Any chance of getting this listed at Poloniex or Bitrex?
Maybe if we start a community. Many coins were dead back to life, so why not make this. We'd need to get listed on a popular exchange if this coin is going to regain life. Even a semi-popular exchange would be better than nothing.

So what can we do to get this coin his life back?
As I said, trading will resume once cryptorush is back up, so the coin isn't dead. Trading is... sort of dead. Any advertisement or promotion would be a bonus for the coin. If anyone with a credible /r/dogecoin account, they could ask for help there, or really anywhere on reddit's cryptocurrency subreddits.

Speaking of problems when renting hashpower - I'm noticing that If I set a minimal price via Nicehash when it switches back and forth it usually causes one of the gridseeds to stop hashing.
the way nicehash does minimal price is you specify it in the password field, so if the price is too low it comes back "authentication failed" and then moves to the next failover pool. We can all agree that isn't ideal, but it also shouldn't make a miner stop hashing. I think it has more to do with the failover implementation in sandor's miner so I'm going to try and gather more info and post over in that thread, I was just curious if anyone else had seen this.
I'm curious how you calculate the minimum price.

all I get is page not found
If you have an android phone download Fing > Open Fing > hit refresh > look for Raspberry Pi Foundation > use that IP address + /minera EDIT: Didn't read this page. Glad you got it working.

How can you tell autotune is finished?
How do you save those freqs?
1. Enable logging and debug, look at the log to see when autotune is finished. If you see anything that looks like this auto-tune is still working: 1@4 925MHz: Got nonce cce16c5e, Hash <= Htarget! (0x81603880) 78.3 KH/s 2. Save frequencies(the pencil) is right next to the refresh button in 'Miner details'
|
|
|
If I power off my pi or restart it will I need to run anything in SSH or will Minera automatically start on boot?
EDIT: Thanks

|
Is 24 hours really enough for auto-tune to do its work? I thought it could take a while to figure out the optimal clocks.

Just be patient guys and gals. Cryptorush is almost back up so trading will resume!

Seems most of you have already found out but yes…. please now update! Should now be on version 1.4.5 for your CONTROLA. This is for BLADE, MINI and ATLANTIS. We have now added more frequency options. (Magic number for BLADE is 838) Advanced settings section giving individual clock speed control. New drop down menu for easy selection of clock speed. Now comes with per "Miner" control. Good Luck! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I love the improvements! I've thought of a few features I'd love to see added: - Implementation of Sandor111's(Siklon on GitHub) auto-tuning cgminer: https://github.com/siklon/cpuminer-gc3355
- Graphs for hashrate, shares, HW errors etc
- An average of hashrate reported by the pool
- Downtime per pool
- The ability to set x hours mining a pool before disabling said pool
- Notifications for new updates
- Temperatures? I don't know if it's possible but it would be a great feature

The problem is that we're only on two exchanges, one of which has been offline for a while. The other problem is that people dumped so much into 1 satoshi that there's little chance of it ever rising. RSC / DOGE was starting to get going but then cryptorush went offline. EDIT: Lets get some more votes on Coinpod: http://coinpod.net/coins/list

Will there be an update for the OpenSSL security flaw?

This coin needs a revamp. Change the name of the coin, Cleanup redo the main page, change the slogan, change the logo, get a better website, change hash algo, bounty's for designers and promoters. Just try things out with this coin, dev, since it cannot go any worse than how its going atm. Good Luck!
I agree. We need a more catchy name and block halving is coming soon so the algo could be changed then. We could also use a gambling site or a more popular exchange and a faucet as well.

Hey guys, newbie here. Anyone know whats up with all the pools being down? I have a few million even only mining at 40 kh/s from the past few days, I could give out some on popular image boards but not if the pools are all down with backend issues :/
rsc.vkter.com is working fine.

I got a response from QoinPro. RSC has been added to a hidden list of coins to be added to QoinPro's faucets. Email their support team at support@qoinpro.com for a vote. If we get on QoinPro I'm sure we'll have a bunch of new miners. If you're going to sign up at QoinPro please use the referral name thames!

I have a question about this whole thing. Right now, Foxcoin is on Poloniex and their features look more promising. Their difficulty for mining is at 0.5 and the value is set at 47 satoshi and climbing right now. Why should I stay on this coin when other coins are just as easy to mine and have potential?
Legitimate question.
Because Foxcoin have 240 coin per block, and dama have 200.000 coin per block for now... 1.000.000 block reward for RSC sory... For now, i'm on RSC and damacoin... Sorry guys It's okay. I think I'm going to mine half and half now - switching between Fox and RSC day and night. I have enough RSC to get me a good profit right now if I hold onto them and I'm earning 30 million a day. But Fox looks more promising when it comes to the features, value, and bigger community - and I can still make at least 250 thousand a day. 90.000 block already for Fox and 25.000 for RSH. I hope Rsc commity grows up in the few days because Rsc is not dead yet but maybe in one or two week. Grow up guys I believe persistency is key with our situation. I trust the key will get more attention and we get more miners. We need to get the word out like crazy, talk about features to add, sell at higher satoshis (Go for 10 satoshi on BTC trade - seems like a popular choice,) and buy out the cheap coins quick so the list is populated with higher prices. This will work if we keep at it. I bought up all the 1 liteoshi the other day. It's back to 213 million RSC. The only way this coin is going to gain any value is to get people to cancel their 1 satoshi 1 liteoshi sell orders.

Mining is up to 94MH!!!! Keep up the promotion guys! It would be great to see some of you pull your 1 satoshi/liteoshi sell orders so we can increase the value of this coin now that there's more interest in this coin.
Yeah, it's even jumped to 115. That's pretty good so far, especially considering where it was at earlier. I have earned over 4 million RSC so far, and I put a couple hundred thousand for sale at a slightly higher cost on Crypto Rush. Right now, .00000003 and .00000004 LTC per RSC is what I'm selling at. We should try and crowd the list there with higher values so it registers as a more valuable coin. Would that work? Also, I'm really hoping there's future potential with this coin. I'm spreading the word as much as I can right now. So far, got another 5 miners interested myself with RSC. I have no idea if that would work. I'll probably put a few million into 3 and 4 liteoshi though. Another option is selling for dogecoin. It seems to be more active, but obviously selling low will only hurt RSC.

I've added a 1 million RSC giveaway at http://ccgiveaways.com/ just waiting for approval. EDIT: Giveaway is live EDIT 2: Still haven't received the address list to dispense coins EDIT 3: Not sure what happened but the giveaway isn't showing up in my account and there's no support email anywhere on the site. EDIT 4: Finally found the post for the site here on bitcointalk. I PM'ed the poster about the issue. I'll edit this post again once I've received a response. EDIT 5: Payments have gone out!

I've contacted QoinPro about adding RSC to their faucets. Please head over to qoinpro.com and send them an email asking to add RSC, and if you decide to sign up for this passive faucet I'd appreciate you using thames as a referral name. Also consider telling them you'd like to donate some of your RSC to the faucet if it's added. I'll keep you guys updated on my conversation with QoinPro.
