1  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where to invest now? on: July 20, 2014, 07:23:13 PM
Hi everyone!

I'm announcing a new Dice site soon. I first started a 50/50 card guess game back in May 2013. I then upgraded a few things, including adding an Invest option in November 2013.

You can check those threads to see I've never scammed anyone. My sites got positive feedback, but I didn't realize people really wanted Dice games. Now that Just-Dice has closed (my inspiration for adding an Invest option) I've decided to try once again, this time with a Dice site.

The best feature will be the investment structure. In a nutshell it's possible for someone investing .1 BTC to earn the same as someone investing 1 BTC, and profits are assessed daily, so people don't have to leave long-term investment funds on site if they don't want to.

Should be announcing soon Smiley

I think Everydice destroyed any chances of new dice sites having an invest feature. Unless doog comes back, another site will have to prove its credibility and worth. Any ideas on how this can be done? Huh I think that is the million dollar question.

I expect my new site to start off slowly, but as mentioned I do have a gaming history here which should provide some trust. My goal is to become as large as JD. Right now the biggest Dice site is PrimeDice, but they won't offer an invest option.

Sounds like a very good idea! The market is wide open for that now that JD is down as long as you have the needed trust. When do you expect to launch?
2  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★★★ MEMs LIST of GAMBLING SITES ★★★ on: July 19, 2014, 09:27:46 PM
Hey,

It would be a great help if you guys took a look at CryptoBounty and BitHit. The first one is an online gambling game with no randomly-generated winning number. Actually, players have the power to determine their own winning odds. And the second one is a classic Slot Machine, attractive and with one of the lowest House Edges available at the moment.

Could you please add them to your future updated list, if that's not too much trouble?

Thank you so much and I hope you have a lot of fun playing on both sites  Grin Grin!

Read above comments on how mem has not been online recently. Also in past pages he stated he has been busy and could not keep up with all the work load. Some newer sites have been prioritised over ones that have been waiting for awhile as he has been accepting donations. If he continues to update this list I would suggest agreeing upon a donation suitable to get you on the list with approval. Hope this helps.  Smiley

My offer is still on the table, if any gambling sites want to help build this?

Will be tough to promote but would be an interesting project as the gambling section here is such a side note. Are you a developer? What would you need from their side?

Well it would be nice to have some partners in this, to split cost, promotion and decisions. The promotion wouldn't be tough a lot of us have a decent platform to advertise this forum. The development part isn't hard at all, we could use an off the shelf forum software.

I agree. Project would be a lot easier with more minds working on it. You mean doing promoting as a topic, use through signatures or another strategy? Have you done any sort of cost estimate?

I wonder if stunna would show us his profit from the start of PD 1 until now  Tongue

I highly doubt anyone would be willing to show their profit. but I think I would be correct in saying that hes doubled the amount of Bitcoin he owns.

Just had a good streak and won a fair bit of Bitcoin.

Isn't one of the main points of Bitcoin that is it completely transparent? Why should he have anything to hide? He is definitely making good money as he is not profit sharing with an investment feature.

Does anyone know if he is the sole owner or were there perhaps investors before the site launched to create a float?

Was a very good idea! Well done guys! I was a Germany supporter from the beginning however thought the Netherlands were looking too strong. Should have put my money where my gut feeling was. Wink

I am going to try it, but it looks like this forum.

Seems to be the same layout yet A LOT smaller community.

I literally laugh out lord after reading mtgox price in the bottom of the page. Grin

Grin Grin Grin Awkward! Wow. Not very well kept or updated then. I wouldn't suggest that one.  Tongue

Bitcoin itself is a very strong investment. If you're investing with anyone other than doog it is probably a -EV move. There are too many ways for operators to swindle investors and nobody has a solid enough reputation or provable scheme to hold investments currently.

I'd just put your coins in coldstorage and check the price every month or so and watch your investment grow (at least in terms of $).

Sad but true. Will always be Bitcoins strongest and weakest point. At least this will encourage companies to find innovative ways to show loyalty and credibility. At the moment, the community helping each other out by testing new sites and posting on here seem to work rather well. However it is not very efficient. Undecided

Pity. It sounded more original than most dice sites. At least they had more than one game. Roll Eyes
11  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where to invest now? on: July 07, 2014, 01:17:29 PM
I think what you are looking for does not exist at the moment. Just Dice was the best investment but now is down too.

There is always going to be a high risk factor, even with sites that have been around longer than 6 months. Being a good investor means you will be able to spot the great sites before they become popular and expensive to gain shares in.

Is Bitcoinvideopoker still up for sale? I am looking into buying a site as long as it is in functioning order. Do you know of any?
12  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sato-Dice.com : Play or Invest : 1% House Edge : Free Bitcoin Bonus: Jackpot : A on: July 07, 2014, 01:07:16 PM
I can not open your site
immediately improve

The site seemed to be operational for a short while. Could have been opened just to show people that is is working so they could sell it or the owners realised it would take a lot more time than they had.

With this kind of project there are a lot of fine details that would need to be evaluated before purchase. Unless you could review the code yourself it would be a high risk buy!

As the domain is already down it seems like they found someone. Anyone know if there is a site around looking to sell a similar concept?

Very cool giveaway idea Smiley . Brazil is definitely highest win odds, pretty strong payout for those who are willing to take a risk though

Ok now we see u dont know anything about football Cheesy . Its Germany that will win , come on its so obvious Smiley .

Brazil has the home advantage but are not looking as strong as Germany and Netherlands!

Stunna is trying to sway the bet so his share of the grand prize could be more.   Wink

I heard they had coins stolen. Anyone know if this is true?  Huh

Nope, that is not true. All coins are perfectly safe. Smiley .

That is probably just some lame rumor .

Do you know why you need to wait for a deposit confirmation now?
In order to protect the coins from beign stolen?

No its in order to prevent double spend attempts .

Yup, someone was trying to double spend his PD deposits.
Please check https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=208986.msg7208887#msg7208887 for details.

Thank you for the link! Grin This is what I was told about. Didn't know where else to find out about this.

The FAQ still says that you need 0 confirmations for deposits. Is this only going to be updated when PD version 3 comes out? Surely this is an easy edit.

Website down. Guess they are gone?
17  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sato-Dice.com : Play or Invest : 1% House Edge : Free Bitcoin Bonus: Jackpot : A on: July 05, 2014, 05:46:50 PM
It seems like it is done. By the description it sounded like a JD copy.
18  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★★★ MEMs LIST of GAMBLING SITES ★★★ on: July 05, 2014, 05:38:13 PM
Mem,  seems like Bitcoingamer is offline due to hack on 6/14/14.. can you update your site?  Also, does anyone know what happened?
This thread need too much updates but sadly mem is too much busy in his personal life just because of this not updating all things here right now

It is a lot of work for one person to take on. It seems it was made with good intentions though. A lot of users don't know how to test if a site is scamming them or not. I have seen a lot of people waiting on dooglus's approval before playing on a new site. Maybe mem can help take some of the load.
