BFGMiner doesn't bother me as a name. If you feel strongly about a change, I like VersaMiner.

I've moved from running MacMiner on the MacBook Pro to running the Butterfly and Antminer U1's from a Raspberry Pi running MinePeon and updated bfgminer from nwoolls and thanks to a post from errkal.

I am monitoring from CGRemote (notice the Mac is dark and the Pi is online):

Glad I could help. Thanks for the quick update.

Thanks. I built that out of aluminum tubes and two Pinewood Derby blocks  Wink. I was worried about potential heat, etc. and this seamed like a good way to provide a quick base that will dissipate heat. I will probably move to some chrome stackable racks in the future if I expand it but this works great for now.

I am running MacMiner 1.5.10, the latest.

It manages, using FPGA/ASIC:

  • 4 AntMiner USB sticks running between 2.06 and 2.07 Gh/s
  • 1 BFL Mini 50 running at 54.54 Gh/s

It remotely monitors:

  • 1 AntMiner 180 running at 181.81 Gh/s

All display in the API window but I couldn't get MobileMiner to work. I looked at the console error messages and noticed it was connecting with machine name Darquer's_MacBook_Pro. I renamed the machine DarquerMac01 to eliminate underscores and the apostrophe.

It works flawlessly now. Every device, even the remotely monitored Ant all show up in MobileMiner. I got the stats I posted above from my iPhone.

Thank you!
