I guess everyone could be a panic seller one time or another before he or she learns how to minimize their loss in turbulent conditions. After that they will be able to resist panic selling by taking careful steps to prevent any situation like that, IMHO.

I have seen some people whose coins were stolen and I won't recommend keeping your Bitcoin other than in a hw wallet. Ledger Nano S is my favorite.

IMO, the worst underlying factors here are disinformation and lack of awareness.

I also do agree with those who say that bitcoin is stronger than any criticism because bitcoin has real value while destructive criticism doesn't and never will. And yes, I don't believe destructive criticism is capable of doing any harm to btc.
