Some interesting posts on here! Can't say I agree though...People who feel the coin has a future and bought coins (ie bringing btc in to the zeit system) are probably less likely to dump, don't you think?

If your issue is finding out who REALLY lost out, between cryptorush and the Zeit team it shouldn't be too difficult.
Personally I'm less than thrilled that a forum can have people saying "i lost xxxM zeit Sad " followed by "i got free coins, fuck you, not giving them back!" and anyone reading this forum who was thinking about buying in probably isn't going to bother.

I'm happy to see Zeitcoin seems to be taking a different approach, and I really hope something solid will be done, having spoken with cryptorush too it sounds like all is needed is communication, it's not an unfixable problem.

And if Zeitcoin and Cryptorush can't come to some agreement, my thought was (assuming a verified list is made) those who lost coins to be fully reimbursed on completion of a set number of fair tasks (say, 3 tasks per person, NOT relative to the number of coins)...tasks like translations, blog posts, whatever is needed to improve the coin. The coins could come out of the Giveaway funds, and the coins that were given away falsely via Cryptorush can be considered freebies to work their way back into the Zeit system via cheap/dumped prices.

Win-Win-Win?

Our official statement on cryptorush is done

Please don't refund anyone, don't let 'em dump. It's cryptorush issue, lame code, lame devs, lame admins, they blame coin for their fail. Now they are talking shit about forked chain. people should know this. Spread the world, let's kill this shitty exchange. Don't refund, you are not responsible for this issues.

why so much greed? yes cryptorush screwed up, but what are we supposed to do with the ones who lost out? just say "sorry guys you lost coins, i don't care, you're on your own"? doesn't seem like the best approach. if this is a "community", then we help out where we can, we collectively take action, it's what builds strength and cooperation amongst one another. we shouldn't be distracted with things like "killing this shitty exchange", it's not constructive and i don't think that's what Zeit is about. just my thoughts, but I think instead of focusing on one exchange, we should do what's best for the Zeitcoin community.

They know it's risky to trade on such shitty exchanges like cryptorush.

I've mixed feelings about this. For sure it suits a good community to refund. But first the people who losts coins there are usually dumpers, what is happen again with the refunds and also other people (who were probably also dumpers) got extra coins while the good supporters who kept coins are in principle losing some value. Anyhow, I will buy some more from those dumpers.

Hi, I'm one of those missing all my coins and I've spoken to cryptorush. They said that they paid back as many as they could from their own pocket (site fee profits) but once that dried up they can't /won't refund more without reimbursement from Zeitcoin.

They gave me a figure of the total lost...an initial estimate at least. It's quite a few Wink

So there are still plenty still without their coins. If anyone received coins that they know aren't there's and want a bit of good karma, I believe the devs here are going to suggest something soon.
So don't spend them just yet! Smiley

For what its worth I think agamble3's design is pretty damn good. I had been playing around with it too and come up with similar but inferior designs, perhaps a little more oblique than agamble3's but certainly the same wavelength. Removing the innermost verticals on the N and the M on agamble3's design pretty much sum up my best efforts. Laurel wreathe or some shit to fill the dead space..?

Interested.

I've included a mockup design of the currency logo as my contribution for a developer stake.

It plays on the concept of equality in currency, and is very minimalist. If you guys like it, I can tweak it or incorporate your feedback for multiple iterations.

Hi,

Not entirely sure quite how I show that I've sent the NXT..

Can someone confirm I'm in?

Much appreciated!
