Full PoS, OASISnode 75% and Proof of Stake 25% of block reward OASIS is the emerging base layer for NFT’s on an evolving user-created asset network (UCAN) governed by OASIS node operators
Inside the OASIS you’ll find an ever-growing community, utilizing a decentralized governance structure to decide how the protocol evolves by decisions and proposals from holders of XOS, voted upon by those that secure the network via OASIS nodes.
The User Created Asset Network (UCAN) will allow you to create and destroy NFT’s (Non-Fungible Tokens) the way you see fit.
Created a unique piece of art? An audio clip? An animation? All three in one? 'Compose' it. Trade it. Sell it. Distribute it. Decide to make a collection even more rare? Burn it. Or, 'Dispose' it & receive XOS back to do it all over again.
It’s simple . . . if you have an idea, a suggestion, or a desire to see something implemented, get the support of the community and participate in the growth of OASIS.
We envision a future, together in the OASIS. Phase Three begins July 15th, 2021 with the genesis of v3.0.0 (Leap) a new and highly upgraded blockchain with the integration of the ability to store assets on-chain that are created by a user locking XOS into a created asset.
Holders of XOS mined and rewarded from the initial genesis chain of OASIS in received a 1:1 swap of their coins via snapshot and private key importation from the old blockchain into the new.
The next release will provide users the ability to compose and dispose of NFT assets as well as transfer them to other OASIS users. Additional infrastructure will also be released at that time to enable a fully operational user created asset network (UCAN).
Phase Three continues now, with you. 
Block time is every 60 seconds, though this may vary slightly depending on network conditions. This also means that the maximum time you’d have to wait for a transaction to go through, is approximately 60 seconds. 
Difficulty is retargeted every block, meaning that rewards are distributed consistently, with rewards being given out every 50 to 70 seconds depending on the network connections.
OASIS has a decentralized system of governance to manage, fund, maintain and expand OASIS. In doing so approved proposals are able to be funded with XOS Super Blocks! Algorithm: Xevan was used to premine the initial coins, XOS is fully PoS.

OASIS has surpassed Block #900,000 and is ~150,300 Blocks away from its 2 year anniversary & first reduction in block rewards which will decrease from 0.3 XOS to 0.2 per block for the next four year cycle. Just a reminder, we have a number of projects and new features/services we are working on bringing to the OASIS Community, and we need your help. The Development Fund now holds 12,130 OASIS and the remaining funds are slated for a burn event to be scheduled very soon, and proposals are activated. We have completed a test proposal and 67% of nodes submitted votes, a very strong level of support. OASIS is presently in final testing the Governance system, with 20 hours remaining ( http://oasis.mn.zone/proposals) before the close of the test of the Governance System, with ~60% of Masternodes having submitted their vote. The month of April will see the first official Governance Proposal submission ability by the community to direct the future of OASIS. OASIS is currently trading on both Swiftex and AltMarkets, as well as OTC ability on MCT+, all found in the OP of this thread. Almost 80% of Masternodes have updated to v2.10, and the remaining users will need to be updated before Block 40200 when the network will enforce connection for wallets on Protocol 70912 moving forward. We would like to take a few moments here to thank the entire OASIS Community. You've supported the direction, and placed your continued trust in our working to create something with the project after all the ups and downs over the last year, through the takeover, the swap, and the larger crypto industry-wide downturn. OASIS is nowrounding the bend, and starting to come into it's own. We truly appreciate you, and we are excited to share what comes next.
We are going to open with some overview of where things are going for Q1 and Q2, then we will introduce you to the new members of the team.
Above you will see the new logo and theme direction v2.0.0 will be headed in, including a completely new website and update of all media going forward for OASIS.
The first year of OASIS was one of establishing the network strength, and getting OASIS coins distributed while utilizing the Masternode system to supportand strengthen that network. At this point, we are part of quite a resilient collective of nodes around the world. There have been multiple hosting services as well as exchanges to support the trade of OASIS on the open market, as well as OTC buys between users.
The second year of the OASIS network will see a multitude of codebase updates and network expansion (Q1), followed by a Roadmap (Q2) that will be based upon the votes placed by Masternode operators. From there we will release our Whitepaper (TBA). We have opened a voting opportunity in the Official Chat Channel and the vast majority of operators have placed public votes to enable governance moving forward. It has always been my desire to be responsible in stewardship allowing OASIS to be decentralized and not controlled by one person steering the ship, but a community deciding on how best to grow and continue into the future.
In this direction, We have collected some wonderful individuals with skills that will help move in that direction, then let the network as a whole make the decisionsthat carry the project forward after established stability has been achieved. The Original project lead (edoane) is no longer with us, and the blockchain developerhe enlisted (remapper) has also moved onto other projects. We thank them for their time and for starting this for us all to participate in. When the community took the lead, (pesh) made sure to get OASIS through the trying time and troubles with great success. His needs to shift focus landed OASIS in my (BrandonJames) hands to find out what next was the direction to take.
To prevent any one person from having majority decision making power, We have split up the tasks to individuals with their own skills, so there is now a blockchain developer (coinminingpool.org), a web developer (cryptowho), a governance system dev (mn.zone_dev), a graphics designer (ICanHazCrypto), a social platform moderator (pesh), and myself (BrandonJames) the team leader to usher OASIS into this new phase.
We have received zero financial gain from OASIS to date, moving forward, we have decided to supply the team members with 10 Masternodes worth of collateral each, and this has been discussed with prior leadership, as well as long-term community members. 50% of the funding will be submitted today to the addresses below, the other 50% when we have successfully completed the release of OASIS v2.0.0
We will then send the remaining development fund to the burn address to decrease the centralized nature of those development coins, allowing future financing to be derived from the governance system of proposals and superblock funding budgets. The OASIS Community Donation Fund will be decided upon with the decision of the OASIS Community,be it a campaign, give away or other project prior to the first proposals.

Moving forward the new code updates and improvements will roll out with an updated wallet that includes the new graphics and theme updates. The website, and all social media will also include these new visual improvements (Bitcointalk, Twitter, Telegram/Discord) as well as CoinGecko and other Masternode information portals. Listing on CoinMarketCap as well as multiple exchanges is also slated to be completed in this time period. OASIS is already listed on Blockfolio, and we are working with them to add additional features other Top 250 projects employ.

The OASIS community has not been able to contact the member managing the website, so OASIS will be migrating to a new website TBD to be released as Q1 2019 update and management steps are made, the OP will be updated at that time as well.
