1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN-Linkchain, Remove risk, add simplicity to buying contracting services online on: October 01, 2018, 12:49:46 PM
Big week coming up for LINKCHAIN....

Tomorrow, Tuesday October 2nd Conston (LINKCHAIN's CEO) is taking part in two interviews. The first one at 1pm EST is an AMA with SkrillaKing and the second is with Crypto Beadles at 3pm EST. Both on their YouTube channels. Tune it to both to find out why LINKCHAIN is generating so much interest at the moment, and why you should probably have yourself a bag. Don't wait to FOMO once it hits the exchanges, buy now in ICO.

I know this thread is old but the same rules hold true now. Don't invest more than you can afford to lose, DYOR and only invest in ICOs with an experienced and solid team behind them, quality ICO advisors (e.g. Don Chang who is currently an advisor for both the EdenChain and LINKCHAIN ICOs),and make sure that the ICO is actually solving a real problem for which blockchain will actually really help.

+1 LINKCHAIN ...here's their details if you're interested, pre-sale starting v soon:

Does this include those still in ICO? LINKCHAINX is to me the most innovative new project of the moment. We all know that most ICOs now do nothing different and mainly follow the heard of tried and tested projects - i mean how many of those marketing and influencer marketing ICOs came out this year? Can't even count on my fingers.

LINKCHAIN is taking a very real problem that tons of freelancer workers face and solving it through blockchain tech. Isn't this what all blockchain projects should be doing? Solving real problems? That's why I like Linkchain.

Quick overview: The problem they are solving is the way that freelancers do business with people/businesses wanting to contract their work (e.g. graphic designer). If you freelance you would know the problems: If you use the big platforms like Upwork, Fiverr and Freelancer, you are charged 20% of total cost. That's a lot, and really eats into profits big time. The other big problem is the way that these platforms limit communication between seller and buyer in fear that you will take the business off the site.

What's the alternative? You can try LinkedIn right to avoid the huge fees? Millions of active professional people - both workers/freelancers and businesses looking for someone to higher. THE PROBLEM IS THIS: There is no effective way at present to efficiently connect person A (let's say the freelance graphic designer) with person B (let's say the business owner in Houston wanting to make flyers). They can both search by "graphic designer" or "graphic design job", but they will be limited to 1st and 2nd connections and also potentially be faced with thousands if not millions of results, most of which will not be suitable.

The other BIG problem with using LinkedIn is a lack of safety and security; it forces both parties to trust the other entirely. The result is often non-payment, non-delivery of promised work, leading to a waste of both time and money.

LINKCHAIN will step in here to fill this gap (a multi-billion dollar gap in the market). Users (both buyers and sellers) will log into the LINKCHAIN app using their LinkedIn sign-in details and then be auto-matched with suitable people saving potentially hours of time. And because it's runs on the blockchain, smart contracts will ensure that payments are not released until certain conditions are met/ or until work is delivered. Importantly, all users will also be vetted and assigned a rating that other members will be able to see and judge whether they want to do business. The icing on the cake here is the 5% MAX fees that users will face.

Taking all of the above into account, I can't really see how LINKCHAIN will not take a large market share from it's competitors - Fiverr, Upwork and Freelancer.

LINKCHAIN's Pre-sale starts on October 11th, and their Main-sale ICO begins on 11th November.

One last thing: they are also holding a competition this week giving away 2 ETH. I'm not sure about the details yet, but keep an eye on their Telegram: https://t.me/linkchain

Over and out!

ICOs: LINKCHAIN, Mobu and MFChain.

Alts: DAPS, TEL, OCN, UUU.

FYI - Linkchain are doing some competitions this week on their Telegram with 2 ETH prizes. https://t.me/linkchain

Alibaba offers something similar from my own point of view, or is there something I'm not understanding?

Alibaba as you know focuses on buyers and suppliers of goods, LinkChain focuses on connecting sellers of services e.g. graphic design, web design, copy writing and so on (similar to Upwork and others), with people 'buyers' - people that want to commission/ outsource or hire someone to do that. Their USP seems to be in leveraging the enormous userbase of LinkedIn (and other social media platforms), but making it easier to find suitable people and to find people that have been vetted as safe and good to do business with.

I have high hopes for their project. This service is definitely needed because upwork has come a huge monopoly plus treats their workers like shit. Something must change, and i hope Linkchain slays the evil villian that is upwork.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best altcoin for you? on: August 24, 2018, 04:06:59 PM
Best Altcoins for me are projects that solve practical problems and pushes adoption foward such as Linkchainx and Mfchainx.

Linkchainx: solves the problem of 20 percent upwork fees and the abusive policies toward their contractors by charging only 5 percent commission and having a fair arbitration policies. I also want to get away from banks and the payment processors by having payments be solely in their native coin. This means no one is at the mercy of the banks and processors when using this platform; however, they still have to have a valid identity and there will be a ranking system to make sure the best contractors and employers are visible and the scammers will not be. There will be ways to get your rank up, fairly for both parties.

Mfchain: remember when i said that i want to get away from the bank and fiat system in Linkchain review, well Mfchain is going to spur adoption through making a quick (through credits partnership for FAST TPS) and scalable transaction system. The premise is to make buying and selling through crypto easy as a credit card swipe. Their is no huge POS system; just a nice phone app with a easy AI. So businesses won't have to buy multiple units like with Pundix. They got free tx with their native token as opposed to current payment processors charging 1 to 3 percent. Merchant and Customer rebates and rewards are also included. If they can get the landing to stick on this, i thin this is a huge game changer for cryptocurrency and people will actually start to want to use it. Killing the banks and financial institutions won't happen overnight, so i respect that Mfchain is going to work with them and has Brian Rankins (VP at Ripple) working to integrate bank APIs into the POS app, so merchants can send their fiat to banks.

THESE PROJECTS THAT ACTUALLY SOLVE PROBLEMS AND HAVE A PRODUCT THAT WORKS IS THE ONLY WAY TO A BULL MARKET

As one newbie to another. Research, Research, Research. Learn what makes a business viable in the blockchain world.

I want to see someone just go off on McScamfee. I will tune in to see if any drama pops off.

Tron: they are well funded and Justin Sun is going to deliver results even if everyone think it is garbage

DAPS: they majorly screwed up with Peepcoin fiasco, but i still think they will deliver with this privacy coin

Nano: I am sickened to see this project go from 17 to where we are now, but there tech is important and i am confident they will find a way to adapt in this new crypto environment even with competitors who claim to top their speed

Credits: After the prove all the haters wrong and demonstrate that their 1 million TPS speed is legit than i see major growth for this coin.

Modern finance chain: MFX: a crypto payment sys that allows you to pay with any project than have merchant convert to USD or other fiat. They got great team members with experience in payments industry including a RIPPLE VP (Brian Rankin) and i think they just got a partnership with Credits to use their high TPS technology in their smartphone payment app. I think if the tech works and they aggressively get their app into merchants hands (which is easy as it is a smartphone app which is free for merchants and customers) they will dominate even bigger players like Pundix

Not enough information. How much capital do you have left ? What is your risk tolerance ? Need more details ? Without this information i think the only safe projects to invest in now are payment systems like Pundix and Mfchain.
