A lot of new ICOs are based on ERC-20 (Ethereum) and Ethereum is TOP 2 coin in coinmarketcap. I think Ethereum can overtake bitcoin but need a lot of year for Ethereum can overtake bitcoin.

Major way to get something worthwhile from bitcoin is to be patient with it, the value might have dropped in the past but it doesn't mean it will stay there. The coin will recover at some point and get back its value or and even grow more. so be patient and hold a while longer and you will get your reward

I have to say my biggest mistake is not buying BTC in 2012 when my friend told me about it. My second biggest mistake was getting caught up in some FOMO and buying some coins in January when I should have just waited. I'm sure a lot of people here feel the same.

Personally, I would say the best three coins to invest into for the long term is bitcoin, etherum and NEO. These are solid coins with good fundamentals and has the capacity to grow over the long term
