1  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Suggest me the best mining rig on my situation on: December 29, 2022, 10:17:04 PM
I have 2 l3+, set with hiveos at 504mh/s they absorb 660w, at the socket they will be 10% more or so.

Fans with ambient temperatures between 15 and 20 degrees c are always between 30 and 50%, rarely more.

Same here. I have 2 L3++, both mining in my apartment and they don't do so much noise.

It is same same as with the R4s I have. If you use a bitmain PSU, the PSU is louder than the ASIC
Man, you even had me commenting on this.. ) Pls, don't delude yourself or whoever.. Nearly ANY ASIC (of standard type with 12 mm fan(s)) is TOO LOUD to be in a living apartment/building! I hope yours asics aren't in your living room ).. So, don't place them like that, you need a separate room for them at least, and/or fight the noise. Otherwise they'll make harm to your/your homies/neighbours health! BTW, you're totally right about PSU, but bitmain's PSU is usually better than some alt PSUs with super little diameter fans and super high RPM, beware!

Hello! Every of my RX 580 8Gb drop in hashrate by ~3 Mh on epochs over ~380 on 5.1c. Windows, drivers 19.20. Is it considered normal?? And if yes, will it be fixed??
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Has anyone tried more than 6 GPUs with as GIGABYTE H110-D3A motheroboard? on: October 22, 2019, 08:05:10 PM
I'm using this motherboard with two 1-to-4 PCI-E multipliers put in the x1 slots for 12 cards in total. Works flawlessly with no additional bios tweaks besides enabling mining mode. You must convert your windows install to GPT in order to avoid error code 43, though. Linux should work out of the box with 6+ cards.
I'm getting BSODs after connecting 9th GPU with the same hardware on win10 1903 and 1703 and "dag fix" driver.. Sad Though after the BSOD and auto-reboot Win10 somehow loads.. with 8 GPUs visible, probably some bypass feature. From the info I've dug yet, I'm not sure whose issue is this..
Thus, can you please tell your windows version and build (from 'winver' command) and video driver version and which exactly slots are the mults in?

... True. Actually, what You see in WattTool as memory voltage is MINIMAL GPU CORE VOLTAGE FOR THIS MEM FREQ. So if You set:
GPU 1120 @ 850mV
MEM 2050@1000 mV

You will get a GPU voltage of 1000mV.

Hello! Thank you so much for this explanation!!! But now I have questions:
1. So, is it an error in WattTool (and OverdriveNtool)?
2. Does it apply to Polaris Bios Editor(s) also???
3. In the later posts I've read that "You can't lower the memory voltage." Then why in all tools there are memory voltage table?
4. What table actually change WattTool (overdriveNtool) and Afterburner, is it changed inside GPU(maybe, via driver) or in some driver software config which driver uses to make settings in the GPU, whatever?
Please, explain more detailed or point me to the info. Thanks again!

Windows 10 1803. AtiFlash 2.77 didn't work. No errors at start. But in the event viewer it's error on driver that AtiFlash use for work.
It's atidgllk.sys
On latest 1803 this driver can't be loaded by AtiFlash.
I have this error with that driver on Windows 7 64bit 7601 with AtiWinFlash 2.84.. And it hangs after the message that flashing is ok (sometimes it even doesn't appear). But! Somehow the flashing works! I just have to reboot via power or reset button. And just one time today it even didn't hang!!  Huh So, does it mean that this driver isn't needed to flash? I think I'll try AtiWinFlash 2.77 today..
Update: my bad, that is just a 32bit driver and thus is blocked.
