I'm surprised at the turnout. Less than 80 BTC's. Some scams have generated more than this.. Perhaps it was the minimum pricing that swayed some investors away. But best of luck to you on your project
was going through everything mentioned in the ANN and i was looking for the white paper,since this coin reminds me of the old silk road thought of having a look,and was trying to figure out the process and the transparency level ,they have collected around $50000 and that is not a bad amount altogether A similar amount ~65BTC was collected from SLK swap, so the real amount is +130BTC |

Can I still participate in the ICO?
I have SLK @bittrex, If I move them to the Wheaver (Silk (ICO)) address, then, the SLK can be swapped for dslk? Is there some risk to lost the coins due to issues in the network, or the chain is working well? People talking about issues are taking about the old Silkcoin and the old chain. Silk(SLK) has zero issues and the chain is working better than well  19hrs 20mins left of the ICO. Sent you guys a PM. Still not seeing the Silkcoin I sent last night to Weaver appear in my wallet. Intended to put it all in the ICO... We have messaged Matthew to inform him of the deposit. Could you email the TXID and your Weaver username to contact@silknetwork.orgMy deposit is credited @weaver but still market as Incoming. It has 987 Confirmations in the blockchain. I need to send an email or just wait. |

If u can withdraw from c-cex and send to them and they arrive, then u r fine
But we found a fork at Feb 2016, and thats why some ppl are 10k ahead then the normal chain
U wrote that u are at block 326k, but the normal chain is at 316k, 316581 at time of write, so u are 10k blocks in front and thats called a fork
The only way how u can test it, send 1 BTX from c-cex to your wallet, and when it arrives then send them back, if both works then u r fine
Using your files I am in the right chain now. All is working well. Thank You. I am on the correct chain (if comparing my wallet's latest block to C-Cex's wallet status is still confirmation of correct chain) and finally have a synced wallet too. Am receiving staking rewards again also. However, for some reason I can't send coins to another address. After going through the send process (even using coin control to select the BTX I want to send from a specific address) upon entering my passcode for the encrypted wallet it simply returns back to the send screen showing the address and amount I've entered as if I haven't clicked on send yet. There's no transaction and no deduction from my balance. Perhaps I have something else not set properly? Put your reservebalance to 999999999 disable coincontrol and wait until the stake coins mature, 31 blocks in a normal stake, 24 hous in a lucky stake. then send them to the desired adress, first move 1 coin to test, then move them in blocks of less than 600k, I had the same trouble in the past moving more than 600k. |

The reason is that there are atm some chain problems and we should take the most important node as the main node ...
the connect is to my server and im full syncd with the ccex node
on my home server it works very well but atm is no chain movement because on my 8 MNs i have 8 diferent blocks, it goes from -3000 to +3000 blocks from the ccex one, but all full syncd.
Have attempted full syncs from scratch on both Windows v2.1.2 and v2.1.5 and both stopped at 265476. Any good ideas how to get past that block? I too have been at this for weeks (attempting to get synced). On occasions days have gone past and the number of weeks behind only goes down by one (i.e. so wallet's reporting 19 weeks behind - 2 to 3 days later - wallet finally shows 18 weeks behind) so the syncing, when it's actually working, is very slow. But now it's stopped at 10 weeks behind on block 276170. I've tried this on both v2.1.2.0 and the new v2.1.5.0 and, even though the green completion status bar has the shimmer passing through it every few seconds indicating it's still doing something, it's firmly stuck at 276170.  I've tried adding this too: Add this to your conf file until u have full syncd

without it effecting any improvement. With that line in the .conf the number of connections is reduced to 3  with that line removed I've had up to 18 connections at times. Nice work, and gz that u putt all your other wallets in a fork together U should try to get or send anything to C-Cex, if it arrives then u are on the good chain, if not then u are on a fork. I dont know it it would be good to have an updated chain that is almost 11k blocks in front of the official chain. Coins will generate PoS and Masternodes gets income, but what u do with all your coins when u cant sell any of them .... Always take a look at what block ccex is, those chain is viewed and there is no fork, if u more then +- 250 blocks away then u could be on a fork What kind of fork?. Yes that would be great. It's been laborious not being synced as the problem just goes on and on. I said in my posting above that I've been working on this for weeks but the reality is it's been months. I haven't been synced since early December. Please let us know as soon as you've put the bootstrap up somewhere for download. Tomorrow I will update the chain in a clean pc, and upload it to mega in a zip file. Take a look tomorrow.  |

Hi, I am aware of the CPU usage problem. PoS coins do this when there are many transaction splits. I was able to replicate this issue with Blackcoin, Sling, BTX, and DarkSilk. I am working on a fix.
The unconfirmed rewards is another issue. Are they conflicted?
Thanks for your reply CryptoVote. Yes I guess they're conflicted. The wallet seems to be confused as it's still many weeks behind yet it's staking and I'm getting constant notifications of incoming stakes but they all remain with ? status. If that's what conflicted is then, yes. Put your Reserve Balance to 999999999 until the blockchain is updated. If your blockchain is still downloading and You have matured coins, the wallet begin to staking the blocks already staked, this is the conflict in the unconfirmed rewards. This solve this problem and the chain download is faster. When the chain is updated put your Reserve Balance to 0 to begin staking. @CryptoVote Can I send to You two screen captures? |

All - I apologize the second "MIA". This was totally unavoidable and I cannot got into details at this time, for several reasons. I will post something more detailed by Wednesday at the latest. Today's BTX action shows it will not go away. I have too much time and money invested in BTX for it to go away.

After my work on DarkSilk and then Sling, I will be able to work on BTX. My goal is to make BTX a decentralized casino using masternodes as virtual dealers. To get to that point, the masternode code need to be up to date with Dash and we need to solve the PoS hash problem I posted about earlier. We really need MCDev back as project manager. I hope he is okay. I am trying to contact him.
A few weeks ago, I sent an email to the BTX development team, with a proposal that I considered very promising, I assumed that it was told to all developers, but never responded to the persons concerned, if you assume leadership of developers at least temporarily while we know about mcdev, I can resend the original mail for analysis and decision. I can send you, the contact details again to your email in yandex or to another you choose, so that you can talk directly and see the proposal, analyze and can investigate further. I also have a new idea that could be considered if this proposal is accepted, among other things. |

ccex is going to delist btx!
This is really sad news ! More importantly, I haven't heard from MCDev for some time and that really worries me. When I created the BTX project , it was a takeover from a takeover: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1039964.0 of an older coin called BT. The devs had scammed the investors and I was so angry I decided to create a new coin from the old and hoped to create a great crypto-currency. That was the 5th May 2015. In the following months, all this was achieved: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1140039. Then in September, I wasn't able to keep working on the project because of new responsibilities in my life and leadership was passed on to MCDev in September 2015. Cryptovote came as the BTX dev on board and brought some advancements to BTX. The 25th February 2016, I officially left the BTX team because I could simply not participate anymore. I haven't sold any BTX. But now, BTX seems to have lost MCDev. And it's going to be delisted from C-Cex. I am really worried I might have lost all the BTC, time, work and energy I put into BTX from May 2015 to September 2015. Cryptovote sent me a message on the 3rd March though. Maybe he will keep working on the coin after all that has happened. I hope he does. Although I am already out of the project, I felt it was important I informed you of what I knew. Thanks for checking back in TheAltTrader and letting us know what you know. It is sad but hardly surprising. There's been so little activity here on this thread and not too much BTX being traded on C-Cex either (and no doubt that is one of the key reasons they're delisting it). It would be nice to see the project continue. There needs to be some focus on the basics though. I've had trouble with my wallet on Windows not maintaining sync and PMed PrometheusX to ask for help. He responded once with the usual guidelines on what settings to have in the config file. When I pointed out that I'd already done all these things but my wallet was still continually getting stuck, he just went quiet and ignored my follow-up messages. I know that everyone is volunteering their time but it's hardly confidence-building when you can't even keep a wallet in sync and people that have been part of the team just ignore you if your issue is too hard. This coin still has potential and it would be great if you could step back in. All your work should not be in vain. And all the positive sentiment expressed in the past was reasonably genuine. I'd like to see the community regroup and get committed again. This is what I Know. As You can see in the user info, in the site, McDev was active in the site 1 moth ago. Cryptovote is still working on BTX, He found an xploit in the masternodes and is woking on it, this bug affect to dash coin too and all coins based in masternodes, He is fixing the bug but He need Help, even from another devs of coins bassed in masternodes, the fix will fix their coin too. Cryptovote is still working in the sync issues. For now my wallet is updated, I can put my wallet online and I can help to maintain the blockchain moving. I think that the coin has a very high potential. Lets to regroup and commit again. BTX is an anonymous and descentralized coin right? We can follow the same structure as Anonymous Group. We need an integrative and descentralized structure. Devs, Users also, and even any people with fresh ideas, even if She/He is not a crypto dev. Anybody can Help, creating a Facebook Group in their mother language, Twitter promoter. blog, giving ideas, etc. Cryptovote can be our Dev Leader, He is the active leader . For Now I can Help moving the blockchain. My Wallet is Up to Date. .... All can Help in the project. |
