It is not so easy to deal with government as long as government itself start understanding the advantages of bit coin or the majority of the country support it.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A man in UAE took six figure loan and lost 85% of his crypto value on: August 23, 2018, 07:32:02 PM
He is right, that should be a lesson for everyone out there so that no one makes such stupid decision like him. I have been investing in cryptos since early 2017 and one single rule that I have always go by was to only invest an amount that won't make your homeless. When someone takes such huge loan just to invest on a volatile market like cryptos then they are definitely asking for it, in my opinion.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Introducing the BetherNet Protocol on: August 23, 2018, 07:30:17 PM
I have read about BetherNet before and what fascinates me the most is their Token system which will allow them to maintain transparency to the fullest so that there's in no confusion among the users. Also integrating a wallet app along with their services makes the whole idea of betting very secure and easy. Definitely a project to keep an eye on.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The BEST Altcoin price ticker widge for Windows PC (Recommend!) on: August 23, 2018, 07:29:22 PM
That is a great deal for any crypto user out there. The simplified interface and addition of so many exchanges in a single widget is very fascinating as it reduces a lot of the work we have to go through just to collect this information. I'll be using it myself for sure.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Discussion: Crypto backed by gold, what else? on: August 23, 2018, 07:27:47 PM
This is not the first time a cryptocurrency is being backed by gold or any other assets. Venezuela has already planned to introduce 'Petro', their own cryptocurrency that will be the substitute for their highly inflated fiat currency and also being backed by oil and mineral holdings. Being backed by assets means the crypto will be less volatile and more stable which is a good thing.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the intrinsic value of Bitcoin? on: August 23, 2018, 07:27:05 PM
In an unregulated market like crypto market intrinsic value means nothing to be honest. For example, intrinsic value is usually used in the financial terms while defining a share in the stock market. Those shares have trademark value, copyright value etc. which do not exist in crypto market. So, basically Bitcoin does not have any intrinsic value.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano will destroy Ethereum! on: August 23, 2018, 07:26:16 PM
Cardano has been showing great potential lately by utilizing the advanced technology to their advantage whereas a lot of old ALTcoins are still to adopt such technologies. Also, it is known to have used a first of it's kind POS algorithm which might help him replace a lot of ALTs from the market given that it fulfills its potential.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You want the bear market to stop? Here are some things you can do :) on: August 23, 2018, 07:25:32 PM
We do need to invest in the coins too. HOLDing them will not do and it is not enough to make the market hit the bull run again.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think the SEC will approve CBOE's Bitcoin ETF? on: August 23, 2018, 07:24:43 PM
There seems to be less possibility that it will get approved, given that the previous encounters were negative too. But it will be a good thing if it does get approved.
