1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why market is down and What to Expect on: June 18, 2018, 04:03:23 PM
Last year at this time BTC was hovering around $2500+/- with steady upward momentum before exploding around November.
I'm hoping it does the same thing this year because it's trending similarly. The only issue I'm having is whether or not to buy now or see if it drops more.
I'm on the fence. Maybe this year it hovers around $6500+/- and explodes again? I can only dream it hits $50K.
To buy now and HODL or wait a few more weeks to see if prices drop some more? THAT is the question!

I am a content creator on youtube, my goal of a career on youtube is the balance between money and hobby. My biggest challenge in a youtube career is consistency in content creation. I once violated copyright, and my youtube channel was hit by a strike that kept my 1 month advertising earnings unpaid.

Thanks for your response @Jendral22
Finding balance with work and life is hard, and so is turning a hobby into a money-making venture. But, as the old saying goes, if you choose a job that you love you'll never work a day in your life. Sorry to hear about the 1-month advertising earnings deferment. Mind if I ask about the copyright violation?  Was it music or photos and did you know if the material being used was copyright protected? Was it clearly marked as such or was it something that you may have done a google or wiki search for and thought it was okay to use?

By attracting the better people through your attitude. Generally, check on your language, appearance and mind set. Act as if you belong with them, till it comes easy.

I think this is my favorite answer so far! ::Thumbs Up::
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: newbie question for Bounty signature on: June 13, 2018, 08:32:04 PM
i just wonder if you do the 1st and 2nd week and you got the stakes. Then you don't do the rest of the week but you don't remove the avatar or the signature do you still going to get those stakes?
I think it depends on the rules of specific bounty campaign.

In many cases, bounty managers clearly require that your signature must be retained until the end of the token sale period, removing the signature before that time will lead to disqualification. Then, if you remove signature, you're probably won't get any stake at all.

But, as you mentioned, you've already got stakes for 2 weeks, and if there's no stipulation otherwise, I guess you're safe with those stakes.

I think this is the best answer so far!
Definitely check the bounty rules and reach out to the manager. If the rules aren't that specific you may be able to argue your case and get your stakes back. I've also found that newbie accounts don't usually get as many points for signature bounties because they don't have the following or reputation of older, more established accounts. Personally, and as a newbie, I will probably stick to my own signature and look for bounties that require tasks like following social media and writing blog posts. I wish I knew a second language for those translation bounties!
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where are all the best and reliable ICOs listed? on: June 13, 2018, 08:18:34 PM
I am a newbie and wonder if there are any reliable ICO listing websites that list the more reliable and the best ICOs out there?  I thought ICObench is a good place to start with, but some say that it's BS...

You can try to check out these sites for ICO listings:
https://icobench.com/icos
https://www.coinschedule.com/
https://icowatchlist.com/

Remember that just because they are listed doesn't mean the ICO is reliable or "the best". They've just gone through the process of being verified by that particular site. There are a lot more listing sites and more are being developed and launched every day.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How i start earning crypto? on: June 13, 2018, 08:12:00 PM
Hello there! I’m a newby here, it seems to me a bit complicated to start earning crypto and also another problem I'm facing to submit the report. I was register for an bounty campaign but i lost the post because there is so many post everyday coming. Thanks in advance.

I'm probably repeating what a lot of others have said already but if you have NO crypto and want to earn some, look for jobs that pay in crypto. Check out bounties (but do your due diligence in finding legit businesses who launch ICOs and bounty programs). I know people who do crypto faucets but it's time consuming and the payout is very low. If you've got stuff for sale, try posting on craigslist or ebay and state that you accept crypto. Be specific with what tokens you want to accept. They are all not equal (especially in value).
7  Other / Off-topic / Questions for content creators on: June 13, 2018, 03:25:16 PM
As a content creator, whether you are an illustrator, photographer, or writer, what are some of your biggest challenges you face in your chosen field?
Do you share your content online for personal satisfaction or for professional reasons?
Have you ever been the victim of a copyright violation where someone stole your written material, design or photographs?
If so, what course of action did you take, if any?

I hope it's okay to post these questions here as I'm looking to gather material for a future blog post. Thanks!
8  Other / Off-topic / Re: how to be positive on: June 13, 2018, 03:12:51 PM
how to remain positive in times of difficult situations where there is very little hope for positivity???

Staying positive is all about mindset. You think it, then you do it.
You know those old sayings, "Turn lemons into lemonade" and "Turn that frown upside down"
Difficult times happen. Catastrophic things happen. Sometimes bad things happen to good people.
It's a choice to give up, but it's also a choice to keep trying and find the good thing hidden within the mess.
