3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to gain income from crypto 1k$/month on: July 01, 2018, 03:32:48 PM
I think it depends a lot if you´re talking about today $ or in 5 years.

I still have to learn about bounties and am trying to take part in the first ones given my newbie status,
but you can already do a bit with faucets: it may seem like a waste of time if you think in today`s dollar or if you can already take part of advanced bounty campaign.

If you count that with investing 1 hour of your time per day, you can make in BTC/ETH or LET the equivalent of 30 to 50$ a month. This may sound ridiculous if you cash it out today. But if you strongly believe in cryptocurrencies and potential financial crisis to come in the next 24 months, then it may not be ridicilous. Lets say BTC hits 100 k$ by 2020, then your investment of 1h per day on faucets made now, will have brought you between 600 and 1000$ a month.

Dear community, what do you think about this scenario ? (not taking into account inflation)

Hello,

I have a hard time figuring something :
do hardware wallets like Ledger Nano S or KeepKey are able to store tokens, like ERC20?
If not, what is the best way to store/secure these tokens?
Thank you.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to $5,900.... on: June 29, 2018, 03:57:45 PM
Honestly, I think the low prices can drive some new people or existing holders to reinforce their portfolio.

for example, I got really into the cryptocurrency topic end of last year of course when big publicity was made around it. I didnt buy then, given the high prices. Waited for the correction and here I am.

Just look at the exchanges every day, I think it shows quite a dynamic.

Hello everyone,

Sorry if this question is dumb, but I'm pretty new here. I registered on Faucethub today as a user.
And though I understand its utility of listing faucets and provide quality information about it, I dont understand why I would send the earning I m getting in faucets (lets say cointiply for example) to faucethub micro wallet, since 90% of the faucets can send them directly to my standard wallet.

Is there something that I am missing?  Huh

Thank you for your help.
There are few reasons why services like Faucethub are needed.
Microwallets help a lot to faucet owners. With Faucethub API payments are sent automatically, while if faucet owner paying direct to wallet, he have to send payments manually and it' unnecessary extra work. And also, faucet owner don't have to pay transaction fees when payments sent to Faucethub, because it's off-chain transaction.
Faucet users don't have to claim coins few months to reach payment treshold on every single faucet. When earnings from all faucets are sent to Faucethub you can reach payment treshold faster. And it helps to avoid scams. Many faucets which have big payout treshold and payments direct to wallet just don't pay when user request withdrawal.

Thanks a lot for the explanation. I understand it well now. It legitimates the faucets by listing them and also facilitates payment. I didnt see these advantages, which are really helpful if you play quite a number of faucets.
