Thanks for sharing this! I was always wondering why xdai is so popular but your post make things very clear. Also interesting is the fact that MakerDAO and Portis are validators in the network.

The website xel.org is nice and up and running. We only need some devs, scientist and some cool ideas. This project is way undervalued right now. As I can see now, people are becoming whales because of the low price.

Great social experiment! It’s like testing science games on ethereum blockchain. Love the memes! .

Update: Bittrex deposit and withdraw are enabled.
Also: The one clicker install for the block explorer, wallet, compute engine and xel_miner is in the make.

The source code of ElasticExplorer is been located. Can some deploy this on a website? There is some difficulty making contact of the domain owner of elasticexplorer. Source code of ElasticExplorer: (The Lite branch the one you needed) https://bitbucket.org/unvoid/elasticexplorer/downloads/?tab=branchesThere is a request to the explorer on xel.org. But its a good idea to deploy it on another domain.

This project looks to be very promising! Nice that there will be a weekly update.

Donations is so humanized. Nice work guys. There are several projects claiming to build decentralized supercomputer, such as SONM, Golem and they are very close to do it. Golem is releasing beta soon and SONM will roll out production ready in August. What ELA offers in better way? Thanks
I second this question and would like to ask. Whats next now? if you haven't already, i would recommend you guys get your hands dirty and try out uploading and mining work packages (simple sample). few of us did it and it works like a swiss clock. next step is that ek will give us more complicated sample to mine and actually earn bounties for submitted shares, for now bounties are set to 0. of course this all is happening on testnet atm. it would also be cool if some devs would join and code even more work packages in ePL so we can do more intensive testing.. so far supercomputer works as promised, there is more work with frontend but backend mechanics is working as intended. huge respect to ek and coralreefer, amazing work with ePL, xel miner and core client. Totally agree ! This project will be rocking soon in the future on mainnet. For now we need people to look into the code, for testing, and for just watching it working Thanks for all those codes, EK the great, Coralreefer and others!

they can't make even site! What is a team! Anybody knows? This coin looks like scam! Your account smells like scam. This project is solid, we are happy that we have maybe the best crypto dev out there in this project. This project is unique and the people supporting are one of the oldest out here.

Holding my elastic until 2020 onwards!! Good luck to developers, we believe in you! This project is for true believers! Up to 2018 and beyond! Short term profit seekers: please go to another project, this project is about science.

Why is there not more information on your site? I think this would get more investors if you improve your website.
This project is NOT about investing. This is all about science and voluntarism. The website will be released when ready.

under 2000 satoshi again
look at the price now! more than 3200 satoshi! we have to think that the coin isn't "active" yet. When people can buy computational power with xel, well, then we see the price real rise! Patient is the key here. This project is like a gem. There a no fake market/sale news so you see the naked true here.

NXT , XRP , ELASTIC are using same technology ? Why there wallets looks exactly same with same kind of security and layout. Or the developer of wallet is same ?
Today when i was checking new coins found this coin on FaucetDump and was reading about it, found the wallet and it is same like NXT.
Let me know if this is also developed by NXT developer or Ripple Developers ?
Well the blockchain technolgy can always be adopted, but the underlying technolgy may be complety different. Personally I think it is nonsense to invent a whole new blockchain p2p tech for something you dont want use it primeraly. Its better to use a trusted blockchain that is bug free and build from there.

On the windows wallet, I get a warning that I may be on a fork, is this normal?
Yes for now this is normal. In a future update this issue will be resolved.

I am speaking for myself, but really the devs in this project are the best. They have great ideas and there skill set are so deep and creative. I have seen a lot of projects and this project is rock solid. You know why? Project is donation based and we don’t care about the price. So the only one you find supporting elastic are those who are educated and have vision behind the wall of dollars.

I have full confidence that EK and Coralreefer are developing and implementing the code in the way that serves this project the most. We are very lucky to have these talented people working behind the scenes to make this happen and we should support and back them as much as possible.
Your are not alone with these thought. I am also fully confidence that both heroes are doing the things they needed. I personally have a lot experience as a product owner. So I know these things. I hate it also when other peoples outside my scope are trying to influence the pbi of the current sprint.

can someone detail here how the hell i get my ellastic from blockchain.info ?? I invest in elastic last year and now I see that the main guy runned with the money , the second guy is not giving us a specific info to how to get your coins into wallet ...so in what i did invest ? cause i don't know anymore ...
Wow another human with the same question as hundreds before you. You did not INVEST!!!!!!!! You have donated the BTC and there are dozen people with the same question. So instead of yelling that some words do some research! I am personally tired to see the same question again and again! There are some devs working on the compute engine, and those devs are creating something great for scientific reasons. So leave the devs along and do some research!

what was the ico price of this coin?
There was NO ico in this project. Only donations! so where did people get coins from? directly from devs on exchanges? The coins are part of the donations. It is a gift. So there is no such thing as "ico price"

what was the ico price of this coin?
There was NO ico in this project. Only donations!

Volume is around 100 BTC. The lowest rate I have ever seen.
Well that means there is something...I think this little diamond will gonna rock and I it wil blow a lot of shitty ico that are over promoted by people who only thinks of dollars. So low volume is a good sign. People are working on the product in all silence.

any definitive outcome to the speculation that Lannister and EK are the same person?
One should be a complete idiot to make such speculation. Anyone who is able to read, could see they have completely different mindset, skillset, writing style, temper etc etc. But well, I assume they both are humans, thats the biggest similarity EK is not lanister. Lanister is complete different. Why bother anyhow? I mean it was a donation, there was no funding or ico. It was a donation and I think that we are not little childeren. Be happy that EK, coralreefing, unvoid and others are now coding and sugesting cool things to implent it in software. I cant wait to see the computing part into the software. One more thing; the devs are not hired, it is a Decentralized thing so anyone can join. So lanister is gone and he/she is important but not to conitnu this great project. What I really want to see is maybe more updates from the devs and maybe we as participant can help. Peace!
