~~~~~ Brian Kelly, the founder, and CEO of an investment firm focused on digital currencies BKCM LLC, believes that Ethereum will be a better investment than Bitcoin. Brian Kelly, from his point of view, points out the following reasons: 👉1. Ethereum Futures Contracts First, Kelly believes that Ethereal futures contracts or ETH Futures will soon be launched, as the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has officially decided that the Ether is not a security. This action has removed the biggest obstacle for Ethereum – The 2nd ranked coin in market capitalization to institutional investment. However, what Kelly does not mention is that launching the Future Ethereum could more likely to pull down the price of this second-largest cryptocurrency rather than help it. Since the launch of the Bitcoin futures contract, Bitcoin’s price has plummeted and many blamed the use of investment tools to manipulate the market for this decline. 👉 2. Augur Secondly, Kelly pointed out that the Augur platform was one of the main reasons for Ethereum's rapid growth when compared to Bitcoin. As described by the analyst, " It’s a decentralized prediction market. What’s interesting about this [is that] this will probably be one of the biggest decentralized apps on top of Ethereum. If [augur] doesn’t slow the system down, that can generally be a positive for Ethereum." 👉 3. Proof-of-Stake ProtocolFinally, Ethereum's upgrade from hardware mining to software mining will drive the continued growth of the cryptocurrency. Ethereum creator - Vitalik Buterin, also recently explained that Ethereum's scalability improvements to the layer solutions will multiply one to another - improving the number of users that the system can handle, which increase the processing capacity of up to 1 million transactions per second. However, this refers to the fact that Bitcoin and Ethereum are not fully competitive. Yes, because Ethereum is a real quality project with large-scale use cases and practical implications, it is a real cryptocurrancy gem at the end. I strongly believe that the platform is very strong with one of the highest developer groups in the world. Most ICOs prefer Ethereum.
Ethereum is so popular because this is the second crypto introduce in the market and aside from that it holds the highest number of investors world wide next to bitcoin. |

Although the whole market is red, I'm very much afraid of holding ETH now. In my opinion, ETH was fluctuated to its ATH when people were more interested investing in ICO. Nowadays ICO is almost dead. That is why it has less demand. I don't think it will get another ATH soon.
What's your thoughts on it? Should I hold now?
We must ensure that our decision in our cryptocurrency investment is well planned to ensure that we are earning because the market for now is continuously and the price of ETH today is at $250 which is too cheap for this year and still we don't know yet what happen on the next day. |

Now is a good time to sell some alternative coins, because the price went up. But I think this is the beginning of a strong growth, so I decided to keep some of the coins.
You did the right decision because selling crypto in cheap price is not a good idea so we should be careful on the crypto that we invested and make sure that it is handled by a good team to make it successful just to ensure that the coins will move to a higher price increase. |

May be for some people they think that Ethereum is dying because it has a very price due to huge market fluctuation but we should not be worried about the low price of ethereum because its just normal fluctuation and i think it will recover soon.

I think that 95% of crypto coins and tokens won't survive and the reason is that a crypto coin in order to survive and get value it has to be accepted as a way of payment for purchase goods or services.
Very few coins will manage to do it at the end of the day and of course these coins will get enormous value.
The only thing you have to do is to find out which coins will enter the market of real currencies.
Not all the coin will be able to survive especially when bitcoin's value surged up to $50k or more because most of these shitcoins wont have a value greater than 1satoshi,it means the lowercap coins would be the first ones to die eventually those shitcoins who doesnt have any good use in our daily lives will follow. We all know that there are crypto coins that are not playing very well and some are now in zero value, so i do believe that crypto will survive but i think not all coins because the plstforms of some projects are not supported by investors. |

I still don't find answer with logical reason. Can anyone give answer with additional reason, like tell us those coin features and new developments project. Maybe some one can give more explanation about : Why NEO, etc. are good for long term investments? Why Etherium and Why Bitcoin? In my opinion, now is the right time to invest in top 10 CMC for Hold or long term investments. Some people are choosing new coins dor their investment but for me i think Ethereum and Bitcoin is still the best crypto currency to invest because aside from its popularity the two crypto's are the most invested coins by most of people world wide. |

Of course, you hold ETH but you can't buy at $1000 and hold for year, find the entry first after take a prompt analysis.
Agree, we can really hold altcoins even more years you like but we should also check the updates if theres a changes on the wallet so that we can transfer our funds when the wallet tried to make changes, most of the time wallet changes due to its security features. |

I think now is the time. just the rate is not very high and just can be bought. and then there will be an opportunity to sell it profitable.

Many community members have been claiming lately that altcoins are going to die or at least that 90% of altcoins are doomed. I tend to agree with them that there are many coins and tokens that are pointless and won't survive. Another cathegory are alts with solid foundations but won't manage to fight with their competitors as naturally there are numerous projects with same visions. But if you trust the project you invested in, there is no reason to change your mind just because someone says many altcoins won't succeed. Do your research and trust only your own judgement, because many ALTCOINS ARE HERE TO STAY!
It's not true Altcoins is still very strong for now even it encounters huge fluctuation of its prices so many times already and might be the reason also why many people keep on buying altcoins and supported ICOs project because of their belief. |

My first coin was given to me about 4 months ago and it's 15000 Nollycoin but it's so sad that until now not yet listed in exchange market and some people are saying that it becomes shitcoin now because the team are not active. |

Right now is a tough time for anybody holding tokens. The HODL strategies put into effect a mere 3 months ago have cost portfolios a huge % loss in value...
I myself have witnessed thousands upon thousands in value destruction. Hrmmm, but what to do now?
Although I have watched, slowly and painfully, tokens descend in value equivalent to a brand new Cadillac down to a value where I cant even sell them for a used 1980s Ford where the bumper falls off...
Instead, I opted to HODL… But the question remains...
Should one effectively Sell-Out and take that broke down ford valuation now?
OR.
Does one still HODL and dream of Lambos full of Women and cocaine?
I think this is the best strategy that we can do for now while crypto currency market is still very weak is to continue to hold our cypto investment so the coins will not dump and we have a big chance that the coins will rise in soonest period of time. |

During last time do a lot of bounties and get some different price. its near 17 numbers and all price according to the market no more then 350 USD for all... What you should recommend to do with this coins?
I think the best thing to do with our Altcoins while the market price is to cheap is to hold and wait for the right time to sell because selling today while the market is too weak may keep us risk of our investment capital. |

Don't get fooled by those little bounce ups. I'd rather call them little bull traps and it definately is not a sign of recovered market. When this happens, prices will go up astronomicaly.
Sometimes people are very happy seeing small improvements of crypto prices and they are campaigning people to start investing in crypto but sad to say that even some are now investing the prices market prices still continue to drops. |

Hi all,
I am a relative newbie but have remained pretty calm during the difficult last week or so. The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.

In my owm opinion i think the best strategy that we apply when the cryptocurrency market is in trouble is to hold our crypto investing while waiting for the market to recover because it may risk our investment capital if we force to sell in very low price. |

Do you sell because of the rise/deep in the market, or do you sell because you actually needed the money and not because of the deep/rise of the price, or you're the type that just jumps in pick some profits and jump out?
I am a long term holder of altcoins. I sell my tokens (both alts and bitcoin) when I am broke, and when I need some money. I don't sell because there is a deep in the market, I sell because I need to. So, what about you?
Most people are selling their coins its because they are afraid that the crypto market will continue to drops its value and they can not recover anymore their investment capital. |
