I put --scan-time to 1 , I didnt put no submit stales, is this really needed? Or just a cosmetic feature?
My miner are leaking some work to the --failover-only pool. Is the pool having problems? My hashrate, which used to be displayed correct is now like 20% off. Is this something from my end or the pools end?
pretty much.. stales won't add to your reject count or be submitted to the server.. i mainly use to see what my actual reject rate is for optimizing settings..

So been here almost 24 hours so far. reject rate was high and a few disconnects. To be expected with a new and growing site. I like to see we are mining the newer and smaller coins. They finish blocks really fast. So instead of lowering my intensity I reduced my scan time. I had them set for scan time = 30 and expiry = 90. I have since reduced them to scan time = 10 and expiry = 60. This has reduced my rejects by alot and my accept rate has risen. So may be something to try.
i didn't think about changing those.. thanks for reminding me.. what cards / intensity are you using?? r9 270x's @ I17.. may bump it back up to I19 if all goes well..

|
|
What's up with the reject rates?? I've pointed enough miners at your pool to be the second biggest user, but some of my machines suddenly have 9,10, 12 % rejects. I'll be leaving soon if I don't hear about an answer.
that was my experience yesterday - 12+% rejects.. today between 1.5%-6%.. no credit for stales, like MC, but still high even with --no-submit-stale..

It's your last hour hashrate compared to 24 hour average.
any plans to have personal stats update more frequently, say every 30 minutes (even 15) instead of hourly or would this incur too much overhead??

Tell us what coins we are mining, and how much is unexchanged of each coin. This is why wafflepool is getting the hashrate they are, and it's only going to increase.
I would do that only if I thought that my coin-switch engine is mediocre and there is no harm in revealing what my pool is doing to get its profitability. I don't care if others think that their operational details are worthless and can be shared with everyone. I don't think this way about my operational details. I won't be discussing “tell us what coins we are mining” any more. i've been hashing with you for about 24 hours now and so far, from a profitability standpoint, it is inconclusive. i've made just about the same in the past 24 hours on clevermining.com as i did in the previous 24 hours on middlecoin.
The pool had a very rough launch and technical issues harmed profitability a lot. Most of them are fixed now, but I'm still having some technical issues that lower our profitability. I believe this is why your results are inconclusive ;-). I'm working on these issues right now. Keep up the good work. We appreciate your efforts and updates.

There's 2 identical addresses that can be found in the all user's list, but different case: 17iwDLvDwqBjMnGBAqPPpvij6Fmt6nFUCu 17iwDLvDwqBjMnGBAqPPpvij6Fmt6NFUCu
make sure the case is correct.. probably a typo..
OMG!! Your right! You're absolutely right! Many Many thanks for your help! This is all my fault! big sorry @ middlecoin! If all the money is lost now? Or could be transferred the money to the correct address? @bitter_miner i will send u a little Donation whatis your BTC Adress? thx for the offer, bro.. no need.. we've all done something like this before.. or, at least i have ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Please consider allocating at least half of your hash to hasbros.co.in as soon as possible.
I have gone and done this. I have 2 identical 2.2 MH rigs that I am splitting between hashbros and middlecoin for a head to head test. Will let it run 7 days and report back next week. Currently, hashbros is estimating my earnings at 0.008329 btc/MH/day but that is fluctuating minute by minute. Jedimstr, I respect you as an old time middlecoin hipster, whereas I'm just a pathetic noob here. You are probably right that H20 will outperform as he has in the past. But labelling any criticism at all as just whining/moaning noobspeak and we should all GTFO and STFU is sad. It won't help improve this pool. You obviously care about it because you read this thread and post almost everyday. You don't want it to be better? Considering the amount of real $$ in play here on a daily basis, it does not seem unreasonable to me to expect better uptime. Middlecoin is a million dollar business already for christ's sake. ok, ok, ok.. guilty as charged.. my bad for stirring it all up again.. i enjoy mining... just trying to participate in the discussion..

For what's it worth, hashbros' stats are hopelessly broken as well. I was testing it, seeing as middlecoin's were broken in a new and unfamiliar way.
My "earnings" figures in hashbros change randomly every time I look at it. Right now, if the reading were accurate I would be getting an income of 0.001 BTC/Mh/day. The other problem is that the pool is simply too small to mine anything substantial like LOT.
given the number of dissatisfied folks here, it won't take long to boost the pool's hash rate.. a lot of potential.. lower overall fee's, auto/manual trading option, excellent communication, actual dev interaction.. nice set of features / upcoming features.. just not worth the switch quite yet.. would definitely switch if i had some real MH/s to throw around.. sacrifice payout to support the new kid?? hmmm.. i know, i know.. gtfo.. stfu.. looks like a viable alternative is finally on the way, at any rate.. Third time's a charm? Look at the history of [Suspicious link removed] and Wafflepool... now Hashbros.... Go ahead and join them ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) They all end up with 2/3 to 1/2 the profit we see on Middlecoin (I know I've trialed both [Suspicious link removed] and Wafflepool and multipool and others....always leaving some hashpower on Middlecoin and always ending up putting full power back on Middlecoin again and again... since August 2013). They may have nice interfaces and stats and other features....but they don't have that creative trading accumen that H20 has implemented, whether private trades or some exchange noone knows about, when all exchanges have been down and we end up getting quadruple payout leaving other pools with stuck Cryptsy exchanges and lower payouts. I'd much rather he focus on that side of things. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) +1 I have found this to be 100% correct. I also did it without moaning like a bitch in this thread. Let the malcontents go. Like us they will come back (as long as their hurt pride does not get in the way). Some people like to dig their holes a bit too deep I guess. you've been around for quite a while, my friend.. i trust your judgement - not questioning that aspect.. nothing wrong with a little healthy competition.. could drive middlecoin to become more interactive with it's customers and/or address concerns of others in this community.. i welcome the new pools and sincerely hope one of them will bring about as much profit as middlecoin someday.. it's not a bitch, man.. it's just an opinion.. i do agree.. this is officially a dead horse..

just curious, but 110v or 240v?? i'm assuming 240v but from your home or do you rent business space?? been crunching numbers lately.. wanted to add a 240v breaker box for my servers and then mining came along.. i'm fine up to 200A - was going to allocate 50A for starters.. keep reminding the wife not to plug the vacuum into room with "all the computer crap".. ups protected, but she just keeps bringing it all down.. the whole breaker thing is too much ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I own my own business so I have my farm setup there at my building. Already have 600 amp 3-Phase power to my facility so I just added twin 30A 240v breakers for the farm. Sized each breaker to handle 5 rigs (each with four 280xs). Only running 8 rigs currently. The heat output sucks so im getting quotes for A/C systems. Will need them if we want to expand. i actually found your pic's.. very nice.. got some nice power toys in there.. very jealous ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) i can imagine.. the heats getting pretty bad now with cards maxed all day - only a ceiling fan to push some air out.. i really can't add anything meaningful without a small a/c unit in the room and/or ventilation, and more power.. i have 32 sata drives running in 2 servers, 4 systems for tv viewing, switches and the normal crap.. only low-power nvidia cards, 1-2 years old.. no mining investment to date.. $8-$12/day on average - $25.00 yesterday.. have to stop mining on the nvidia cards next month if i want them to last.. they run way too hot.. that's good to know.. i was planning on 2-3 systems per breaker to leave some room, but may just bump that up.. depends on costs and what i find laying around the old man's garage.. thanks for that..

Not to keep jumping you guy's little, lets say "disagreement", but I sure as hell treat this more of a business than a hobby. I clear over $250/day on average (yesterday was NOT average ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ) here at Middlecoin and have already made enough mining LTC the last 12 months to pay for all my equipment and for even more farm buildout. No friggin hobby dollar amounts here... just curious, but 110v or 240v?? i'm assuming 240v but from your home or do you rent business space?? been crunching numbers lately.. wanted to add a 240v breaker box for my servers and then mining came along.. i'm fine up to 200A - was going to allocate 50A for starters.. keep reminding the wife not to plug the vacuum into room with "all the computer crap".. ups protected, but she just keeps bringing it all down.. the whole breaker thing is too much ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

payout just came through ... can we freak out now ?
sure..
|
|
|
Same issue,
Had ~.06 in unexchanged.... dropped to .015 and only .017 went into balance!
so suddenly lost a lot....
don't freak out.. looks like it's just from payout and stats not updating to reflect..

Way too much work. I want another mh I zip tie two more cards onto one of the racks.
Blah blah, include a quote from the guy writing code to mine with CPUs. Oops.
i didn't write code for cpu mining, but it does add 50KH/s.. it's temporary, just to get enough to cash-out from another pool.. kinda be nice to be able to centrally manage that rack, remotely, like an admin.. bamt may have it, but i'm windows.. i didn't build new rigs, i retrofitted what i already have.. I use cg remote. And you really need to run Linux with racks of headless miners. I can solve problems in seconds instead of having to deal with windows issues. I now have the same for windows.. It takes seconds to manage.. No issues.. I'm not going to change my HTPC's over to Linux just to mine on a better OS and no longer have TV.. I use what I got.. The sw runs on linux, too.. I have 9u left in my rack to expand next month.. They will be Linux dedicated..
