Hello there.
Hypothetically speaking, what if BTC was the world’s leading currency during the Covid pandemic? How would it affect the financial world? We can’t print more BTC, so how would people get more money? Alt-coins? What would the circumstances be like? BTC has a fixed supply.

Coinbase employees here?
LOL. Coinbase is in it fro profit. Why would any one of them lurk here? They give a shit about crypto. Why you dont buy on Kraken? Kraken have a lot employees lurking on crypto subbredits and answer questions very fast. At the moment, I can’t. I’ll probably switch to Binance after this. I’ve got a Kraken account too, but they have halted or will halt trading for XRP. |

So recently, $2000 worth of XRP that I bought have gone missing from my portfolio. No, my account has not been compromised as I can see who signs in. Yes, I was told specifically through an email by Coinbase to keep my funds in Coinbase; “Your access to XRP wallets will remain available for deposit and withdrawal functionality, and Coinbase remains the safest place to hold your XRP.” Yet, they keep beating around the bush as to where my funds are.
So far, I’ve contacted them twice, and all they say is “Coinbase will continue to monitor legal developments relayed to XRP moving forward.” It’s like a robot keeps copy and pasting the same message without even reading what I’ve asked....and they don’t answer phone calls! For anyone thinking of saying it’s my fault...it really isn’t. When they give you their word that it’s ok to keep your XRP on Coinbase (especially since they’re FDIC insured), then it’s really out of my control.
What type of BS is this...I’m losing out on money. Anyone here work with Coinbase?
You will never find the coinbase employees here and what you should do to create a post on coinbase reddit. https://www.reddit.com/r/CoinBase/So many people were also creating complaints about their funds on coinbase reddit. Have you tried to open your withdrawal history? maybe you are missing something from there. Thanks. Just made one. |

You should have played safe once Coinbase announced that they are going to suspend deposit/withdrawal. I've say it's a bad move on your part not to take your XRP or buy more in that platform. Now they have total control of your funds, so let this be a lesson to you.
And the only one that can really help you out is to contact their support and tell them your situation. I don't know if you can get back your money or your XRP though. In any case, good luck to you.
They are FDIC insured for this sort of thing, so getting my money back shouldn’t be an issue. I just want to know if someone else has had this problem. It’s not like my account was hacked either; I hold a good amount of Ethereum and XLM on Coinbase too. Also, why the hell is this one on me? I have an email from Coinbase that says, word for word, “Coinbase remains the safest place to hold your XRP.” So, definitely not my fault if they reassure their customers like this and advocate holding your XRP on Coinbase. |

Hmm, weird, I don't know if you are aware of this: Coinbase will suspend trading in XRP on January 19 In light of the SEC’s lawsuit against Ripple Labs, Inc, we have made the decision to suspend the XRP trading pairs on our platform. Trading will move into limit only starting December 28, 2020 at 2:30 PM PST, and will be fully suspended on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 10 a.m. Pacific Standard Time*. We will provide additional updates, if any, through the Coinbase Support Twitter account, including if there are any changes to timing.
The trading suspension will not affect customers’ access to XRP wallets which will remain available for deposit and withdraw functionality after the trading suspension. I know you are aware of this but you still have your XRP there, supposedly you withdraw it for more safety. I'm sure if that trading suspension will affect your portfolio but that seems possible if they will make changes or they will totally delist XRP on their platform then you can never see XRP from there. Anyway, I hope some members here can make a post also if they have the same experience. Only you can do for now is to raise a complaint to the support team and I'm sure you will get a reply and their explanation as well. Yeah I’m hoping a member here has had the same issue and been able to fix it. |

Hello there peeps. I know that this problem will be solved by Coinbase, but I want to know why my XRP has gone missing from my portfolio on Coinbase pro. I purchased $2000 of it, so it’s not something I can ignore. Do you guys know where it could have gone or if Coinbase put it in their cold storage?

Hello there. As you may know, alt season is about to take place. Usually, as seen by past trends, there is a major correction in the price of bitcoin when the alts explode. When that correction happens, do the prices of the alts also fall before shooting up?

When SEC will be winning the lawsuit and that will be the end for ripple. All of XRP holders will be dumping their XRP and more non US based exchange sites will be taking the same decision as huobi. that will be a disaster for ripple and especially for its executies as they will not able to dump their premined coins again. Wait...do you not realize what it means for all the alt coins if ripple loses this lawsuit? It can mean the end for many other altcoins like ethereum. I personally am optimistic about XRP. |
