Merry Christmas everyone!

sixSpeedLS1, so, who will be a new dev? Btw, if people will just seat and wait, while i trying to resurrect BCT, then this coin will slowly die... I forked the wallet on github. Feel free to add any feedback, etc. I'll be working on adding some command line options.

BitcoinNational, who is a current dev of BCT?
@whitesand77 I hope is willing to take on the role of dev. Anyone is free to create a BCT website. If we rebrand I think we should keep the BCT name just focus on a new direction or functional use for BCT. There can be more than one website too. Yeah, I'll do the dev work.

I think the only way "whales" would give coins away is for bounties to move the coin forward. But who has a plan to move it forward?
I thought you are the one who said several times you'll take over as dev. Now it seems you don't have any plan to move it forward? I'm just confused.. Sorry, i think I use the term "dev" a little different than others. I'm offering my programming experience to update the wallet, etc.

I'll take over
Great! a coin without an active dev is dead. It would be good to get someone to take over. Are you serious? If you are, please let us know what is your plan to take it over. Any new plan to promote this coin or still develop it for charity? I would like to tell you that I have all the answers but I don't. For now I will stick to what I know. I have 15 years experience developing software and would have no problem supporting BCT as a dev.

so can pywallet dump private keys?

python NPW_0.0.1a5.py
What are you running it on? Windows? Linux?
I got it to run but I didn't realize it doesn't support my wallet. How does one go about supporting a different coin/wallet? What do you want to do? (dump?import?) You can use the old pywallet, or you can wait for the next version of NPW to be released Ok, I need to dump ~9000 private keys and then import them into another wallet. This is what happened. I mined around 9,000 blocks of a coin and decided to move them to another wallet. When I tried to send all the coins the wallet created a HUGE transaction and they now sit unconfirmed. I'm assuming it's because the transaction is too large. My wallet file is around 68MB. I didn't realize when you mine there is a private key generated per "mined" transaction. Can pywallet do this? I don't feel like using the console window to manually dump each key. Specially when the wallet is unresponsive for a couple minutes then lets to do something for a few seconds at a time. I transfer mined coins more often and in smaller chunks now. LOL =)

Dev, where are we on anything?
R.I.P BCT ... SHA256 is the way.... With some of the largest mining farms in China... No, I don't like SHA256 for that reason alone. did you think China will start mining BCT coin?? .... Well, nice to meet you guys, see you in other altcoin ann. If there were ASIC for it, yeah. But there isn't. Why would these with those farms decide to mine BCT? He thinks "BCT" is the best altcoin of the world..... and is just another "altcoin" more in the game .. (and dead). You would too if you had 10% of the market.

chane algo to sha256, it will be better
Any reasoning behind this? It would require an fork and that isn't so easy to make everyone change their source code and clients on such unpopular coin. To make it more "popular", "open for all".... sha3 have limited users/miners. And don't forget the pool flaw where clients can spoof their actual hashing power. I believe the majority of the dumpers are guilty of exploiting this flaw when there were BCT pools.
