Even if this ridiculous story is true, it just proves the point that he has a hidden agenda, of trying to influence btc price downward. No good samaratin would willy nilly waste money or precious time just for the benefit of protecting all us bitcoin bulls/enthusiasts/believers, whatever you want to call us, from our helpless selves. i bought this account from the original bulltard idiot who owned it, because he had lost all his money and was desperate! Really. I don't actually know the exact reason he sold it, but I wouldn't say it's a stretch of the imagination that he lost a lot on this market and needed the cash. My consortium has purchased several accounts from bullish posters in the past several months.. it's much easier to use an established account than starting a new one.

i have been having same issues as most where the wallet doesnt open back up when closed...i found that if i delete the log files it works...i noticed the debug.log file that is generated has an incorrect time stamp...it is logging 1 hour behind realtime...i moved my system clock back 1 hour to match and everything works fine
Lol, you might solveed the problem for devs:) Whoa what? We'll try this- thanks. The log can get big no doubt... I wonder if that has a major impact on loading. Seems these reports only come from windows thus far. If any mac users have seen this please let us know! Mac wallet is working perfectly. Minus the ability to encrypt the wallet. Have You tried encrypt it via console? Have not, just was referring to GUI interface and fields not capturing text input.

For those having problems opening wallet on a mac (wallet doesn't even open, icon just bounces once in dock and nothing happens), try typing this in console.
xattr -d -r com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Syscoin-Qt.app
For some reason, some wallets are quarantined when downloaded through Safari. This removes the quarantine of the app and it should open right up. Had this problem with a few other coin wallets.

Anyone else having problems encrypting their new mac wallet? Can select the fields, but doesn't let you type anything into the fields.
Yup mine too. Glad to see not just me. Beautiful wallet though.

ive lost several days of mining transferring from coinex to cryptsy
i wondering how many bitcoins are lost forever, ive lost too many zetas so far. Doing my part for deflation, i guess.
Cryptsy is about the worst exchange I've dealt with. Surprised people still use them so much but they do have the volume.. Mintpal and bter are both worlds better in terms of speed and reliability. Mintpal has just shown how reliable it is the last few days. It kept going offline during the BC spike and it was actually their failure that burst the BC bubble. It was just like the second gox of april. BC was a bubble waiting to be burst without the help of any exchange..

True. This is interesting though.. https://twitter.com/crazy_cryptoHe initially called twitter post bs, but then sent DM to @cmshindi with a link to grab his IP address and says it does in fact show Kenya IP. Of course, that can be faked too. Either way, I'm still holding. Break or bust. It was all free money made from getting in early on doge anyway.

Thats a good question as I'm running 10.9.2 myself & it runs fine for me. I have it open right now. It also runs on other machines I've tested that are also on 10.9.2 Do you only have the 1 mac to test on? Are there any others besides you that have this issue? pcmerc~ http://kryptochaos.comUnfortunately only have one mac to test it on, my other computer is a pc and has absolutely no problems with the wallet. I read previously a few users having the same issue as me earlier on in the posts, all had recent operating system, etc. I hope they are still following and read this fix.

The pump is comming 0.00000003 632111990.88987255 18.96335973 0.00000002 358596812.58102113 7.17193625 0.00000001 950689551.91462081 9.50689543 Who's buying all the cheap ECC? Me.) Couple of things.. The mac wallet still doesn't work, same problems as a few other posters where the wallet doesn't even open. I hope when the mac 1.3 version is released, it fixes this. I know it doesn't effect everyone, but this needs to be addressed if you don't want to put off potential investors. Other thing, not meaning to criticize, but the wallet just looks generic. Especially the image in the app, "excellent crypto coin", "effective computing coin", "you name it", etc. I've invested in doge and recently mintcoin, for which I'm transferring most of my holdings to this coin hoping for potential. Their wallet is a prime example of a professional look. It's clean and to the point. If text is to be shared, it should have a specific purpose, the coins purpose; not just to add clutter to make it looks like something is said. Sometimes words aren't necessary, and if they are used, they need to have impact. I usually just follow threads and don't post but I see this as a much needed fix if the coin is to be taken seriously. Logically, if you're having a problem with something complaining with no relevant data is useless to finding a solution. How about any errors that you see. OS version Hardware ect... Are you testing it on one system or many? more details please pcmerc~ http://kryptochaos.comMacbook Air, 1.7ghz Intel Core i7, OS X 10.9.2. No errors seen. Icon bounces once and fails to do anything, or present anything on display showing reason for failure. It just fails to open, even to the initial loading screen. I tried opening directly from the application folder icon as well, and fails to load as well. System software is up-to-date. When opening the console it shows "denied since it was quarantined by PluginProcess and created without user consent, qtn-flags was 0x00000046". Following this are numerous "attempting to SIGCONT to PID #xxx failed". I've googled and researched this and it seems the files needs to be un-quarantined from the terminal. I've tried this but to no avail, still continues showing quarantined when trying to open. Even if I can find a workaround using a command line, the question is why is it presenting this error and making this necessary in the first place? UPDATE (Working Fix): Found another variation on a command to un-quarantine the application: xattr -d -r com.apple.quarantine /Applications/ECCoin-Qt.app But I am still curious as to why this is necessary. Most users wouldn't think to look for this..
