I mistakenly purchased an amazon giftcard from Gyft.com for $25 and claimed it onto Amazon.com. After filling up my cart & ready to ship button I soon realized that being from Canada I should have used the Giftcard code on Amazon.ca because I live in Canada. Now I personally think that is incredibly stupid - the fact that you can use the same login on any amazon site but when you hit "GiftCard Balance" Each Country Specific domain will show a different balance but I'm just a wee little man in Canada.
