I've been mining solo with a 6870 all night and did not find anything, so probably not good. There is already too much hash power in it imo.
I've also been trying to join the pool but as with many pools they don't send me any confirmation mail so I cannot join -.-
Look for confirmation mail in spam folder.

Is there any sense for solo mining with one 7950? How many hours it should take to find block?

I was thinking about this earlier, does anyone know how hot GPUs run mining bitcoin? If that runs cooler I would tend to think the extra power draw and heat is because scrypt pretty much rewrites the entire ram available as fast as possible over and over again, whereas Bitcoin/Darkcoin would only use a small amount of ram.
Curiosity got the better of me... below are some test results for 2 x HD7950. Power is measured at the wall. Idle power is 210W. darkcoinhashrate: 3.80Mh/s temps: 52,57 power: 415W bitcoinhashrate: 1.21 Gh/s temps: 69,76 power: 680W litecoinhashrate: 1.34Mh/s temps: 73,81 power: 740W This may not be a valid comparison because I don't know how to optimize settings for bitcoin. All I did was fiddle with the intensity setting. Does 605Mh/s for each HD7950 sound reasonable? What config do you use for darkcoin?

I want to recommend you using pool http://usde.coinium.org I found it after big trouble with poolerino and some others. Big traffic jam there, or something else caused, that I had much lower hashrate. This pool looks very nice - decent design, statistics and quick response ( I am in EU). But there are not enough miners. We find 1 block/hour, which is not too bad, but it could be better. So please, join me and others there. Poolerino has too much hashpower for this coin and also lots of issues. ps. I am not in any connection with pool owner, and I mine there only for few hours at this moment, so I can not say anything about its longterm performance. I have used http://usde.coinium.org , they are good. Another good pool is http://usde.steadymining.com/Been using them with one of my rigs, all good. I have been mining at coinium for the last 24 hours, all stable. I came from steadymining which was also good, but growing to big (over 51% in times). I joined the pool because it was small, which can give you potential big pay-outs when hitting a bonus block. Yesterday afternoon the pool hit a 20.000 block and I got 2.000 from it with my 500 khash/s. Yesterday evening the pool hit another 20.000 block, which gave me 'only' 650 coins due to the pool growing. So I do hope the pool does not grow too big . I mined at http://usde.coinium.org 24 hours but received less then 50% of estimate. WTF???

If you're not mining Fedoracoin now i'd do it - the rewards halve in just over 1500 blocks!! Then this coin will be 50% HARDER to acquire by mining! Mining here more then half an hour but do not see any rewards. What's wrong?
