observed is that any coin has its own reference market in one particular exchange. I don't know why, may reflect big investors' preferences or simply people are attracted by the volume/depth of the market making it larger. In my opinion, Whitecoin has lost its reference market when Mintpal was closed. Now I'm trying to figure out how many investors are trapped in Mintpal and which exchange will host the main WC/BTC market. I'm trying to be diplomatic but Mintpal shutdown is a real pain in the ass

Thanks for the heads up...looks like a nice exchange. I agree that Mintpal really killed some awesome momentum that this community has worked hard to build. It would be nice to centralize some of the trading again to build back an active market around WC.
Yes, Mintpal have killed Whitecoin momentum and probably some Whitecoin investor (!). For example, I had some BTC funds on Mintpal only for the WC/BTC market. Now these funds are, let's say, "frozen" (most likely lost...). This was a very unfortunate circumstance. The good news is that Whitecoin funds on Mintpal was not stolen, hence they are not in the hand of some scammer as many other coins (stolen coins will be probably dumped in the near future, ~5000 BTCs included). Whitecoin has been delisted from Poloniex for low volume and it is a risk on Bittrex now (mostly because Mintpal hosted the main WC/BTC market). At least we have a new "home" on Bleutrade: an new exchange with low volumes but with great potentials. Bleutrade needs a "killer-coin" and it can compete with the major exchanges... Whitecoin has the chance to be the Bleutrade killer-coin :-)

The (temporary?) shutdown of Mintpal was an unfortunate event for Whitecoin: when Mintpal stopped working the WC/BTC market was a very active one. I would like to see Mintpal back online but in the meantime I'm personally pushing Whitecoin on new exchanges. Few days ago, Whitecoin markets have been added on Bleutrade! A new but growing exchange. I hope to see all of you on Bleutrade. For those who want to thank me, use the link below for registering on Bleutrade and PM me when you have done (You become part of the affiliate program and I want to check if it works!). Thanks. No one with sync problems? I have installed the new wallet (1.0.6). I have tried these peers http://hyp.cryptocoinexplorer.com/peerinfo but nothing. The wallet always gets stuck at block 97412. Can someone post a good peers.dat or a copy of the current blockchain? Thanks.

Everything worked for Poloniex, Bter and everyone already, so no doubts that it will work for Cryptsy too. We will ask them what's going on on their side Cheers I asked Bleutrade to add NavajoCoin to the voting list and I placed my first 100 votes. Please register and vote now! https://bleutrade.com/home/3843

Hi guys, we have one or more heavy investors at Mintpal, over 2m coins ask at 178sat and 4m coins bid at 120-121 sat. These are numbers for Top 100. Does anyone know these people?

Thanks, I put the peers on hyperstake.conf (right file name?) and I restart the sync.

I'm not able to sync the latest wallet (stuck ~70k): where I can find some peers? Thanks.

Our big problem is a lack of trust among investors and traders (that is, anyone fears to be dumped by others). We have to solve it. I propose to build up a mailing list of investors. To subscribe, one have to declare an address (or multiple ones) with a minimum number of coins in total (ie 1m). The system can validate the address(es) by asking to move a random number of coin between 0 and 1 to a donation address in a specific time frame. The subscription is valid until the coins remain untouched in the declared address(es). Each member can freely talk with others in order to build up confidence. Declared addresses, number of members and so on can be publicly available (something like http://www.richlist.eu/whitecoin). Without a minimum of confidence among "big" investors we don't go anywhere. What do you think? Would we accomplish the same thing if we (community members, large holders) identified ourselves on the richlist? Several people already have like Banger and Surfguy... Identifying yourself on the richlist does not give you any warranty this people arent going to sell some or all of the coins they own. That is the point of a mailing list: talk with other investors with a certain level of privacy to build trust. Richlist says nothing about the investors' intentions, actually it says nothing about how one person is rich (one can use multiple addresses as I do). I'm open to hear different ideas and opinions. Thanks.

Although not much volume at this time, Whitecoin remains on Bittrex to-date without removal warnings...
Delisting is bad, please keep up the coin. I cannot do it myself, otherwise you accuse me of PnDing There is a difference between trading and pumping and dumping. If I was to dump and pump it would be very obvious lol. At this level, any substantial purchase is a pump

Finally, I have installed the new wallet It looks great but I have a problem: the total is always 0. Any idea? The wallet can't handle so much coinz that I have? Hey bitaxed, we have addressed this bug and will be fixed in a minor update. Thanks for checking not sure why this occurs. But i have informed the dev team and they are going to look at it and fix it. Once they get back to me, we will compile the binaries again. My total will look amazing: I need it Thanks very much.

Wc is very good coin.Price should be min 100+ sat
Yes, but... don't put an order or you are a PnDer!
|
|
|
C'mon guys, what do you are talking about? PnD? Ok, all markets are sinking but Whitecoin at 40sat is a disgrace, it should be at least 1000sat. A buying support is not a problem, the real problem is on the selling side (lack of trust and interest not necessarily related to this particular coin). Anyway, we need volume otherwise THIS coin will be delisted from major exchanges! Some small swings at these levels is vital.
