Got my original balance back today.  So there's that, at least.

Same issue here.  I'd earned about 60% on my margin account and they unwound all my trades and took my profit away.  Trying to withdraw my original balance now, it returned to my account.

This is how you mess up your reputation....how do I trust your platform now?  If I'd lost due to the market moving against me would you have returned my original balance to me?

zckeles, I'd expect that if you log in and check that you'll see that your original funding amount has been returned to your trading account, minus whatever your gains were.  So at least there's that...

Not sure why that's surprising to you.  They're running a business and charge money to use their platform.

And besides that, eBay will never allow bitcoin payments because they're irreversible.  Eventually when we have layer 2 solutions running on the network you will see reversibility built into one of those, and they may allow that to be used...

Now that's a miner I've not seen in a while.  I had some of these that I'd overvolted with a resistor mod and some extra heatsinks on the VRMs and was getting 7.2MH or so from them a long time ago.  Good little miners.

Seeing as you have no trust at all, I doubt you're going to find anyone who will agree to an escrow deal where funds are released immediately upon proof of delivery.  As you said, what's to stop you from sending them a box of rocks?

Also, the S4s are nearly worthless now due to shipping costs, I doubt anyone wants those, either.  Forcing them into a package deal is just going to turn away potential buyers.

I have no skin in this game, but just a hopefully helpful observation based on my fairly extensive experience with trading hardware on here.

I'd be surprised if you got more than $25-30 or so each around here for the S3s.  The S2s are so heavy that shipping is cost prohibitive, and they're even less efficient than the S3 at just over 1W/GH.  I think the PSU is probably worth more than the miner itself at this point.

Depends on how early you got them, they returned something like $14-15k for me the first month but that dropped off really quickly.  I also did a minor volt mod to mine to get up to 400khash each from the stock 360ish, that helped as well. If you got them a month or so later at the same price that I paid you didn't do well at all because you missed that first few weeks of crazy high profitability when the network was still almost all GPUs and these were just coming online.  Diff doubled during that first month, and LTC price went down by like 30% IIRC.  That was also right about when hashrate rental became a thing, and people were speculating on altcoins like crazy, most of which were forks of LTC.  I'd rent them out for 120-150% of LTC mining rate and did pretty well on that too, and would mine on a profit-switching pool when they weren't rented.  By month 3 I was selling them off for $80-100/ea.  I did ok by the time all was said and done.

During that timeframe I also upgraded to several GS blades, then got some 1st gen 30MH Zeuses, then some G-blacks.  The only way you made money during that time was by hustling with the hardware and continually upgrading and selling off your old stuff.  By the time I shut down my farm I was up to about 600MH of gear, that was a long time ago.  Most of it sold here, actually.  Then I moved on to Spondoolies/Bitmain gear.  Now I don't have anything at all cause the hardware prices don't make any sense with my electricity cost

Was a fun ride though.

I had some of the very first ones of these to hit the US back when they first came out.  I can remember paying $200 each, and that was only because I bought 150 of them lol.  For a short time they cranked out the highest income of any ASICs I've ever had, back when LTC was $30-40 and diff was 10k or so.

That's not correct.  The SP35/31 consumes 3600-3800W to achieve 5.5TH.  Rerun your numbers with that and you'll see why he made the offer he did.

FYI, you can get S7s that are about the same hashrate at less than half the power usage for about $500-600/ea these days.  Granted, that doesn't include a PSU.

I've finally torn down my mining operation, and have no need for this stuff anymore.  This gear is super beefy and industrial/enterprise grade.  I never had any issues at all with any of it and used it 24/7 for about 18 months.

2x Dell J520N metered PDUs.  Each of these are 6 feet tall and capable of supporting about 10,000W of gear.  I only used one at a time so that I always had a spare just in case of failure, I never had to use it.  So one is new and one is used.

1x Mennekes 360C6W In-Line Connector, 60 Amp, 250VAC, 2 Pole, 3 Wire.  This is the lead/outlet that you will need to connect to your subpanel in order to power one of these PDUs.  Wire this up to a dual 50A 240V power drop and you'll be able to run 10kw of hardware.

2x 15A 7plug power extenders.  These plug into the PDU and will allow you to extend a bank of outlets about 10 feet away from the PDU.

2x Netgear 10/100 24 port ethernet switches.  Again, two so that if one fails you have a spare.

1x 8 port gigabit switch.  Extend network from the main switch to wherever.

4x 5 port 110V power strips.

1x Digital Loggers Web Power Switch v.7.  120V, 15A.  I used this to ping an outside host and powercycle the modem if it fails a certain number of times, and ping an internal host and powercycle the switch if it fails a number of times.  I also used to use it with batches of gridseed pods that were running on raspberry pis, if the pi failed to ping i'd powercycle the entire batch and the pi.  Makes your operation a little bit more hands-off and improves uptime.

A crapload of 240V power cables and ethernet cables.  Not going to bother counting them up but I've run up to 30 miners at once and never ran out, so you'll likely be able to run whatever without worrying about needing to buy more cabling.
