Hello bitcoin experts --

I have a three year old Armory wallet, which I forgot about until last year's bitcoin manipulations...

I reinstalled it on my Ubuntu computer, downloaded the btcoin blockchain, and used my paper backup (root id) to bring my Armory wallet back.  The bitcoin that I left in it three years ago is still there, and I can see all of my transactions, but I had encrypted everything.

I'm now trying to move what is in my Armory wallet to another bitcoin address, and Armory is asking me for the passcode.  I wrote it down years ago, and I have the paper that I wrote it down on, but it's not working so my chits are sitting there in my Armory wallet with nowhere to go.

I welcome any free advice on how to figure my Armory passcode from the root id (brute force, change one character at a time, ... is _not_ helpful), and I am willing to pay a (flat) fee to anyone capable of figuring my passcode out for me, if

1)  there is some way to verify your trustworthiness, and
2)  if you screw me out of my entire wallet, there is some pathway to retribution for me.

I would like to spend my bitcoin change before Independence Day, so will be rabidly checking in this week for any advice.

tx
